If you have CCTV footage, feel free to pull it up. You'll see I didn't disrespect anyone. I simply expressed my frustration & irritation of waiting long & not being told ahead of time you were short-staffed. Amy could've said that when I arrived but she didn't. My friend and I picked it on a whim while we were in k-town getting food. We had a wedding to go to and had a hard time finding a nail salon with availability for two on a Saturday. We called and they said they could accommodate and that's how we ended up at miyu. Here's what you do get... The nicest husband and wife tag-team that does your mani and pedi without rushing you out the door. A bottle of kirkland's finest water. Good advice about how to keep your nails lasting longer. A great mani and pedi for a reasonable price. I don't get my nails done very often, but the time I did, they cut my cuticles to clean them up. It made the mani look great, but when the cuticle grew out it always looks like my skin was shedding. The wife let me know that cutting the skin of the cuticle causes the skin to grow back and makes the mani not as clean looking after a couple days. I ended up getting a gel mani and regular pedi and two weeks later, they're still amazing. I might not necessarily find myself deliberately trekking to k-town just for a visit to the nail salon, but if I'm in the neighborhood I definitely will be back.

I contacted CINDY and requested a refund which she refused to do. While I cannot say with certainty what caused the infection, the experience raised serious concerns for me about sanitation practices. I was also unhappy with the pricing. I felt I was charged more than expected based on the services discussed, and I left feeling misled about the final cost. What was most troubling was what happened after I shared my experience. Instead of simply responding publicly, the owner contacted me directly multiple times through calls, texts, and voicemails regarding my review. The communications continued until I blocked the phone number. After I posted my review, the owner left a voicemail stating that she intended to post information and photos of me on TikTok and Instagram. I have attached a screenshot of the voicemail transcription with personal information redacted. The owner also publicly posted screenshots of our private communications. This review reflects my personal experience at this specific location. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business.

They only take cash which is understandable now that I see their work as they probably don't want credit card chargebacks. I had a powder dip manicure and literally the next day one of the nails peeled off. I went back that day to fix it and it chipped the following day, along with 3 other nails. Literally 3 days after my nails done and 4 chipped/peeled off nails. I asked for my money back $55 as I will need to go elsewhere to redo them and they said they don't provide refunds. WOULD DEFNITELY NOT RECOMMEND, they are TERRIBLE at nails!!
