Warning to anyone considering ABC Pest Control -- save yourself the frustration and the money. I paid a significant upfront fee for bait box installation, plus $88/month for refill service. For multiple consecutive months, I was charged in full for refills that were never completed. The bait boxes were buried under feet of snow, yet that didn't stop them from billing me as though the work had been done. When I called to question the charges, the technician who showed up admitted he had no idea where the boxes were located -- because he wasn't the one who installed them. He promised to return and handle it. He did come back. The boxes still weren't filled. This pattern repeated for several months: charges processed, service not rendered. When I contacted the company to request credits for the incomplete work, I was stonewalled. Month after month I was told someone would call me back. No one ever did. Instead of a resolution, I received a cancellation letter -- no phone call, no conversation, no accountability. This company has a clear playbook for handling customer complaints: ignore them long enough, then cut ties. Charging full price for work that wasn't done and then ghosting a paying customer when confronted about it is not just poor service -- it's dishonest business practice. I would not recommend ABC Pest Control to anyone. read more

We found hornets coming into the house. After making an appointment for the afternoon the technician showed up within ten minutes. Within an hour the process was complete along with directions and future suggestions. They also treated the whole house to prevent further penetration. Well done ABC!! read more

So knowledgeable and effective. I had a problem with carpenter ants 2 weeks after they sprayed the outside of our home. The ants were on the door and mostly dead but I didn't know what to do I called them for advice and they said we have a 30 day guarantee and they'll be back! We had a yellow jacket nest in one of the walls in our home. Benny and another lovely gentleman came over and fixed the problem very quickly. My husband and I are so happy that we have the service contract with ABC Pest, it is worth every penny. BE WARY, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED We have a planter for flowers at the end of our driveway. A technician hit it when backing in on his last visit. My husband repaired it so it was not a huge problem. I wanted to make the company aware so they would be more careful in future, so reported the issue to Christian the owner of ABC Pest Control in Kingston. I explained what had happened, and that I didn't want to get the technician in trouble, but if he could talk to him as I didn't want this incident to reoccur and possibly cause more damage. The next day we received a phone call, not from the owner but from the technician, who instead of apologizing to us became defensive and raised his voice while denying he hit it. I explained to this technician we noticed when we watered our plants and hadn't had any other vehicles in the drive since his visit. Although I am upset with a damaged planter, I am most disturbed by the fact that a business owner would not handle the issue with professionalism, and simply council his employee to be more careful when on customers' property, but instead told the technician who reported the problem and had him call us! Not only didn't the owner have the decency to apologize for the issue, but without any consideration for his customer, he sent a letter siding with the technician and discontinuing our service! read more

ABC Pestcontrol took care of my groundhogs! Captured the mama and 2 juveniles. They humanely re-homed them in same spot in area permitted so they have room to live and grow. ABC Pestcontrol went above and beyond. I didn't know what to expect when I hired them but they were responsive, fast and tried different things to get the litter and mama. Good luck to the critters - I felt horrible seeing them in the cages, but they will have a nice new area to roam. read more

I called the office for a mild infestation of camel crickets in my basement & garage. I left my number and very promptly my call was returned by Enrique who was very polite and knowledgeable. He set up an appointment and was at my house within 48 hours as promised and even arrived early so we could speak before I left for work. They just came to my home did a pest inspection in for a total of 10 minutes and said I didn't have bed bugs. They didn't even take cover or sheets off the bed in the main room where I sleep. I showed them signs on a pillowcase and they still said I didn't have any. I had ask them to look at the couches and they did that in 5 minutes. Then they charged me $100 for the inspection and for 4 small bed bug traps and asked me to make it a personal check rather than to the company. Do not use these guys! read more

Really great service! Christian called ahead of time to tell me he could get here earlier. When he arrived, he was very professional & courteous. Did not try force me into buying a service contract. Diagnosed the carpenter ant situation and eliminated the problem. Explained the "natural" spray used to eliminate the ants and explained how he would come back if necessary. I came across a large yellow jacket nest in my bushes while weeding. After being stung multiple times I called and left a message on their answering machine at 10pm on a Saturday night. Benny was at my house by 12pm on Sunday tackling a nest that was buried in dense evergreen bushes. Monday morning they came back found the nest and knocked it down, man was it BIG. I cannot thank Benny and his team enough for helping me out so quickly! It's very comforting to have a company treat you like family, rather than a name on a service ticket.
