The technician who drew my blood was exceptionally calm, attentive, and friendly. She even inquired if I had ever fainted and then paused to express concern. She reassured me that I shouldn't worry and advised me not to look at the needle. She was fantastic. I didn't even feel the needle penetrate my skin, nor did I experience any pain while she was drying my blood and other vials.

I've gone here twice now and had a great experience both times. Professional staff, excellent (pain free) phlebotomist and I was in and out in under 30 minutes (as there was one person in front of me). Yes, it's an older building but that's part of what keeps the prices down. Old doesn't mean dirty. I saw them spray door handles with disinfectant between patients and I was treated the same or better than at much pricier insurance-funded establishments so I really wasn't concerned about this. So, I don't know. Try them and make up your own mind as to what is important to you. For me, it was low cost, professional staff and quick service. I didn't care about the age of the building here any more than I cared about the older building my primary care physician had for a number of years before he was finally forced by the landlord to move to a new facility. I'm saddened he has to pay a higher rent now even though he has kept his fees the same. But he's still the same doctor, just in a new building, who still recommends this lab, particularly for patients without insurance.

I'm so happy I came here! The place was extremely clean and organized in-take process. The doctor and his nurse, Blanca, made sure I was comfortable as they tended to my wound. Tiny piece of glass is very hard to find, and they took their time to make sure it was out without causing me major discomfort (they had to numb my foot as the issue was right on my heel eeek)! An hour later, I was hobbling back to my car with gauze and ointment that they gave me. The icing on the cake was a call from Blanca that I just received. She called me to check in and asked a few questions to make sure it was healing correctly. Customer service like that is so rare, and considering the reason why I came in which wasn't too serious, I sincerely appreciated that human touch. It says a lot about the caretakers!! ‍
