I've received two hospital beds from Riverside Medical Supply, and every experience has been excellent. They always deliver fast and set everything up properly. When I was forced to move and couldn't take my bed with me, they replaced it quickly with a new one. I also got a wheelchair from them and they even provided a free seat cushion. They came out to service my bed when I couldn't reassemble it after moving it to another room. They're reliable, helpful, and genuinely great people. After trying another supplier for two weeks with no results, I asked to switch back--and Riverside Medical Supply had my bed delivered within days. I was in the area on business and noticed this medical supplies store, recently my mother fell due to a dog that was not on a leash like it was supposed to be, it didn't attack her but she got startled and fell down, resulting in her needing a surgery. She needed a walker so I decided to go in the store and found it to be well supplied with all sorts of walkers and canes. People there were very friendly and eager to help, couldn't decide which to get and ended up buying both a foldable cane and walker. Price was decent too. I was in need of a large capacity bedside commode for my elderly mother who had just been released home from skilled nursing. It was going to take 5-7 days for us to receive a standard bedside commode from the insurance carrier and we needed a large capacity, immediately. I found Riverside Medical Supply on Indiana through Google. The store had exactly what I needed and the price was reasonable as I compared it with Amazon whose products were of less quality. The commode was well built, very sturdy and could fold up to be compact when not needed. The owner and staff were so friendly, and showed me how to set up, use and fold up the commode. They also helped carry and load the commode in my car. I highly recommend them for their quality products, competitive pricing and great service! OK. So I am arriving at "old", unwilling and kicking and screaming. I must do something so I can keep up the ruse of still being supple. So here is my problem. Sleeping. Sleeping on a flat bed ain't fun anymore. Not that it is so bad at home. We bought some beautiful, adjustable frame beds a couple of years ago (Yep, yelped 'em. Look up Rem beds). But now the problem is, we are going on a long trip and will be the victimized by quite a variety of motel mattresses over a 3 week period. If I don't do something, I will be a complete wreck, tied in knots like a pretzel, by the time I make it home. So, both Mr. B and I decided we should try wedge pillows for our road trip. And not just any kind. You can find wedge pillows at your local Wedge Mart. Oh, sorry, Walmart. Or you can go online and find some super duper, gold plated ones (or should be for the price) and wait 8-10 days for shipping. Not my first choice. Both Mr. B and I preferred something with a good 12 inch rise, not real easy to find.....unless you have Riverside Medical Supply at your disposal. So, that's what we did. We trekked on in to their amazing yet small store and found exactly what we needed, and at a very competitive price. Bought them. Now, just so you know, with a name like Riverside Medical Supply, you can be sure there is far more than just wedge pillows. In fact their store is stocked full of assistive devices that I pray I will never need...walkers, scooters, canes, beds, lifts, support stockings, shower seats, and so on. They also have a small supply of decent looking specialty shoes, I am assuming for diabetics. An impressive collection of stock, plus the ability to order and have it shipped to you if they do not have exactly what you want. You will enjoy dealing with the delightful store owner.... whose name escapes me. Yet another sign of senility. Sigh. read more

Parking: Private lot, plenty of spaces. Location: Plaza location with several businesses. Standard medical supply store, oxygen is also available. Customer service was great, people were very nice and even replaced our oxygen after we had a problem. Very happy with the products and services provided, thank you. read more

I am recovering from covid19 & called for an oxygen concentrator to help with oxygen levels. They said I could rent or buy. I called the next day to rent gave my credit card info & Jamie said she would call me back to let me know the delivery charge. When she called me back she said I have to buy. People normally call to buy. Why offer to rent if this is what you were going to do to me & especially a time like this. Because I didn't have the thousands it cost to buy all of a sudden I can't rent. read more

I broke my foot in 3 places and I wanted to rent a knee scooter, but when I went to this store, a man that worked at Riverside medical supply kept making me get off and on the scooter to criticize how I was riding it. This man was quite stubborn and critical so I gave up and left their store and went to their competitors on Magnolia. read more

My daughter hurt her foot and as a busy parent i could not find the supply she needed. I called here after calling other locationsno one had the item in stock, here they had everything i needed and where able to answer all my questions. Poor quality product and horrible customer service. I purchase 2 wheelchair armrests for a friend. I installed 1 and it's plastic base broke in half 2 weeks later. I installed the second one and it's plastic base broke in half a month later. They refused to replace the armrests or refund the purchase. When I mentioned the poor quality the manger started yelling at me. It was weird because I never raised my voice at all. read more

Do not waste your time going here and buying anything. We went here yesterday to buy a walker from my grandmother. When we brought it home it didn't fit through the hallway to her bedroom. I called this morning snd spoke with an oder man (refused to give me his name). I explained the situation and asked if we could please bring the walker back. He accused me of being a lair and stated that he would come to her home and have to check for himself. When I told him she wasn't comfortable having someone she did know in her home he started yelling at md and treating me. I asked him to stop yelling at me and to conduct himself like a gentleman rather than a coward. He then told me Id have to do better than that. I told him since he was impossible to deal with Id drop off the walker and cancel the payment. He then threatened me to sue me in court. He worked him self up so much he just hung up on me. I called back and asked his name and his title and asked to speak with a manager or owner. He refused and said Do what you have to do because I am and hung up on me again. I have NEVER been spoken to so rudley or threatened by anyone like he did. I am Sooo Concerned for their customers because many of their customers are seniors. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. I am contacting the BBB to report this. Please BEWARE of the way this place conducts his business. read more
