I didn't actually have Luis work on my pop-up tent trailer because he explained that it would probably run over $2000, but he took the time to explain to me why, and he seemed like a very forthright, honest guy. Part of me is hesitant to post this review because if word gets out about Luis, I'm afraid we'll lose our go-to guy... but I guess it's only fair to give kudos when they're due. We've used Luis for our seven mobile pet grooming trailers since around 2010 when he worked for another company & we were so relieved he stuck around when the other owner retired. RV work translates pretty well to other kinds of conversions & Luis has enough depth of knowledge on all aspects of our builds that we rarely need anyone else. We'll be having him do the custom work on our new fleet of vans, as well. Luis keeps busy and books out in advance, and it's hard to gauge exact arrival times when dealing with repairs that sometimes run long, but he's always done quality work and has gone out of his way to bail us out more times than I can count. He's really been invaluable to our business & I would recommend him to anyone for repairs, builds, and whatever custom work you need. read more

I love giving people the benefit of the doubt, but after a few obvious red flags, it's a clear indicator of what their intent is. I was introduced to Luis by himself while he was fixing my neighbors hot water heater, so when I too had a leaking hot water heater in my 5th wheel a few weeks later, I reached out as he was first available. Unfortunately after I secured the appt, my neighbor let me know the negative experience he had with Luis. Luis installed brand new hot water heater for them that only gets Luke warm. When my neighbor called him to ask him to come back out and take a look, he said he would charge and that new hot water heaters are that way now due to risk of scalding. The water is luke warm, not even close to hot. I kept the appt as I needed someone ASAP and when he came to my place 3/16 he was an hour late, no call or courtesy text. He also advised I'd need a new hot water heater, and would have to order and be back for install on 3/30. I asked to for the part and model info to do research to ensure reviews were good and would supply sufficient hot water, he gave me a bogus number which didn't show the actual part, and when I asked for clarity, he told me to call factory myself. He ignored my last text, was a no show to the appt today. I'm left high and dry with about a 2-3 week wait for someone else. It's a shame that he doesn't have enough integrity to communicate when late, or if he isn't up for the job, or doesn't wanna do it, just be a mature adult and say so. Big let down. I hired Luis to install my 4 lithium batteries, Renogy Solar Controller, and Renogy 2000 watt pure sine Inverter. He only installed one fuse attached to the inverter, he did not relocate the battery on off switch. So it doesn't turn off the power when in the off position. Rendering it useless. He also run any grounds in the entire system. He also used cable size 0/0 for the batteries which I've now learned was the incorrect gauge and he should have used 0/2. My 12 Volt system blew and required total replacement, which I've done myself and with the great help of Renogy Tech support I've redone my entire battery, inverter and controller setup to include proper fusing and breakers. I feel much safer Luis charged me $1540 for the install. Which was a waste of my money. Now is voicemail is full and I'm unable to reach him. I really trusted him. He seemed like a nice honest guy. He might be great with other tasks but I wouldn't hire him for electrical installations. For me I wouldn't recommend him. read more

Luis came out to my RV within 24 hours of contact to investigate a water leak. I appreciated that he was on-time and gave me a 15min heads up before arriving as I was at the pool with my family. He had obviously looked at leaks before and was methodical in his troubleshooting and found the problem in minutes. He showed me a video of the issue and described how he would fix it and what I needed to do to make sure everything dried out correctly. Luis seems like a busy guy. I now understand why. He arrived quite late but I was warned he was running behind etc. I was probably the last stop of the day for him too, so I get it. This is where notifying the customer as he did went a long way. I needed to have a expansion solar panel installed and he did so in no time at all. He proved to not need long to diagnose the two other issues I had with my motorhome as well. The backup camera was working intermittently and proved to be an easy fix for him. When he showed me the cause it is was obviously a poor design choice by the manufacturer. The weak water pressure issue was not as simple. He knew there was an adjustment to the water pump but even turning it up to max it was still not sufficient for the shower. He provided the specs so I can order a replacement. Hopefully he can carve out some time soon to replace it. read more

I met Luiz when I called him to fix a tankless water heater in my 2022 pace arrow 33d. The first time he came he look at heater , told me what was wrong and a new one ordered, install it and off we went. After returning from my trip the water heater stopped working so I called luiz to talk to him about other jobs and about the water heater not working. He showed up to our appointment (late half hour) looked at the water heater and got it working but this time something was bypassed, either a relay or something but working again....for 5 days and again stopped working. This time I called him again, set up another appointment and he never shows up, he called me an hour later to ask me if I was still home which I was but my phone was accidently taken by my wife in her car and had no way of communicating. Right away I call him next morning and never received a call back or explanation. The moral of this story is that you may have a good experience the first time, maybe the second time but eventually he will hang you out to dry with no service. Instead of waiting 3 weeks for a no-show or less than desirable outcomes, for now on I will look at reviews. You were warned! read more
