Window screens would not stay in place or slide properly, the caulking was cracking and separating, there was paint damage, and they left dirt and debris around the openings. We repeatedly contacted them to fix these issues and only got an inspection visit at first, with no actual repairs. Because the work was clearly not completed in a workmanlike manner, we notified their finance company in writing and withheld payment in good faith based on the contractor's own contract terms, which tie payment to completion and passing final inspection. Instead of addressing the problems, USA Home Improvement apparently told the finance company the project was complete. That triggered a lien on our property, a charge‑off status on the account, and serious damage to my wife's credit, even though we had documented complaints and were actively trying to get the work finished. Only after all of this did USA Home Improvement finally come back and correct the issues so the job was acceptable. We are now trying to resolve the financing mess and repair the credit damage caused by their premature "completion" representation. In my opinion, their handling of this project was negligent and irresponsible, and I would not trust or hire this company again. As an ex roofing sales man and a business owner I would highly recommend going another direction. We will be consulting a lawyer and then state attorney general to seek damages after working with this contractor.

I had a problem with rollers of balcony glass sliding doors for a long time - they were too noisy, difficult to open/close, etc. I've made extensive research on TOP sliding glass doors repair companies in Maimi, FL area. As a result, based on my search outcomes I've contacted (Sunday at 9:00 PM !) the top (4.9/5.0 rating on Yelp) identified company -- Reliable Sliding Glass Door Repair company. Gil, the business owner immediately returned my call, understood my problem, scheduled a visit to repair the balcony glass sliding doors in my condo unit. Again, it was done on Sunday (!) after 9:00 PM (!). The team on experts (Gil and Dave - a very experienced handyman) arrived to my unit as scheduled. After only 1.5 hours of work my 25-year old two balcony glass sliding doors work like new ones. Just one example: - Before the repair, the noise produced by old rusty rollers was about 95-100 decibels -- it is an equivalent to a noise produced by freight train, or a heavy truck; - After the repair, the installed nylon rollers provide only about 20-25 decibel of noise now - it is an equivalent to very soft whisper. OUTSTANING JOB of HIGHEST QUALITY done! FANTASTIC OUTCOMES delivered by Gil and Dave in terms of obtained quality - no noise at all, very smooth and quit movement of sliding doors, effortless opening/closing (with one finger only).     This review is based solely on my personal experience and interaction with Prestige…read more My experience: When the windows were delivered on November 15, 2024, I was unable to reject the delivery as I was informed verbally, and they confirmed in writing, that the windows first "needed to be installed" before any inspection could take place. Per the contract terms, I was required to make the payments due at each stage -- including the delivery day payment, which brought my total paid to 90% of the $24,378.89 -- or face financial and legal consequences. FDACS public records: On March 2, 2026 I filed a consumer complaint with FDACS, State Consumer Mediator. Last week, on April 28, 2026, Prestige stated to the FDACS Mediator that I had: "inspected, accepted, paid for (in full), and permitted full installation of the product. No timely rejection occurred under the contract terms." BBB public record: However, 7 months earlier under the BBB complaint filed June 30, 2025, Prestige stated in a response on August 11, 2025: "When the client tried to 'reject the delivery', we called the manufacturer and they told us the windows had to be installed for them to look at them." I will now be taking the next legal step, supported by the detailed documentation I have compiled from Prestige's statements, responses and interactions over the past 18 months. My suggestion: Read the full complaints from the BBB (7/30/2025) and the FDACS (3/02/2026) which you can request to view at no cost. Based on the information in those documents and my experience, you can decide whether this is the right company for your project. In the meantime, see the photo of the windows that I get to look at every day, which shows four distinct multi colors (bright silver, light gray, medium gray and dark gray) visible from 30 feet away.
