Robbie; salesman lied said that he would be there first thing 8/18/26, 8am or before worker got there to go over things with installers. He nore workers arrived at the time set. Office called they had to help another client; so I'd need to wait until latest 11am. 11:30am I call office to find out were they are. Miss Linda, ( who lies too, didn't know it yet.) says she'll check call me back. Calls back 12pm; the guys on the way. But they didn't arrive until 1pm. No I'm expecting to be at least 8hrs. They get busy; nice, polite and respectful of property. 9pm they say all good and they'll pick up old AC unit tomorrow morning. Well 5am 8/19/26 the attic is colder than the home. Call service line, they'll come back out, didn't arrive until 1pm again home is still hot 7pm. They want to change thermostat to force system to work. ( We've also realized that damper wasn't opened the night prior. Which should've been checked before leaving. Home is cooler by 9pm, but can't reach temperatures by 5am 8/20/26. Still haven't picked up old unit. Now keep in mind that if wanted to cancel; needs to be done by 9/19/26. Spoke with Miss Linda again 8/20/26. Because this is horrible service. Linda reassured me that she's have someone else come out by 11am and for all the trouble she would sent a check for $550. It is now 9/3/26, haven't seen a check and they won't answer phone call or return messages. After 2hrs of the last service call the AC unit is actually working properly. Still have old unit, but some else will come pickup. Had to call for the next 2 days for someone to call back to schedule an appointment for someone to come pickup the unit that had always been outside. Lowe's really can pick a much much better company to partner with. I would not recommend A R S to anyone; enemy included. They provided the absolute worst service. Took a whole week in 90 plus degree days to install and fix issues. I won't call them for any other services they provide either, because how bad this process was and you can't trust them to tell the truth. They only want your money, they do not care beyond that. I have reached out multiple times to speak with management, besides Linda of course. But no one has returned my calls. I'm also plan to reach out to Lowe's as well. Anything be can do better than to work with ARS, they are as expensive as everyone else. Take my advice; spend your money somewhere else.

ARS service is excreble; even a one (1) Star rating is too generous…read more They serviced my HVAC last August. However, their Technician left several drops of what was likely freon on my hardwood floor immediately under the attic entrance to the HVAC unit. The freon drops could not be wiped off and penetrated the wood's polyurethane seal and even the stain itself, requiring extensive repair: sanding the hardwood down to the original wood grain, re-staining the floor and re-applying several new coats of polyurethane seal, costing over $500. I sought reimbursement of these expenses from ARS. I have made repeated attempts to resolve this but have not received even one return call. Specifically, I called their North Charleston office about this issue on September 8, 17, 22 and most recently, via a hand-delivered letter along with hard copy photos of the floor damage on October 8 to Seth, ARS' Quality Assurance Manager. Incredibly, my letter went unanswered, In November, I met with a ARS Manager exhibiting their services at the Lowe's in their Town Center. While he took copious notes of my problems, his vows to have senior management follow-up continue unfuflilled. It's been both futile and exhausting trying to get ARS to actually do the right thing. I'm out $500 for damage their installlers caused. I strongly encourage you to use others to avoid the same fate as me. David D. Isle of Palms
