I'm sitting in my garage. One Abescape truck comes dramatically speeding down my street. I'm kinda like well that guys a jerk but oh well. But then here comes a 2nd truck right behind him doing the same thing. And then a 3rd and 4th! Crazy. 4 trucks full of these dudes speeding down residential streets with their company name and number right there for all to see. Just the kinda guys I want to apply a level of care to my home. Think I'm making this up Abescape? Where were your guys at Sunday 9/8 around 10:50 am? Yaupon and Texas plume in nw austin by chance? Exactly. Teach your people to behave with a modicum of respect out in polite society, if that's possible. read more

While passing a number of landscapers from Abescape Landscaping who were weed whacking in a very rocky median I heard a crack on my windshield. Being in a rush to return to work I wasn't sure what to do so I circled around to take photos of the scene and then quickly headed to work. I tried to contact the number on the truck but was unable to speak to anyone. This event occurred on a Thursday afternoon around the intersection of E Crystal Falls Pkwy and Highland Falls drive. Monday was a holiday. I searched on the web to find another contact number and was able to contact someone on Tuesday but was told that because I didn't report it to them it within 48 hours (i.e by Saturday), file a police report, or speak with anyone at the incident that they would be unable to pay for any damages... which is ridiculous because if I were trying to lie I could very well do that a month from now with the same crack and say they caused it. The vehicle is a brand new SUV and they must assume that I have the time to drive around looking to file a false report to have my windshield replaced. E Crystal Falls Pkwy is not a very busy road in the early afternoon. There is no reason why their workers can't stop what they're doing to wait for cars to pass before continuing their work especially in an area that is full of small rocks and stones (as you can see in the photos). That is what the landscapers in my neighborhood do (especially if they are in a rocky area!). Their failure to pause their work, is not only a bad business practice but a danger to passers by (thankfully my driver side window was not down). From the median where they were working a rock could have easily flown into my window and struck me in the head. I see that this is not the first complaint (i.e. See Eduardo Tadeo's comment) and wonder if there are more. While I realize that accidents happen, it is troubling that a company is, evidently, not training their workers to practice better safety when working in pubic spaces and it is also troubling that a company is not doing the respectable thing, which is to own up to the damage that they have caused. I wonder if there are others out there that have had a similar problems with this company. One of the employees I spoke with seemed to suggest that this has occurred more than a few times. I suggested to him, given the nature of their of business, that they should provide information on their website with proper notice to the public of their internal policies and procedures for such situations (especially given their public presence). He said he would bring that up to the company manager. While this may seem to be a small issue $500 here, $900 there, $1000 paid by passers by (and insurance companies) adds up over the years and if this company is not holding themselves accountable enough to incorporate better safety practices into their business... sadly, I guess it will take a person with their windows down cruising by on a cool Fall day to get hit by a stray rock for anyone to take notice. Very disappointed. I got an estimate for tree trimming and agreed to have the work done. It included trimming a palm by my pool and a dead tree that hung over my fence. First - they completely filled my pool with trimmings. Had to pay a pool guy to come clean out my pool - you'd think they'd give you a heads up, or at the very least, clean as they go. Second, they never finished the palm. There was a wasps nest in the tree and it seems these professional tree trimmers do not, you know, carry a can of wasp killer. Seems like something a tree trimmer would be able to handle. But, no, they asked me to kill the wasps. Secondly, they trimmed the dead tree back but just barely, if it fell it would still take out my fence. It took two days of phone calls to get it done right. Third, they left trash all over my yard, tree trimmings everywhere, broke my sprinkler trying to disconnect it to clean their tools, my pool skimmer trying to clean their mess, ect. Lastly, we agreed I'd kill the wasps and they'd call to reschedule my palm trimming. I killed the wasps and they never called. The only communication they've had with me is sending me a bill - full price for a job still not done. You are kidding me, right? read more

I needed an irrigation repair and tree trimming and pest control work done. First of all I called during business hours and left 6 detail messages. No one ever returned my call. Finally after 2 weeks of calling someone answered the phone and I was able to make an appointment for someone to come to my house to give me a quote. The man showed as scheduled on a Monday. He was very nice. He left me 3 quotes for 3 jobs. He told me someone would call me during the week to schedule the work to be done. I waited for 2 weeks no one ever called me!!! So I called around and found other companies to do the work for a lot less. To my surprise the repair they were going to do on the irrigation wasn't even correct. Their repair wouldn't have solved my problem at all. I still would have had a leak in my system. The other company I found located the problem elsewhere and fixed the leak. Finally after 3 weeks someone from Abescape called me back. By then I had all the work done correctly for a lot less money too!!! Beware if you hire this company. Their prices seem very high. Make sure you get quotes from other companies. I am so happy that I didn't have them do any of my work. read more

I had been using ABESCAPE for a few years and had been very pleased; however, in the last year or so their customer service and work ethic has declined greatly. Since they got an automated service they do not answer their phone and do not return messages. I had a couple of complaints due to worker's subpar work and I called and left messages; return calls were rare and not timely. It appeared to me that workers did not show pride in their work and there was not anyone supervising them. I finally decided to stop my service so I called and left messages letting them know. Not only did I NOT receive a call to follow up but to my surprise the workers continued to show up to do my yard. This was evidence to me that they were not listening to their messages. To this day I have not heard from anyone at ABESCAPE. read more

I had the best experience with this company I ask a question to one of their employees and he came to my house and check the problem with my sprinkler timer he told me he didn't know how to fix it but he will tell his boss with in 2 hours his boss was at my door checking the problem and fix it with in15 min.
