Do not use abc lock smith David from there sent a tech out to me I told them I lost my key to my 2020 ford transit connect there service said they can reprogram and make new key tech came out said it would be about 20 min 1 hr goes by he comes up to me said he could make it work you can try someone else found my key next day and I get nothing my original key so sent it to ford they told me I need both keys to reprogram so had my company end second key they couldn't reprogram cause the bcm was blown so called David he said now way that can happen ford said it very well of could of happen but there not 100% sure anyways went from 200 dollar think to 1287 and he dosnt want to take no accountability read more

Total scam artist, tried to charge $250 for a few minutes work. I am beyond frustrated with them. I have had REAL doors unlocked for a $100 and they tried to chage $250 for a STORM door. I locked myself out of my house and tried calling a few places. the weather was 11 degrees and I had already been outside for almost 30 minutes with my dog. he called me back and said he could be there in 30 mins so I had hesitated because I thought I was getting a call from another place and I was freezing. he heard me hesitate and asked if I call other places to which I told him yes but please send someone out. he said "no you called other places" and immediately hung up. super rude on the phone in subfreezing temperatures when I was just trying to get my animal back into the house. didn't even get a price but terrible customer service and don't bother calling them if you want to shop around. read more

ABC Locksmith came out quickly to address a lock replacement due to a key being broken off and stuck in the lock. They didn't have the commercial lock on hand at the time so they found a temporary replacement and then came back out once the commercial lock was available. The lock was keyed to the correct key. Paid a bit more than expected but the service was worth it. read more

Was quoted around $80 for service calm and $80/ hour for labor. However was charged $225 for service guy to supposedly drive 20 minutes ( even though he said he was in town during phone call) and perform one minute of labor! All he did was drill a hole into the cylinder lock on an outdoor storage unit.. Had I known it would cost more than $150, I would of simply gone down the street, bought a new drill and bit for $80 and do it myself. The bill just showed $65 and $165. We were in a huge hurry and at this point had to have lock removed ASAP and my son begrudgingly paid him the $230. I asked him what the $165 was for and all he kept saying was this the service charge even though I told him the office gave me an estimate they was much cheaper 12 hours earlier. Plus he shattered my lock which costs me another $20 to replace! $250 for 5 seconds of drilling. Sure the locksmith acted like he was trying to pick it along with the drilling so as not to finish in 5 seconds but that didn't fool anyone! ! A few years ago, i work for a Door Company and we always stuck to our initial quotes. In fact we'd only charge the service charge fee, $85, to simply drill a hole to open a padlock or cylinder lock! We wouldn't charge any labor for a few seconds of work! I guess ethical American business practice isn't of concern to ABC. read more

Would not recommend. Feels like a scam AND unsafe. No pricing quoted on call with answering service. Fast-talking technician reached out and insisted on coming to "see" the job before he could give an estimate. Prices are exorbitant. Selected products are not top quality and may not be recommended for certain doors. While the company did arrive in a reasonable time frame, the price was near extortion. I have needed a locksmith on a Saturday before and paid $100 less than this company charged today. They never discussed a price with me prior to service and now I know why. They also charged me via venmo and never provided an invoice. Learn from my mistakes. I suggest looking elsewhere. read more

Extremely disappointed in this company. I needed a locksmith to come to my location to unlock a car with lost keys and remote. Quoted a price by the office. Charged a non disclosed service charge to show up. Technician is a subcontractor. Technician disabled Chip function in car, did not use OEM compatible chip blank in the car, didn't have the remote in his service truck. Technician promised he would come back and take care of the remote situation. Technician charged double quoted price. I called the office a week and half later to rectify the situation, all I got was the subcontractor calling me to say he would fix the situation. Do not trust these people to do what they promise. I wouldn't recommend these guys. We had an issue with our commercial door closer and they sub contracted the job to another company. The contractor was rude and wanted to up sell the repair. We went with a different company and were happy with the results, completed the job did everything that the sub contractor said couldn't be done. I can not give David at ABC Locksmith enough accolades. I returned from out of town to realize that I didn't have my keys and couldn't get into my house. It was a freezing February morning. I called a number of places and couldn't even get anyone to answer the phone or call me back. David was so incredibly kind to get to my house as quickly as he did. He was in the middle of a service call, but once he finished, he immediately came to work on my lock. I was in a position that he could have charged me an exorbitant amount and I would have been forced to pay it. Instead, he was completely honest and very reasonably priced. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation. The key broke for my SUV right as i was getting to work. I called the dispatch number and a locksmith returned my call within 10 minutes. He showed up on time, gave me an upfront price, and finished the job within 20 minutes. No hassle, the key worked great, and i was on my way. It might not have been the cheapest option but they are reliable and did a great job. read more

I contacted this company to have a broken lock replaced on a mailbox and was told they would be at my home between 9am-10am. The locksmith began calling me at 7:30am telling me he'd be there soon. While not planned for, earlier is fine. This continued through 11:00am! When the locksmith arrived, he arrived in a beat up sketchy looking van with no branding on it. He took the broken lock off and demanded that we pay him since he opened the mailbox. He then said he had no parts to replace the lock and said he was running out to get parts. We called him after a while to see where he was in getting the part and he told us he thought we were going to fix the lock and did not return. I tried calling him back and his number is disconnected. I called the main office who said they'd refund my money though I would be surprised if that happends. Do no use this company. They employ people who try to extort money to do work and then don't return! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more
