Upside: the building is really nice, there is a lot of parking, there are plenty of outlets in the qait Downside: it's pretty cold in there, there's no corner tv with the news on it like other government buildings, and there's no tacky paintings to give the waiting room life. But they did their job in a timely manner. That's all that really matters.

I had to stop in here to get some car registration stuff taken care of and I always go to Westwego because everything happens fast and I'm usually in and out within 15 minutes. This day was no exception- there were two people ahead of me at around noon and once I got to the counter my situation was handled and I was out there door. This is also where you come to get your driver's license renewed- it's probably the best place in the New Orleans area to go because there's never a line and you are taken care of with the quickness. Bonus points: the building is super easy to find, it has plenty of parking and it isn't just stuck in the middle of a neighborhood like the old one was.

I've been a resident of Kenner all but 3 yrs of my life so I am familiar with how they operate…read more Kenner is one of only 3 cities in the state that does not offer the 2-yr inspection sticker (known locally as a brake tag). In 1960 our fair state started requiring every vehicle to get inspected for safety reasons. New Orleans, Westwego, and Kenner already had inspection requirements in place prior to 1960 so they were able to keep their programs intact without having to adopt the new 2-yr option that became available last yr. The Kenner inspection station is easy breezy. The staff are really friendly and they make the process easy. Just a quick inspection of your insurance, registration, and driver's license to make sure everything is current and then a really quick check that everything is working good on your vehicle. After that you pay the $10 fee and wham bam you got a new sticker and are good to go for another year. Tip: I drive by this place often and the only times that I see it busy is during lunch time as peeps use their lunch break to get this done. Come anytime before or after the typical noon lunch hour and you will be in and out in 5-10 mins.

They move fast , she's direct and to the point, they value your time. I had to right a review because living in New Orleans , sometimes costumer service type jobs don't have the best people working on their behalf, well Wildrinh does her job and does it very well. I don't know ALOT about registration, tags, real Id. Etc but she makes it very easy, straightforward and stress free. Incredible job .
