However, after discussing the problem I was coming in for with the front office person, the person suggested I come in the next day. She considered the underlying health risks and the current situation knew it would be more detrimental to wait. Upon arriving to the appointment the next day, the staff were kind and respectful. They were efficient, friendly demeanors and all wearing smiles at 8:15 in the morning. Dr. Rockett himself was very professional and straightforward. I've been going to appointments for the past 8 weeks, and I kept trying to convince myself that everything was fine. In reality, I spent over $600 on appointments and special soles, but my feet did not get any better. Today was the breaking point. I was confirmed for an appointment, took some time off work, and drove 45 minutes out of my way. When I arrived, the staff had no record of my appointment and said my usual doctor was not even in the office (at any of the locations). They said they left a voicemail a few weeks ago stating they had to reschedule. I replayed the voicemail, and all it said was "I'm confirming your appointment for December 5th, but it will take place at the Friendswood office and not the Pearland office." I also received an email yesterday confirming the same appointment. Nice job trying to BS your way through that one. I then asked if there was another doctor I could see since I went out of my way to be here, and it was the staff's fault for the screw up. The receptionist said that the doctor was busy all day, but I could come back tomorrow to see my original doctor. I then told her to just forget it because I was never coming back. The receptionist then said a doctor would be able to see me today after all but it would just be a few minutes. What a miracle! Well it heal or is at 95% but it's healing incorrectly. My toe won't bend backwards toward me without hurting and when I place my foot on the ground flat footed the toe is barely touches.
