Insurance changed for my mother-in-law, which means new doctors and a new lab location…read more The drive was further than our wait today. We arrived at ABC Laboratories, signed in, and gave our identification and insurance info. Within minutes, we were given back our cards and headed to a chair to sit and get labs drawn. We were actually the only patients there. The woman doing my mother-in-laws labs got it done on the first poke. She was patient with my mother-in-law as she removed her jacket. I always look for a name tag but did not see the woman's name.

Street parking during the day is limited around the residential neighborhood, but I was able to find a spot about a block away. The gate slides open once you announce yourself through the gate's intercom. You could potentially park inside, but again it seemed to be packed with cars already. The other Yelp reviews indicate that this business has a lot of work to do in terms of patient interaction and clarity. Fortunately for my visit, everyone was professional. I brought my slip, signed in, and then was asked by the lady at the front to wait, since I arrived during their lunch hour. Later, a phlebotomist brought me into their test floor where a seat was available for drawing blood. She mentioned how I was the same age as one of her sons and felt like time had passed by too quickly. Blood work was painless and done before knew it.

Terrible service! Rude front office staffs!…read more All staffs are not trained well and awfully ruined to their patients! They think they are the only testing labs in the community so they think they entitle to treat every patients rude and disrespected! It is my doctor's choice within their network to use them . If i have a choice i wont use unprofessional service when they are in a professional field. I asked her to let me talk to the manager , she said no. Just come back another date she that set my new appt without letting me know when i thought she checked me in for my appt. I drove an hour drive to here and i did called her and said because the freeway i came from have accident in the front so traffic will be 10 mins late when i arrived she get my ins card , id and i thought she checked in and she went yo back office and dont say anything then come up and said see me next time. She literally wasted another 10 mins and she blamed on me. She could have tell me and dont check me in and wasted my time and said dont see me! What a shame when you are in professional setting and act so low! Worst is another lady came over yelled at me too! I said what the heck? The security was good shaking his head how they treated me! No mercy and treating patients extremely horrible and terrible! Feel sorry for the owner of the business that have terrible staffs mistreating his customers

Terrible experience and poor service…read more I went to my orthopedic doctor appointment today and brought the MRI CD from this DMG location with me. My orthopedic doctor told me the CD was empty and that there was no report on the disc at all. He suggested that I go back to DMG to either ask for a refund of the $15 fee or at least get a printed copy of the report. I arrived at DMG around 2 PM. Unfortunately, the staff members were not very helpful or friendly. They simply told me to sit and wait while they checked the issue. I had another appointment at 3:30 PM, so after waiting for about 30 minutes with no update, I had to go back and ask what was going on because I didn't want to miss my next appointment. They told me they were making a new CD and that I needed to give them time. I explained again that I had another appointment at 3:30 PM, but they just kept telling me to wait. Eventually, they gave me a new CD, but honestly, I didn't want to risk another problem. So I asked if I could also get a printed copy of the MRI report in case the CD still didn't work. The staff member initially told me they don't provide paper copies. I was confused because clearly they are able to send the report to my family doctor, so why can't I, as the patient, get a copy of my own report? After going to the back office, they finally gave me both a new CD and a printed copy of the report. But honestly, why is asking for my own MRI report treated like I did something wrong? I was sitting there waiting for over an hour for the CD after the MRI screening in March 2026, and ended up they gave me an empty CD? Does it make any sense?

I don't normally write reviews, but after the experience my family and I had at Medical Imaging of…read moreSouthern California, I felt compelled to share our story. couple of weeks ago, I started experiencing some pain in my groin area. My primary care physician ordered a urine test and an AFP blood test. To my complete shock, the AFP results came back elevated. My doctor called me into his office and explained that the blood work showed signs that could be consistent with cancer. Hearing those words was one of the most frightening moments of my life. I consider myself a healthy person with no significant medical history, so this came completely out of nowhere. My wife and I were devastated. Like any parent, my first thoughts were about my two young children. I couldn't stop thinking, "What if I have cancer? What if I won't be here to watch my kids grow up?" My doctor referred me to a urologist, but the earliest appointment we could get was August 5th. To us, that felt like an eternity. Every day waiting was filled with anxiety, fear, and countless sleepless nights. My wife spent an entire Friday calling every urologist and imaging center she could find. We even decided we would pay out of pocket if necessary because we simply couldn't wait. Most places couldn't fit us in or weren't willing to help. Then she called Medical Imaging of Southern California on Wilshire Boulevard. From the very first phone call, everything changed. After hearing our situation, the staff immediately understood the urgency and compassionately found a way to fit me in that very same day. That simple act of kindness meant more to us than words can express. When I arrived, everyone already knew my situation and treated me with genuine care and empathy. There was no feeling of being "just another patient." They made me feel like a person whose fears truly mattered. I especially want to recognize Carla, the ultrasound technologist. She was absolutely incredible. Throughout the entire examination, she remained calm, professional, gentle, and incredibly compassionate. She understood how scared I was and constantly reassured me that I was in good hands. She explained each step of the process, answered my questions with patience, and treated me with kindness that I'll never forget. Healthcare needs more people like Carla. Once my scans were completed, they didn't make me wait days wondering about the results. They were immediately reviewed by Dr. Jabour, who personally met with me afterward. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Jabour. He took the time to carefully review every image with me, explain exactly what he was seeing, and answer every question my wife and I had. He never rushed us. He spoke with confidence, compassion, and honesty. Instead of simply reading a report, he educated us, reassured us, and made sure we understood everything. His calm demeanor, extensive knowledge, and genuine concern immediately put us at ease. By the time we left his office, the fear that had consumed our family for days had been replaced with hope and tremendous relief. It felt like a thousand-pound weight had been lifted off our shoulders. Medical Imaging of Southern California didn't just perform an ultrasound. They changed our lives. They reminded us what healthcare is supposed to be: compassionate, patient-centered, professional, and truly caring. To Dr. Jabour, Carla, and every member of your amazing staff, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for treating us with dignity, kindness, and compassion during one of the scariest moments of our lives. Thank you for taking our concerns seriously and acting so quickly. Most importantly, thank you for giving my family peace of mind and allowing us to smile again. We will never forget what you did for us, and our family will always be grateful. If I could give Medical Imaging of Southern California more than five stars, I absolutely would. They have earned my highest recommendation without hesitation.

I tried several times with 2 different browsers, making sure fields were filled out correctly. Frustrating. I also tried downloading the images to my desktop, but when I tried opening them, no images. Just a bunch of binary code or something. Now I have to drive to the imaging center, pay for parking, and waste my time and theirs waiting for images to be put on CD. CD? Hasn't this technology been replaced years ago with USB? I called to schedule a Coronary Calcium Scan as a self-pay patient -- no insurance, no doctor involved. I made that very clear from the start. Getting through to someone wasn't easy either -- the phone system is a guessing game with no obvious path to scheduling. I would have preferred to book online, but a Coronary Calcium Scan simply wasn't listed as an available option on their website, so calling was my only choice. The appointment was set. Then, at 4:30 PM the day before my scan, I got a call telling me I needed a doctor's referral. When I reminded the rep that I had specifically explained I was self-pay with no referral, it didn't matter -- the appointment was cancelled anyway. I can't review the facility itself, the equipment, or the on-site staff because I never got that far. What I can say is that the intake process failed at every step: an inaccessible phone system, an incomplete online booking option, and front-end staff who either don't document or don't read patient notes. I hope someone at RadNet reads this and uses it as an opportunity to train staff on handling self-pay patients properly. A last-minute cancellation caused by an intake error wastes patients' time and erodes trust before the relationship even begins.

When I tell you that the last one that hit was a special kind of hell....well.....there's no exaggeration there at all. I've learned the hard way what kind of stone my particular body produces, and it's the calcium oxalate variety. This means I'm tasked with keeping oxalate levels down to a minimum, and learning the low oxalate diet asap. Unfortunately for me, that means no more baked potatoes, no more dark chocolate of ANY kind, no more iced tea and a host of other high oxalate foods! Not sure why the reviews are so bad for this place, but I can say that I was handled with the utmost respect, and was in and out in literally 35 minutes.
