I did what we all do and hopped online to find the quickest fix possible. I stumbled upon Justin's yelp page and saw the rave reviews. I called him without hesitation. To my surprise he was able to come the next morning! I was filled with relief knowing I only had to make it one night through the unbearable heat. Later that night, however, the air seemed to be working again! Huzzah! I texted Justin that I no longer needed him. Upon waking at 5am, however, I realized the A/C had given me false hope and was broken once again. Later that morning I called Justin hoping he'd still be free. Not only was he free, but he was at my house within hours. Within 30 seconds of arriving Justin knew exactly what the issue was. He walked me through the steps I could take to prevent it from happening again and gave me tips on how to not get scammed by other contractors. Called Mike on Thursday to see if he could save my ancient (parts-discontinued) wall oven (50+…read moreyears) that was having trouble getting up to the correct temperature after I had replaced the dry rotted gaskets that fell off by piecing together similar ones since they no longer sell ones for my model. I could see that the door wasn't closing all the way but didn't know what to do. I need to squeeze a couple more years out of it since they don't make them narrow enough to fit in that wall anymore! Mike came out the same day (in torrential flooding rain,) said I actually did a great job with the gaskets and he was able to adjust the door hinges so that it closes properly now. I was able to make bread at 450 degrees that night with no problem, when it could barely reach 350 before he came. Someone else on here complained about having to pay a service call for something that took only a few minutes. Well, I was thrilled to do it because I appreciated his honesty and expertise which saved me THOUSANDS of dollars. And making a trip to someone's house for free doesn't put food on his table. He gave me a $10 discount since he wasn't there long. Very grateful! I'll definitely call Mike again if I need any other appliance repair. Thanks so much!

I needed a circuit board - he showed me the burn point on it - and told me he'd order the part. I was repeatedly updated on the part and when it was expected to be in. On that day, Grant was there bright and early, replaced the board and got my drying working in a remarkably short time. It could not have gone more smoothly. I will surely call Solar when my next appliance goes on the fritz and I highly recommend this business.

A tech Doug recommended an agitator which did not fix the problem, then rods which did not fix the problem and then the computer board which did not fix the problem. Kenny came with Doug to say the computer board was needed. Clothes were still wet. Then Steven a manager came and said we needed a belt which fixed the problem. We were not charged for the belt but paid hundreds of dollars for the 3 parts listed above that did nothing. Solar said a manager would review the case and get back to us. We never got to speak to Steven the manager only the person answering the phone(Liz). I was told Steven spoke to the techs that put in the parts that didn't help and was told I needed all 4 parts even though only the belt solved the problem. Of course the techs said the parts put in were necessary even though the clothes were still quite wet. Solar has changed a lot over the many years we have used them. They don't seem to care anymore. It's SO difficult reaching them( you have to speak to AI before you can speak to a human. This entire experience was horrible and the fact that Steven never got back to us is unacceptable. This is not a way to treat customers nor run a business. So sad that they could care less.

They were referred by the manufacturer, but the consistently screwed up scheduling and only wanted to know if service was covered by a warranty. Sent me invoices for Service dates where they never came to my home and then when confronted about it, they got disrespectful and said that because I did not want to do their job for them with the manufacturer that I was being rude. Could not and would not recommend.
