I showed up about 20 minutes early for my appointment just in case I had to wait... especially after reading all of y'all's reviews..., but they actually saw me almost right away and finished before my scheduled time , such a nice surprise! I was a little cautious pulling up because the outside isn't much to look at, but once I went inside, everything was super clean and organized. I hate getting blood drawn with a passion, my veins can be tricky & it's so uncomfortable for me, but my technician, Dara, was 10/10 amazing! I had to get alllot taken and she was kind, professional, I barely felt a thing and made me feel really well taken care of.Honestly, I wish every tech and nurse was like her. 2/27/24 I have to admit, the facade is hella shady looking lol. But why a 4 star? I will overlook the outside view, the small parking lot but my experience was pretty good. I had a 2pm appt and entered the facility at 1:45 and there were 2 kiosk to check in. There was no one there and I was skeptical already. I entered my phone number & it asks for my ID as it instructs me to place it to be scanned. Then it asks if I want to use my insurance to pay for today's appt & if so to scan my insurance card, done. I wait about 3-5 minutes & more customers roll in and my name is called. The staff who took me & performed the necessary requirements is named America. She's friendly & efficient. She proceeds to ask appropriate questions, then informs me what the appt will entail: vital signs, labs & a urine sample. She draw my blood w/o any issues. She directed me to the restroom to provide the sample and just like that, I was done. Easy peasy! Maybe I just got lucky because when I left, there were about 6 people waiting to be seen. If I can give an 0, I really would. My mother had came to this site on 6/18/25 , and the service was just horrible! The way the phlebotomist work with no care and just unacceptable attitude. My mother was treated so poorly and the way the phlebotomist had treated her was horrendous. My mom had multiple labs ordered, she had to get blood drawn and a urine test. While the phlebotomist was taking blood out , they forcibly kept shoving the tube and my mother was in pain. Then after the blood drawn was the urine test and while my mother was taking the test, she began to bleed out relentlessly. The phlebotomist reaction toward my mother made it seem like it was her fault. This unacceptable, my mother only did what the phlebotomist told her to do so! How is it that the patient is at fault due to the lack of care of the phlebotomist? Totally unacceptable. read more

Go if you have always had a fantasy to be a victim in a Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, or Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I mean I feel butchered. I got 7 vials taken just 5 days prior from Good Sam with no pain. 4 vials and my arm feels like Swiss cheese. I knew she did a terrible job because the vials were filling slowly, which indicates she may have missed. She had to wiggle the needle and vial to fill it. And I'm a big boy. Never had issues donating or filling. DON'T GO TO THIS ONE. Customer service, and treatment were the worst I've ever experienced. Both doses of covid vaccine felt better than this experience. MARIA is the an Angel if you have bad veins. She got my hand vein on the first try and I swear I didn't feel anything...that's never happened with anyone else! Went here for some cash only lab work. I do realize what area this is, however I felt some of the staff were very rude here. Most of the demographic here are lower income community members who only speak Spanish and much less have experience with an iPad. I felt like the staff were annoyed that the customers didn't know how to use the iPad to check-in, were giving attitude and responded in English ( speak to them in Spanish and be helpful)! I could hear the frustration, but that's no reason to get mad at the customers. You are here getting paid to service the customer, don't be mean/condescending/ or rude. The one person in particular has short burned bleached hair with roots coming out, I didn't catch her name but she was the one I most saw exhibiting this behavior. On that note, why would you have iPad only check-in, this poor gente literally said in Spanish "what if I don't know how to use it"? It's the 4th time I go with my son. Every time I go there's always an issue first he had an appointment at 2:40 he walked in and they told him it was close already when they close at 3pm. Second time we go turns out they didn't have the test he had to get done. 3rd time I go they said they still hadn't have the lab work he needed to get done so I told the lady I was going to email it to them it was 2:50 again they close at 3:00pm she told me we are closing in 10 minutes and I told her I have them here she said ok then she said will be closing in 3 minutes she told us to wait in the leaving room 2 minutes she went to us and told us they had to close. 4rd time I go I was 5 minutes late because I had a doctors appointment across the street and I told the lady in the front seat I tried calling her answer was oh well we don't answer calls and you are late you either sign up as a walk in or reschedule I had asked her how long is the walk ins? STAY AWAY! There are many Quest Diagnotic labs where patients can go! This one is beyond tacky! I would give it a minus one if I could. First, it is very GHETTO! When you drive up, the first thing you notice is that the area is run down and the outside surroundings are fifthy! Also, as another review pointed out, parking is difficult. So if the parking lot is full, you may have to park your car several blocks away in the ghetto. Second, and probably more important, a few of the staff members, are unprofessional, rude, and just plain stupid. It is very clear they don't care about the patients. Avoid this place like the plague. Not only are the staff amazingly rude, they're totally incompetent. I had given them all the necessary paperwork on 1/16/18 and today 1/19/18 they denied I gave them the paperwork and claimed that I was not in the system so I had to go back home and get the copy of the paperwork. The parking is terrible so I had to drive for 30 min to find parking. When I returned, the rude woman I originally saw earlier in the morning stood up and walked away and was laughing at me with another lab tech. A different woman took my drop off. Then claimed I had more lab work, which I knew was not the case. The three lab techs all chuckled at me when I took the specimen bag. At that point, I lost it and told them I was going to the other lab in Montebello from now on. The tech laughed and said "So? See ya!" That's when I used some four letter words that I shouldn't have used. This place will bring out the worst in you. They do not have a number where you can speak to a person and complain, everything is automated. I'm not even sure if they will process my lab work. Just avoid this place. UPDATE 1/19/18 1:40pm: I called the main headquarters for Quest 1 866 697 8378 and was on the phone for nearly an hour. While the wait time was a pain, the customer service rep, David was awesome. He made sure the East LA office processed my lab tests and sent in a formal complaint. If I would not have called, the petty folks at the East LA branch would have destroyed my tests, forcing me to start all over. Thank you David. I will still avoid this branch. read more
