This review is long overdue! But I've been telling everyone I know that ABC totally beats Total Wine! And I attribute this to the hospitable, awesome staff that runs this location. I needed a ton of ingredients for holiday cocktails and Ken was a huge help. He was kind, courteous, and super knowledgeable. I've never received helpful or even friendly service from TW. This liquor store had some of the most rude staff I have ever met. I put my beer on the counter and left.

Didn't get to buy anything because a rude 35+ year old lady w brown hair was scolding me because I was looking for a beer that I didn't see and walked into a team member area on accident. Instead of trying to help me she just repeatedly asked me what was I looking for. I am gonna pray for her and hope she finds the light and purpose in her life. read more

Just go down the street a little and shop at Total Wine and More. This store doesn't have a whole lot. The cashier was rude and nasty.

Why not give ABC 5 star? I encountered no problems here. I was able to do my 6 pack of mixed beers, and was quite happy with the selections they had available. Total Wines may have more beer selections than ABC, BUT Total Wines doesn't always carry everything. Sometimes, you have to come here to find a more unique variety of craft beers. I do find things here that Total Wines doesn't always have in stock or at all. Total Wines isn't always the Messiah of all things alcohol. read more

If we could give a zero star, we would. We are very unpleased about the incompetence of the staff of the Fort Myers, FL store on S Tamiami Trail. We did a big purchase on March 15, but they messed up at the registry, which took us 45 minutes. The conseqence is that our card was debited twice, because the correcting refund didn't go through. Called but was advised to come into the store with tickets. We are out of town and find this whole situation very disturbing. AND our debit card got blocked because of all ABC's incompetent mess!! Had to call the bank in order to deblock. ABC has to look for more skilled personnel or they should train them!! Horrible. Will never be back! read more

This place is Wonderful. I'm not sure if this is a typical ABC thing or unique to this store but the staff is So friendly & helpful. I ended up here for the first time after leaving a Wine & More that was unreasonably rude to me when I forgot to wear a mask. Here its no concern. I'm greeted every time I walk in the door, I've never been here and not been offered assistance. Staff is very knowledgeable and you can tell is trained to be there for the customers. I have ended up in conversation at the register every time I've been here. One woman got me to sign up and get some rewards. Whatever you're doing, keep it up. Good customer service is becoming so rare, I just had to write a review when I found some place doing it right. read more

Purchased bottle of patron from behind cashier and the price clearly stated $17.98, got to register and total price paid was $27. Immediately after transaction said something to cashier and she pulled the tag off of the shelve and said it was in the wrong spot. Would not honor the shown price and still had to pay the $27. Alright so I am 22, I've been wanting to get whip shots for the longest to make me some fun hot cocoa but ABC is the only liquor store near me that sells these. I was hanging out with my friend who happens to be 20 y/o and I asked her if she could take me there so I could buy the whip shots, so she took me. She helped me look for them because she goes with her mom all the time. We looked all over the store and the whip shots happened to be by the register next to the buzzballz so I was like you know what let me grab a couple of the chocolate ones. I also grabbed a couple snacks. I go to the cashier to pay, and pull out my ID, obviously, but the lady asked for my friends ID as well. We told her the stuff was for me to take home and that my friend was 20, and the lady refused to sell the stuff to me. It was a little odd because no one had ever done that before, but she said it was company policy so I get. But what ticked me off was that when I said alright I will just get the snacks the lady STILL REFUSED to sell the snacks to me. If I had been rude to the lady I would MAYBE understand, but I was extremely nice to her the entire time. That was completely out of line and unnecessary. I highly doubt it is company policy to sell snacks WHICH HAVE NO LIQUOR IN THEM. Like if we were gonna get drunk off of toasted corn. read more

Saturday evening. Two individuals in the entire store working checkout translates to ZERO customer service in the aisles. What's the point of having a diverse inventory if you don't have the store properly staffed to help make a sale. I shouldn't have to walk your floor for ten minutes to find a bottle of wine without any customer assistance. Customer service sells product. I could say so much more. read more

they do not stock the high demand items like some buffalo trace family bourbons like weller 12 on the shelves. I went to three abc stores today. one was out of weller 12, but the other two refused to sell me any because they were holding them for themselves or a friend the n fort myers abc is the same. I was in here last week with my 20 year old son. I had wrist surgery, so he was carrying the basket for me, since I could not stand the strain on my wrist. The young lady at the checkout, who looked barely 21 herself, told us that he could not handle the liquor or she would have to refuse the sale, but she would allow it this time only. I told her he was carrying the basket, not holding the bottles, and I was not aware that physical contact was a reasonable threshold for refusal of a purchase. She said he could push the cart, but not carry the basket. I told her that made absolutely no sense whatsoever. Absolute lunacy. It's not like he was trying to make the purchase himself. I liked this place because I am in Home Depot a lot and this is convenient, but never again - off to Total Wine for me from now on. Too many choices to have to put up with an attitude. read more

Was getting wine for my mother and I and brought my daughter in with me. They wouldn't let me purchase the wine because my daughter helped me CARRY the wine that my mother could not hold herself. Will not be returning to this inconsiderate store. read more
