If I could give ABC Liquor zero stars, I would. I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life here, thanks to an employee named Fernando. I asked for help finding a bottle of wine, and his response was not only rude--it was outright abusive. He told me to "go find the wine yourself" and then said "go f** yourself."* Yes, you read that right. An employee actually said that to a customer. Fernando was condescending, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional from start to finish. When I called him out on his behavior, he continued to backtalk and escalate the situation instead of resolving it. It's absolutely unacceptable for any businessespecially one in customer serviceto tolerate this kind of behavior from their staff. I will never shop here again, and I strongly urge management to address this or risk losing more customers. Update to this review, I try to report this to the store manager and I had one of the most frustrating and disappointing customer service experiences with a store manager named Lorie Lawton. From the moment I tried to voice my concerns, she was dismissive, condescending, and completely unprofessional. Rather than listening or trying to help, she continuously talked over me, backtalked, and made it painfully clear she wasn't interested in resolving anything. Instead of taking accountability or offering solutions, Lorie chose to pass the buck, pointing fingers elsewhere while ignoring everything I said. Her attitude was not only rude but borderline hostile. It felt like she was doing everything in her power to avoid responsibility, and it left me feeling disrespected and unheard. A store manager should set an example--not make the situation worse. If this is the kind of leadership this location is operating under, I strongly urge upper management to take a closer look. I come to ABC frequently. They are convenient and I find they have very competitive pricing. One wine that I regularly buy is $3.00 cheaper here than at the most popular grocery store. That adds up in my book. They always immediately offer a hello, have regular tastings on wine and spirits. The staff is knowledgeable about their products. They always have a suggestion when it comes to wine and more often than not steer me in the right direction. High five to you. read more

It's a yes for me! I love the assortment of every category they have here! Wines, champagne, liquor, mixers, juices, salt for rims, cheese and crackers, snacks, soda, glasses, wine openers.........etc.....they have it all. They also sell these nifty vitamin shots you take before you drink (if you drink like that) to prevent a hangover. Not my style but some will party. I find the prices to be reasonable. Janessa is the best wine sommelier. She's a trained Som who has traveled to Europe and S America. It's a joy to talk to someone with excellent customer service skills and enthusiasm. I enjoy her postcard board of Wineries she's visited and her two recommendations were spot on - The Concreto Malbec (grapes fermented in patented oval concrete barrels to protect temperature) and a Margeaux for $35 (rare to find at that price). My cashier invited me to join their free rewards program which saved me $10 upon enrollment and $5 more recently. Lots of parking and I'm in and out quickly. Pretty dumb to ask for ID when it's time to pay and I'm not the one paying!!!! If anything ask for ID upon entry. What's the point at the end? If ID is needed to be in the store why the heck would u check for it after I've been in the store for 15 minutes. I don't get it. I'm new to Florida maybe this is how it is. Though I haven't encountered this at other liquor stores. ‍ So, my 36 year old self has to stand outside while my fiancé makes the purchase. I totally understand the need for ID to make the purchase but if you aren't paying who cares!!! What the difference between me standing inside and outside?? I'm still on the premises. For what it's worth the cashier was pleasant. I'm just annoyed at the "policy". Hence the one star. Fix that it's annoying!! Implement a standard upon entry not upon exit that's just dumb. This review is going to probably be a bit biased because I call on this store as account for work and I also shop here. I love this store because it is well lit because of the windows. You don't feel claustrophobic as if you are in a dark dreary dungeon. Brian and his staff are friendly, attentive, and very knowledgable when it comes to their store. They have a huge selection of items and are always fully stocked. Plus, they will mark things down, especially the perishable food items, when they are moving slow or close to their expiration date. I have bought some yummy olives there and just last week I bought two boxes of crackers, marked down to a $1 each! Their wine tastings are a blast to attend, too. The staff is very efficient and will get you in and out of the store quickly. They don't mind price matching at all and will special order an item for you, if you ask. read more

This location is my go to, I can walk to if needed. Today I made a quick pit stop in before having lunch at the Oxford Exchange, great idea. Since it was my first time as well as the three other friends its near impossible to pin down the spot in wine to serve and purchase, too much pressure! I walked in and immediately one of favorite employees noticed my frantic and stedfast pace to the chilled white wine refrigerator, thank god for him. I explained my turmoil over my selection and he pointed me in the perfect direction of wines that would satisfy all palate choices. I must say the wine was a hit. In the past I've always thought of ABC as a good place to buy wine and spirits. However, my most recent visit has changed my opinion. I saw a full-page Lueken's Liquors' ad in the Sunday newspaper. The ad offered an excellent price on a favorite wine of mine. Lueken's is a little bit far away from my house. But I recalled that ABC had a price matching program. So I snipped out the ad, showing my favorite wine at $5.99 and additionally the ad had a $10 off $50 purchase coupon. I thought, "I'll just go to ABC and give them my business since they are more conveniently located and I'm accustomed to shopping there anyway." When I got to ABC the one employee working the floor was busy with another customer. So I waited patiently as he finished up with her and then inquired as to whether or not they would price match. He asked me if I had the ad with me and I said "Yes I do." He then went to check to see if they had the wine I wanted in stock. I had decided I would buy a case to take full advantage of this great deal. He came back and told me that they did not have a case, they only had seven bottles available. I did a quick calculation in my head and determined that at $6 a bottle, seven bottles would put me at a total of 42 which would not reach the $50 limit I needed to use my $10 coupon. When I told the gentleman that, he said that they wouldn't take the coupon anyway. I said, "Really?! So you will match the price but you will not accept your competitor's coupons?" He said, "No, we don't do that. But if you buy $100 we will give you $10 off for our coupon." I told him I couldn't buy $100 worth that I might as well just go to Lueken's instead. I was so disappointed. I made a special trip to ABC and waited patiently only to find out that they don't really price match because they don't accept their competitors' coupons. I think this is a foolish policy. Lueken's will now get my wine business (which is appreciable over the course of a year). ABC essentially got the benefit of Lueken's advertising, but then blew that opportunity, by showing me, with their coupon policy, that Lueken's offers the wine consumer a better bargain. read more

Nothing is more disappointing than an employee having no interest in helping a customer or an employee having snarky remarks when I have a question. I have been to this store several times and the only people who have been helpful are the very short haired woman and the newest employee .
