Great experience all around! I had just moved here from Calif. with my two dogs and did they ever leave a mess! After nine hours in the car, hair was everywhere and the smell was terrible. The owner himself came to my home and picked up the car. After a few hours, he returned the car in like new condition! And the price was truly reasonable. Best detail ever! Thanks!! read more

We specialize in washing and waxing your exterior, cleaning the interior from carpets to vents, shampooing the carpet and seats, cleaning the windows inside and out, dressing the dash, doors, side panels and instrument panel, cleaning the door jambs and even cleaning your childs car seat if you would like at no extra cost. And the best part is that everything is done by hand. Your vehicle isn't driven through a machine that will rub somebody elses dirt all over your paint job, potentially causing scratches that will need to be buffed out. And no machine can get into the places that a person can get to.

History

Established in 2009.

I started this business knowing that this town needed a place to take your car or truck for a detail done by somebody who would give it the attention it needed. It is located behind Quality Fast Lube & Oil on Railroad Ave, an oil change station that has been in business for several years. In the time I have had my shop open, I have had many return customers and developed a lot of great friendships.

When it comes to your car or truck, I am a perfectionist. When you bring it to my shop, while it's there it is the most important thing in the world to me, and your happiness at the end of the job means everything to me. You won't get a complete detail done in 30 minutes or less because I want to make sure nothing is missed. Your car or truck will be done right the first time. And with no hidden charges. The price you are quoted is the price you will pay.

If you are going to having work done on your vehicle, get a written estimate. I didn't…read more I took my car in for the first time to Brookings Automotive. The owner, James, diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate of $1500, possibly a bit more if there were problems (this amount was verified one month later, also in person). Two months, and many promises later, my car had still not been worked on. Finally, on May 26th James called and said that my car was ready and that it would cost $2,438. I asked "what happened to the $1500, plus a bit more". James said, "I don't remember telling you I could do it for $1500. I thought we agreed on $2000 ". I am not criticizing James' work. I take issue with his "memory" and his word. This senior citizen learned a valuable lesson and will be eating beans.

Kenny is truly outstanding. He recently detailed my Jeep, and the results exceeded my expectations. He performed both an interior and exterior cleanup, and now my Jeep looks better than when I first bought it. The soft top back window was cloudy, but Kenny managed to restore its clarity, making it perfectly see-through again. I had some mold buildup in the interior carpets, and he expertly removed it and treated the floor with an anti-mold agent. Kenny's expertise and knowledge in his craft are impressive.
