I was in a bind when i noticed my Generator wasn't working and I had the van rented a few days later. He was quick to commit to help me out. Showed up on time and diagnosed the issue. He wasn't able to fix it as my generator requires the van to be lifted to access it. He said since he wasn't able to fix it then and there he would not charge me. Prompt service. . We hand trouble priming the pump we never used in our 2 year old RV. We could get it to pump water from the winterizing hose but not from the tank. He reversed the water lines to our freshwater tank saying the manufacturer hand them placed improperly. Got our pump primed and working for the moment. The fix did not last. We called him the next day. He said we needed a new pump. After the new pump was installed, it didn't work either. He came back out a third time, refunded us for the pump and said that he inadvertently put the lines the same way that they were originally. He made a mistake. I'm ok with mistakes. I had called Abelz Mobile RV regarding the generator which wasn't wanting to start on an RV I just purchased. I was still trying to familiarize myself with my used RV purchase. The generator was working just fine until I refilled the propane tank and suddenly it wouldn't start anymore. I spoke with Raul who set up an appointment with me and came to my house that same day. He was prompt, on time with the set appointment and very kind. The whole time I was under the impression my generator ran off of the diesel fuel from the motor home, which I soon found was not the case. We found out the generator actually ran off liquid propane and the simple fix was just to open the propane gas tank valve and the generator started right up. Regardless of the service call out and Raul driving to my house to check out the problem on my generator, he refused payment as there was really no "repair work" he did. I was very grateful the problem was a simple fix. I appreciate his time, honesty and work ethic. I arrived at Campland by the Bay in Nov 2018 just as the rains started and quickly realized the biggest window in my Lance 1575 trailer had a leak--right over the bed! I left messages for several mobile RV repairmen and tried in vain to find a local repair shop to take it to. Raul happened to drive by as I was taping a plastic tarp over the window and stopped to ask me about it. He returned the next day (brief respite from the rain) to caulk the window and explain the issue that had caused the leak to me. I called him back to look at an issue with my heater--it would start up competely on it's own, the only way to stop it was to remove the fuse. Three other RV repair shops charged me one hour labor to look at it only to declare it was "working normally". Raul took everything apart (heater, A/C, control boards, etc. He even consulted Coleman on the phone to confirm schematics. Conclusion? Replaced furnace Universal Ignitor/Control Board and Coleman Mach thermostat as well as correct an incorrect wiring issue. The best thing? He worked with my extended warranty service company successfully and was able to obtain payment from them! We could not be more pleased with Raul's work, professionalism and rates. On a Saturday evening all power went out in our brand new travel trailer, after using the microwave (powered by an inverter). Without power there was no way to retract the slide out, so there was no way to get the trailer from the vineyard in Ramona to our house in La Mesa. Sunday morning I Googled, searching for an RV technician who might be willing to make an emergency visit to diagnose and fix the problem. I called about 10 companies.
