I asked if they were opened tomorrow (Monday) but he said they were closed due to low staff.. he said once they do get more people then they might just go to opening Mondays. been coming to abc since they were across the street! my son was 2 years old he's now 9! was sad but happy for Daisy, she was on vacation visiting family but Ben was nice enough to show me pictures of her having fun! i'll be coming back once Daisy is back to get my pedicure! she is the only one i love to go to when it comes to my pedicure. over all experience has always been great. they've always taken good care of me and my family with great vibes!

I walked in and came in for a hot gel manicure. I know it's always a gamble walking into a place you've never been before but I thought I'd give it a shot because I had a date that night. Usually they come out really nice and uniform looking but she basically just filed, drilled and painted my nails with gel polish many times. I've honestly never seen hot gel done like this before. It was sloppy, I was overcharged and she didn't even do the manicure part. I will never go back. read more

My friend and I came here often to do some clean up but we barely post a reviews but I've noticed ABC Nails do have a mid-low rating for whatever reason. I always chose Daisy to work on my nails cause she was the first one that did mine until now. She did great. It is a simple one but she has great customer services, she does trying to make me feel comfortable while in the shop. The atmosphere is really nice, everything neat. It feels like an elegant nail shop on the inside. In my opinion, a lot of people should try coming in to experience. They're not like any other nail specialists, where they complain on you or talk behind your back. read more

She is definitely the best for your pedicure needs!! She has great customer service and always takes care of my ingrown nails. Those can be painful but she has such a patience to remove them. I'm new to this part of the city and I have never had a regular nail lady nevertheless a regular nail salon. However, I was in need of a pedicure for an event this past Friday and every nail salon in the Hollywood/Koreatown area were only taking appointments. I came across this salon and decided to ask if they would take a walk-in and they said yes! I was so excited and relieved. I got a regular french tip pedicure for a decent price and I enjoyed it! Daisy did a great job and was extra gentle and very communicative regarding the length I wanted my nails. I also noticed she used brand new nail tools when working on my feet. The nail salons I would visit in the past never used new tools and I began to notice that my nails would break. A big plus is that, it's literally down the street from my home. That loyalty made my most recent visit all the more disappointing. I had a 10:50am appointment. The day before, Felicia texted asking if I could push to 11am. I said I'd try to rearrange my plans. She replied: "let's keep the 10:45." I managed to move things around (because if she was asking, I figured she was in need, and I wanted to help) and arrived at 10:57 -- 7 minutes late by the original booking, not 15. When I walked in, Felicia told me I was 15 minutes late. I explained I'd rearranged my schedule to accommodate her request. She shrugged and said "too bad, I already booked someone afterwards.". It wasn't until I was in the room that I checked the reminder email -- original appointment: 10:50. So by her own scheduler, I was 7 minutes late, not 15. Felicia eventually gave me an extra 5 minutes to make up for the mix-up, and I appreciated that. But the cold, dismissive way she started the appointment stayed with me. That's not how you treat someone who's followed you for 15 years. Part of why I see Felicia specifically -- and not one of those high-volume places with curtain walls and hospital beds for tables (you know the ones) -- is the whole experience. A facial should be calming and restorative, and Felicia's warmth has always been as much a part of that as her technique. When that warmth disappeared at the door, it colored everything that followed. The facial itself was top notch. Felicia is genuinely skilled, stays current on products and techniques, and can deliver a top-notch treatment in her sleep. I hope this was an off day, because the person that greeted me at the door was not the warm person that I've been loyal to for a decade and a half.

To my surprise, when I show up to my appointment, the receptionist tells me the sugarist wasn't there and they tried to call me to reschedule my appointment. I actually never received any calls, texts, or emails from them.The receptionist claimed they couldn't leave me a voicemail. I seriously doubt they ever tried to contact me to reschedule! There was no other sugarist who could wax me, the only option they gave me was to reschedule me for a different date. There's nothing ruder than wasting someone else's time! This could have easily been avoided and they could have retained a customer if they didn't drop the ball with communication.

The owners are great folks that I have gotten to know, along with their staff of nail technicians. During the onset of COVID -19, the owners followed and continue to follow all safety measures to ensure clients' safety. My favorite nail technician is Be. I had an amazing experience at ABC Nails! I went in for an acrylic manicure and gel pedicure, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, and they really took their time to make sure everything was perfect. My acrylic nails are flawless - the shape and color are exactly what I wanted. My friend and I decided last minute we wanted to do a girlfriend mani-pedi. We called several places before we found ABC nails. The place is large. The technicians are consummate. I loved the mani so much that I didn't even need polish. The pedi was thorough and beautiful. Kim did my signature pedicure, and the callus treatment was no joke: cheese grater, then coarse sponge, full heel-rescue operation. I just got a simple French gel manicure but within a few days, two of my nails broke. I called to see if they could help fix them but the manager got super defensive and blamed me for not getting acrylics. She even snapped at me and asked, "Well, what do you want from us?" in a really rude tone. I went in the next day, hoping things would go better but I was greeted with the same attitude from both the manager and another employee. The nail tech looked at my nails and started lecturing me about why I shouldn't have gotten gel, in a really condescending way. I brushed it off and agreed to the extra charge they mentioned. While fixing my nails, the manager put an extension on one and started filing the other one that was still breaking. I calmly asked, "Should we just cut this nail?" and out of nowhere, she started yelling at me and literally spitting while she spoke. She was shouting something like "NO, I'M GOING TO--" and basically forced her own plan without letting me finish. At that point, I was so overwhelmed and emotional I honestly almost cried. I've never felt that disrespected at a business before. The nails didn't even turn out that great but I was too scared and uncomfortable to say anything, so I just left. Please don't go here. It was truly a horrifying experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
