I bought a used scooter from a private party after I had an accident and it had some age issues (one being the start button fell off so I was stuck!!). I called them on a Wednesday and they picked it up and brought a loaner the same day. The following day, they had finished it and it was like brand new. I highly recommend them. If they don't have it, they'll find it!! Wish there were 10 stars!! I have just called for a push wheel chair as I have a Dr appointment but can't walk far enough to get to the Dr office. I was the one communicating with the owner, Doug, during the visit and he even texted me the receipt directly while I was standing there in the store. Within a day or two, around February 12th, we decided to cancel the order. From that point forward we spent weeks calling and trying to get a refund. On March 12th I texted Doug again regarding the refund. Screenshots of that conversation are included with this review. In those messages he discussed giving a partial refund and repeatedly asked that we remove the review. On Friday March 13th I personally went back to the store and picked up cash from Doug in the amount of $2,355. Even then the full amount was not refunded despite the order being cancelled almost immediately after the purchase. After I posted my original review about the experience, Doug began calling and texting me asking that I delete it. I have included screenshots of those communications so people can see exactly what was said. Doug also replied publicly to my previous review claiming that I was not a customer of the business. That is not accurate. I was present in the store during the purchase, communicated directly with Doug, received the receipt from him by text, and I was the one who returned to the store to collect the refund. I have also included screenshots of the original review that was removed. People rely on reviews when making important decisions, especially when purchasing medical equipment. Because of how this situation was handled and the communication afterward asking that the review be removed, I believe it is important to share my experience so others can make informed decisions. All of the statements in this review reflect my direct experience with this business and the communication I personally had with the owner. What a relief that was, the owner John Gunner box is also amazing, he has crippled from a former accident when he was young but; gets around better than most healthy people.
