My roadside service picked up my truck (and was bringing it to Coast) but would not pick up my family. We were stranded, unable to user Uber, and no taxi services would go out to Gasquet. When Dan at Coast Auto Center found this out he sent Gary to drive out to pick us up and bring us to the shop. He arrived within 30 minutes and brought us to Brookings. They got us in a rental SUV at a very great rate ($30 a day) and got us back on our way very quickly. Our road trip to the redwoods was saved! The customer service was outstanding, but that is not all. They knew were kind of in a jam and that we needed the Durango fairly quickly. They could have over-charged us and there is not much we could have done about it, but they did not. The repair was done within 48 hours and the price was extremely good. We highly recommend Coast Auto Center, every person we interacted with was helpful and nice and our overall experience was great. Thanks Coast!

I called for an appointment and brought it to the Gentlemen there, I gave him my key. he started writing on a yellow repair invoice, as I was telling him my name, cell phone & the problem that I was having with my car battery also order an oil change. please call me when you have an estimate ready for me!. The next day he called saying that I need it a battery and he was going to order and the price was $200 plus his labor. I said great go ahead order the battery please and let me know when the car will be ready. 1 week went by and no car or call so I came over to check on the progress and it was ready to go but now the bill was $1784 apparently the oil change, new battery, clean throttle plate, & he said he had to spend time massaging the Excelerator cable that was sticking and it made it sound like it was running high. The owner, Mr. Laszlo Bernat immediatetly diagnosed the problem, gave us the possible ramifications, and provided a quote. The ordered part was delayed. Upon it's arriveal Mr. Bernat worked overtime to make repairs. Bill was under the estimate. We are more than satisfied, grateful, even.
