Bob was there within about 10 minutes. He first tried to start the car with an aux battery (successfully a couple of times) but the electrical system kept shutting down... so he tried to "save us the tow"... but it was needed - and much appreciated. This friendly, knowledgeable, family business takes pride in their work and it…read moreshows, I'm not a "leave the key and call me when it's done", guy, being blue collar journeyman 45yrs, and actually stood by and watched the fellows service this cranky, tricky to service CVT transmission (These have a filter hidden behind the drivers side wheel-tire and inner fender skirt that many trans shops don't know about, or just ignore as it is very difficult to access, TGT knew all about this, removed the wheel-tire, inner fender skirt then changed the filter! It is not a simple task, and the filter isn't even listed for this year and model vehicle at the dealership parts depts.They just knew it was there!). Being familiar with this trans. and the required service steps, it was a pleasant relief to watch these pros at work. They know their stuff, and It's great to know we have this fine resource in our rural community. Then I got the bill. It was below what I had expected, so Ieft a good tip.
