The next day a woman called me and said the appointment would last longer, I explained how I was already calling late to work in order meet at the agreed time, she didn't care and asked if we could reschedule bcs that wasn't enough time, I asked why measuring 5 windows and one door would take longer than 1 hour and she said other factors were involved ( I'm assuming a sales pitch was in the works) I was surprised at how easily she took liberties with my time. Wow. What a company. I stopped by to explore options for replacing the impact windows and doors in my condo building in Aventura. The representative spent a lot of time talking, showing presentations, and bragging about all the high-rise projects the company supposedly completed. The first red flag came when I specifically asked about Kynar frame coating. Anyone who works with impact windows in South Florida should know what Kynar is, especially for properties near the ocean where it is often considered the premium finish option. The representative had no idea what I was talking about. So let me get this straight: you install windows and doors along the Florida coast, but you don't know what Kynar is? Despite that, we scheduled a measurement appointment for Monday. On Monday, I received a call asking to schedule the appointment for Tuesday. When I asked what happened to the Monday appointment, I was told they couldn't find it in their system. Then came the best part. After putting me on hold, the representative came back and informed me that they don't work on high floors because they don't know how to install windows and doors on the 18th floor. Seriously? Just days earlier, your own salesperson was showing me a portfolio full of high-rise buildings and condos that the company supposedly worked on. So which is it? Do you specialize in high-rises or do you not know how to work above a few floors? The entire experience was disorganized, unprofessional, and full of contradictions. If a company can't keep track of a scheduled appointment and can't give a consistent answer about the type of projects they handle, I can't imagine trusting them with a major window replacement project. The contract was signed in December 2023 and the installation was done on May 13, 2024. The delay was due to the city permits department and the delivery of the hurricane impact windows which come from outside the USA. The installation team did an excellent job and cleaned everything. Hired this company for roof replacement and used a PACE finance program. Since they are on the approved company list, we figured it was a safe bet. They were $3k more than other companies that came out to give us a quote but we were looking for quality work. After we got through all the HOA approvals etc, I was told they couldn't get the tile until May. At first they were very responsive, even their little minion Steve who scouts clients was calling nonstop trying to get our business. Once they finally started on our roof, it's been a nightmare. I keep getting excuses and a run around from Elizabeth and Gil. Phrases like "you have my word" have been used for the last 6 weeks when discussing completion. The roof is holding up 3 other projects and they have no sense of urgency. It's always something. First the tile was unavailable, then it got loaded but delivered to the wrong address, etc etc. it's always been something. My guess is that they over committed themselves, took on too many projects and not enough workers to complete them. It's been about 6 weeks and my roof still is incomplete. My neighbors had their roof complete in a weeks time so I know this project shouldn't take that long. This company is a mess. I don't recommend them to anyone. The roofers don't speak a lick of English so that creates more issues when they're actually working. Find another company for your roofing needs. They're unreliable, unresponsive, and will not complete your project in a timely fashion. Horrific company. Wish I could go back and hire someone else. They also left all their materials in my walkway until I made a stink about it and they came out and moved it. gave me pushback on timeframe for permits, inspections, completion etc. just awful. We got a brand new Rheem package unit from them in December. So many things the inspector didn't approve it took 4 months to get approval. Now the unit is freezing up and not working. The service tech, Junior, was great. But he said he thought it was some part in the unit. Did not add freon. House is at 86 degrees for 5 days now. Service says it will take at least 7 to 10 more days to get the part from Rheem and then they will schedule. No sympathy at all. Just an "oh, well" attitude. "That's just the way it is". read more

We live in Pembroke Pines FL and had two jobs done by this company. The windows was completed by the B team, who spent their time bickering amongst each other. Overall, it passed inspections and that is all this company cares about. Their team left us with more work and money needed to be done on the windows to be presentable. They didn't even bother to clean the adhesive residue or any of the debris from the windows. I'm still struggling to clean them properly (we have a 2 story home). Our Roof was done by a better team but they left us with an exposed metal flashing, as they say is per code. The code I don't disagree with but again, we are left with cleaning up the job to make it presentable. AT NO TIME, did anyone there tell us we would be left with exposed metal flashing that we would have to address after the fact. USAhi was generous enough too offer to quote us to add stucco to it. I just spent nearly $50,000 dollars with them.. 50!. They do not care about you once that inspection is passed. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone I know. Communication was also a challenge. Be prepared to follow up a lot, that seems to be the way to actually get them going.. calling/emailing/calling again. read more

Stay far away from this company. What they sell you and what you get are two different things. I was told that they do not sub contract their work out. They subcontract ALL of it out. I was promised windows installed in one day or could be a Friday Saturday and thar a large team of people would come. 3 guys came and it took them 4 days. I had to miss work. Not only was I lied to by the salesman, Phil, but also the manager Genevieve. Even when pressed for the truth they assured me that the install would be one day. I paid to have the doors painted myself bc I couldn't trust the painters would show on time We spent 30k on a solar system that cost them only 16k and my electric bill is just as high because they under estimated my usage. Instead of marking me happy and fixing the problem and adding a couple of panels to make me happy they continue to disappoint. They are not organized and will do anything to get you to sign the paperwork with RENEW so they get paid but do Nothing to ensure your happy. Originally installed our ac unit (which now I'm wondering if we got ripped off) so I contacted them once our unit stopped working . We needed to "replace blow motor and board" for $675!! Our unit is only 2 yrs old so parts should have been covered and this company tells us it's for labor and picking up the piece to deliver to us ?!! Initially said they would start on 12 October -Instead, delivered wrong windows/doors on that date and did not start until the next day -Disappeared for hours at a time and left 1 person working -Used wrong color caulking -Did extremely poor job with caulking. So many holes -Did not install door ramp threshold, as promised -Left one window incomplete with tape to cover the holes -Was supposed to return on 17 October to complete project. Called to say they would be late. Nobody showed up. -I did not get a call on Monday, and had to call USAHI. They eventually gave me a date of 28 October. -On 28 Oct workers show up and only partially complete the window. Said someone would show up at 4:30 to complete the job. No one showed. None of the other issues Louis was notified of on 20 October -On 29 Oct, I call to let Louis know. He said he would call me back, but did not. I called around 3:30 and he said he didn't call because he didn't want to give me an unsatisfactory answer. I explained that not calling is worse than calling with an unsatisfactory time. -Finally, he tells me someone would come around 4. -Workers return to fix the window, and do not fix anything else. -Dec 28th, my inspection was supposed to take place. I don't live in the area, so I took the day off. Nobody shows up or calls to say it's canceled. -Feb 26th (two months later), still no rescheduled appointment. Their excuse: "The installer didn't take good pictures." They didn't notice that two months ago? And why didn't you call to sat that, if that's the case? I am losing money. Until I get the inspection completed, my homeowners insurance is increased, and so is my mortgage as a result. This job could have been completed in 3 days, which is the timeline I was given. Absolutely the worst company out there... Please heed this warning and do not walk...RUN AWAY! I wish I had read something like this before I signed up. I had a horrible experience with new windows. Installation was done by subcontractors that were clueless. Not only could they not pass the inspection (they hid properly replacing bucks until the inspector was informed, drank on the job, didnt take proper pictures for the inspector) but they RUINED my home in the process. Windows were the wrong sizes, stucco around entire home was demolished, they covered rotten wood rather than replaced it (I HAVE PICTURES), ruined most all interior walls and drywall, got cement all over my pavers, broke my sprinkler system, broke a number of my gutters, damaged my marble floor, damaged my outside brick steps and the worst part --2 of the windows are leaking!!! They left us with a complete mess and caused a substantial amount of additional work and costs, despite what their salesman says...do not listen! I have had to bring in a number of contractors to make my home strong and sound as it was before they started. I spent over $50,000 and once they were paid they never came back. They said to compensate me I could keep the measly 10% balance and we could call it a day. Too bad the damage amounts to over $15,000! They still owe me parts and have not completed the punch list. Not only that, but they neglect to return calls and/or respond or come out. The responsibility should not be on the homeowner to pay and then beg for the work to be completed. They lie and steal...Prior to signed the contract they assured me all work is done in house. IT IS NOT. They are not roofers. They are not window installers. They are not AC professionals. They claim to be experts in all these fields but they farm every job out to installers that are not even licensed. Worst customer service ever. Who needs to spend $50k for windows that are leaking? After the next failed inspection they began sending 1-2 workers at a time to uninstall and reinstall (OMG really?!?!) a number of sliders. What was promised to be a 3-5 day job took over 9 months and is still not complete. First day, they covers a sofa, 2nd day they covers a hallway. but what happened with my refrigerator, microwave, computer, TVs, dinner table, food and suplies, clothes, baby chair, baby clothes? Dust flies and goes inside drawer and cabinets. I called the company, the first day to tell I have a 1 year old baby and I did not want any dust on her bed. They were very rude to me. As said before by others here on Yelp, the customer service STOPS when you are paid in full. My job was a simple job. A 1 bedroom condo. In the front, a door and 3 simple windows. In the back, one sliding glass door. $ 9000.00 I just wanted them replaced with impact windows and doors. I requested nothing out of the ordinary. 6 months later when they came to install, I noticed the front door opened in a different direction. Then the sliding glass door, opened in a different direction. I asked, why would they do this??? It was not what I wanted and it was plain and simple the way the original doors opened. I did not authorize any changes. Well the Salesman wrote up the order that way and that's what I got! They sent people here to try and fix it, but you can't fix it and now Im stuck with it! They never return your calls, you have to chase them! They finally offered me a credit on the balance due of $ 469.00. Horrible! Things were great till we signed the contract. We discussed every detail with our sales guy Eddie. Signed the contract. Engineer came out and measured the windows and doors to a more specific measurement. We ordered a 96" front door. Was charged additional for the larger size. When the engineer measured she measured our original size and that's what they ordered even though we requested the larger. I am told by the sales buy a story that the top window couldn't be the size we ordered. That they didn't know the door would come different than originally requested. This was all a lie. After many attempts telling the installer, sales guy Eddie, the service manager Luis and now the owner Gil that this is a mistake, they are telling me it was my fault, and they will not fix the mistake. Instead, they will provide me with a credit for the up charge for the larger door. The worst customer service! I had them set to complete a roof replacement. That is now canceled as I don't trust them to provide me with what I order. read more

We hired USA Home Improvement for a fairly large project to replace 5 bays of sliding glass doors with stationary glass windows. Everything they promised, was delivered, up until they were fully paid. That's when their service changed from great to non-responsive. There were a few items that needed to be corrected, a panel was defective, and some of the trim was not adhering to the glue. We paid USA every penny we owed them and after that, they treated us like we did not exist. My wife has been calling them and sending emails but they don't have the decency to even respond to her calls or emails. First, they claimed that they needed to order the part from the manufacturer, then after months of not hearing from them, my wife finally got through to them to only be told that the part was sent somewhere else. There was no indication that USA had been following up to find out why they did not get the part they ordered. It's now been several weeks again of frustration, we are leaving messages, and emails with no response. Predatory company! I bought an A/C from USA Home Improvement in 2019, and the darn thing broke in the middle of the summer 2020. What a disaster. I was under warranty, but they still charged me hundreds of dollars in all sorts of other fees and costs to do the repair to their faulty install. I also signed up for a service contract when I bought the new unit, and they refuse to show up for my free maintenance. They've rescheduled me 5 times now for my maintenance, and every time they have a dumb excuse about why they couldn't show up - literally one time the tech said "oh, I found a dog". Seriously. What GREAT customer service from everyone I spoke to every single time. Mr. Nir Peleg was my sales person and he was very professional and knowledgeable about all the products available. After I placed my order I was always informed of the progress ( since they take a few weeks to manufacture & ship) of the windows and doors . Once my installation date was established the installers finished faster than expected and made sure to clean up. Had no issues whatsoever with the inspection which was a few days after the installation date. Overall I have NO complaints, GREAT experience. read more

They rebuilt the plenum, 6 new vents & cleaned/deconed the air handler. I noticed the difference my first night. I had a newer ac system installed 8 years ago, but the duct work couldnt handle it. Louis came in knew exactly what needed to be done & gave me a great price. Ricardo busted his butt & lived in my attic for day & half. My wife found them through the "HomeAdvisor.com" app. I called in to get the estimate, The sales person came to the house and took the measurement and insisted me to come to the office to get the price. Their office was close to my work, so I visited their office. I felt like I was at a car dealership, they used all car salesman tactics. Owner and owner portage took me into their private office and promised everything in order for me to sign the contract. They also tried to sales a loan program to upgrade the entire house windows which I refused to accept when they start asking about my Social Security and personal information. Based on our conversation and sales person measurements, they knew it was an oversized window, but they still wrote on the front page of the contract a delivery time of 6 to 8 weeks. Once I signed the contract and gave them the deposit, they stop entertaining my phone call for almost two weeks. Upon sending them the written notice of cancelling the job if they don't provide any update, they came back with 12 to 14 weeks delivery time. The new delivery time was not acceptable to me, so I requested them to cancel the job and refund my deposit. Their response was to read the fine print of the contract which stated 3 day cancellation policy. They intentionally pass this time and change the term of the delivery to 12 to 14 weeks so I cannot cancel the contract. Now I am disputing these charges through my credit card company. read more

hi everyone my name is joel sanchez i never wrote a bad review in my life but this company made me feel otherwise.. had a brand new AC unit that never worked correctly since install after many attempts they have change multiple pieces of machinery until they found after 8 months of no AC that it was a txv valve also since piece took forever to come in they put a universal txv valve and never followed to put the manufactured txv valve... so the other day my motor blew of course because of the wear and tear of ac not working correctly for over a year until it gave out. i called usa improvement and kenneth immediately responded with its 1600 dollars to replace. my AC UNIT is only 2 years old so i have warranty for parts and proceeded to tell me is for labor we called another company i got the motor price was 800 dollars and it was covered under my warranty. kenneth also tried to drop price to 850 for labor just know it was all a scam i did not pay anywhere close to 1600 or even 850 for labor. stay away from this company until they fix their issues read more
