I found this clinic through my insurance and I called to make a new patient appointment. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and condescending. At first, she mumbled a greeting I couldn't understand, so I asked if this was the correct specialty doctor I was calling. To which she remained silent, so I said,"hello?" thinking the call was accidentally disconnected. I could still hear her breathing and background noise, so the call was still connected yet she said nothing and remained silent. I said hello again and asked if someone was still there to which she finally exasperatedly replied yes, this is the specialty clinic. It was insane to me how unprofessional this person acted toward a possible future patient. I decided not to go any further with making an appointment, told her that she was rude and hung up the phone. As a person who worked in the medical field for over 15+ years, I know that when you have poor office staff how it can jeopardize the integrity and success of that office. The front office are the first people to come in contact with your future patients, it's vital that those personnel understand how to utilize good customer service skills and always remain professional. Especially when it comes to answering a simple phone call and showing common decency/respect.

My kids have dual citizenship and most medical procedures are free to them in Mexico if they are conveniently there when those issues need to be met. Otherwise my 18 year old only likes me splurging on his Crab Legs. He had complained about his in-grown toe nail a few weeks ago and he had previously had it surgically removed in Mexico about 2 years ago. I told him I was taking him to the podiatrist. He insisted, "mommy, it's almost summer I can wait till I'm in MX." I am so thankful that he thinks about our needs the way he does, but we have insurance! Dr. Fein's office is very neatly kept, the check in process was simple without a ton of paper work, they are following Covid protocols. It did take a long time to get called back the first time, the follow up was much quicker. Dr. Fein was diligent and very hands on in the consult of my son's painful toe. He outlined the problem, and gave us several options, then thoroughly gave instruction on the care for each option. We were able to make an informed decision that better fit us. We chose a permanent fix. The procedure was done in office same day, but we were given the option to schedule the procedure on a different day to be better prepared. My son's toe is now doing well and I firmly believe he will not have any problems in the future. My responsibility in the procedure and Medications was just a few bucks over $200.00 and well worth it for my 18 year old to avoid any future discomfort.

Well it's time to check on my BIG TOE. I cracked it a year ago and I was told by another doctor to…read morejust to let it heal and it would be ok. Well it heal or is at 95% but it's healing incorrectly. My toe won't bend backwards toward me without hurting and when I place my foot on the ground flat footed the toe is barely touches. So I came here because it's always and I mean always crowded-I know that's not a good reason but it's a start. It's crowded now. Secondly the reviews online said that I maybe able to trust them. So I am here. Now my appointment is at 10a and no one has come out or even looked at the sign in list - it's a little after 10. Now I will say I was a little hesitant about visiting after making my reservation. The reason why is that the young lady I spoke to on the phone seemed to get irritated with me as she took my information. I finally get new patient paperwork for my 10am appointment at 10:19a. Pretty ticked about now...They finally saw me at about 10:47a. They are good people, I wished they would smile more. Now Dr. Cuza is cool, knows his stuff and a Doctor that I recommend.
