I called around to get estimates. No place would come out to even do anything other than a diagnostic fee for nearly $100. Many people told me over the phone that they wouldn't give me an estimate, or rough guess would be $1500-$3000 to repair my issue. I had a corroded gas line from my meter into my home that was leaking. I called John this morning. He firstly told me it would only be a $45 diagnostic fee, and roughly $300 to repair. Not only did he do both of those parts, he did them much cheaper than many of the other companies I called. Then he even came the same day, at the time that was best for me. When he got to my home, he quickly saw the issue, and knew it would be a little more expensive than what I was describing. I didn't even send him any photos when I first called. He went to Lowes, got the needed pipe, and was back quickly. He completed the work, very thoroughly, and as cleanly as possible. Mind you, my issue resulted in a hole needing to be made on the inside of my home to access the gas line. He did the work, and only charged me $500, which is a fraction of what I probably would've paid with another company, and also probably would've had to wait a day or two for someone to come out. He's very knowledgable and seems to do good work. He's the owner, so his reputation is on the line. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a plumber! I will definitely use him again in the future as well. The gas company came out a short time later, tested the line for leaks, and did not find any, and turned the gas back on! I'm so glad I went with west Ashley plumbing, and not some big name brand.

We called another local plumber who had great lip service but never followed through or came back to do the estimate. When we reached back out, we were given a time frame of a few days. We called Plumb Easy and they were here in seriously less than an hour. They were able to fix the leak within the day, the toilet the following, and made a game plan for the others that they actually followed up with. I'm writing this today because we had a hot water heater start leaking early this morning. We immediately called Plumb Easy based on our previous positive experience and again they were here within the hour. We opted not to get an outdoor kitchen ( which I do love) after having one catch fire in a brand new home we had built in Texas. FYI, the fire was all due to bad installation from the outdoor kitchen people , but it scarred me emotionally enough to only have a grill I can push into the back yard in case of emergency. After being told by first responders that my house would have exploded shortly, I knew we would be ever vigilant should we do this again. Al looked over the area and where the hook up valve was located and offered us sooooo many better options than where the builder had put it. He really knew his business and we were confident that for safety and aesthetics he was exactly the man for the job. And boy was he. He removed the old hook up valve which was poorly installed to start with( yes, this is a new home) and moved it to a much better location with all new hoses, connections and everything else needed for the job. Talk about a difference. He also had every tool for the job so there was no running back and forth to the store or back to the business. That was really nice. Carson, his apprentice was also incredibly helpful and found the wire needed in the grill to hook up to the starter. We were afraid that Lowe's wouldn't get there for the delivery in time and we would have to pay for another service call, but they made it just as they were finishing! A job WELL done!! I asked if everything else checked out. He told us yes. He had gone upstairs and outside to the unit with his diagnostic tools. We bought the part from Lowe's. That was not the problem . Turns out it was the compressor. In my opinion ,this person did not have the experience to know the problem or to diagnose the problem correctly. Also, I was not given a receipt just told it would be charged to my credit card, 574 dollars. Also, I had to give out my cc info over the phone to the guy before he would even drive to my house. I called the company and told them what happened and I was very disappointed in their company and would not be recommending them ever. I choose this company because it is a 3 rd generation family owned AC company and has excellent reviews and recommendations .Advertising 100 percent satisfaction guarantee with each service. That is not what I got. They may have been good at some point in history but not today.Do not use this company.

Suggested a home surge protector and explained concisely what it would solve. Installed the surge protector and went the extra mile to troubleshoot the actual cause. He found loose wires in an outlet that were the problem and fixed it. He was obviously knowledgeable, efficient, and a nice man. I would highly recommend this company.
