Thank you DR. CLAYTON! My usual optometrist Dr. Bradley (who is excellent), wasn't available this visit so I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Clayton. He's a seasoned physician with excellent patient care and serves as the namesake for both optometric centers in Moreno Valley and Riverside. As the lead/mentor to all the other doctors, Dr. Clayton has a fantastic understanding of visual impairments big and small. The explanations I received during my recent check-up were easy to understand, he's very approachable. I came in for my annual visit and ordered my new hard contact lenses along with some back-up glasses. The frames selection was a bit weak. I spotted several glasses that seemed too old for my taste, so I settled for some aviator-style frames. I liked them enough to buy them! My visit was later in the day, however I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. I took my time asking questions and received great service. The Optometric Center is linked to Loma Linda University Health (although they're not owned by them), so the office was able to obtain my ophthalmology documents from my LLU physician. If you're looking for RGB lenses for keratoconus (which I have), this is the place to go! The Optometric Center is highly recommended! read more

This is a horrible place. My mom had an appointment, and we arrived early to make sure everything was okay. We have now been waiting for more than an hour, and they keep saying they only have two doctors available and that we are scheduled to see a specific doctor. Meanwhile, at least 8 people have gone in before us. What makes it even worse is that one patient who arrived after us without an appointment was seen before my mom, even though she had a scheduled appointment. When I asked the front desk why my mom still had not been called, the lady was very rude and unprofessional. She claimed those people were there before us, which was not true at all. Very disappointing experience and terrible customer service. Please don't come here. They do not respect people's time at all. read more

Unprofessional office and a rip off when it comes to purchasing contact lenses from their office. You have to purchase through an app called Marlo and I was charged $290 for a 6months supply which is price gouging and was mis lead to believe that was for a 12 months supply. I attempted to return the purchase to Marlo and was told the return has to be made through the drs office. Attempted to do so which was a very unpleasant experience. If you must go here, Suggest getting your prescription and shopping elsewhere where you can get a 12 months supply for $350 with $105 mail in rebates. read more

My family and I went in for eye exams and the staff was amazing from start to finish. I was stressed out with 3 little ones with me, two of which decided to cry and be a little disruptive, but the staff never batted an eye or made me feel like I was inconveniencing anyone. They were patient and caring towards my 3 year old who was a little nervous to have his first exam. Dr. Wright explained our prescriptions and showed us images of our eyes (something I've never experienced and I've been wearing glasses for almost 30 years lol). I've been coming to this location for over 10 yrs+. I have always had a good relationship with the doctors, dr Clayton and recently Dr Bradley. I have always had pleasant experiences with the ladies in the front office but in the past few years when you have to go to the back is when it becomes a problem. There are two ladies, the blonde ladies that are always very rude and lack basic customer service skills. I have been a few other places because I was ready to call it quits because of them but I like the care the Drs provide so I keep coming back but I think this may be the last. The staff in the back office are rude, they dont acknowledge you and they talk to each other like no one else can hear and they talk about people and patients right in front of everyone. Maybe they don't know that the office isn't that big and their voices carry. Last time I went in a man had questions about his insurance and they started talking to each other and was ignoring him. He got upset and asked to speak to only one person. Then when one person was helping him the others started talking about how rude he was like he was in the wrong! When I went in today I was not looking forward to it and again like many many times before they were talking about other customers in a negative way. One girl even made the comment that if they didn't like it they can go somewhere else. I'm not sure if the management is aware or if they choose to ignore their behavior but this will cause them to loose patients most likely me being one of them. Purchased $300 Prada eyeglass frames that broke perfectly in the center of the frame after 5 months. I went back to this place and asked the boss lady in the back if there was any warranty. She kindly stated that there was not. On my own, I reached out to Prada (Luxottica) and was informed the frames are under warranty. They offered a replacement and sent me a shipping label. I returned to the office and informed the boss lady that she might want to be aware that Prada does offer a warranty. She replied that they do offer a warranty in the 1st year. I told her that last week she never informed me of that when I came in. She said "I'm sorry". All I could think was WTF. I need these glasses as they are my readers and had I not done my own research I would be up the creek and out of $300. I depend on my providers to know these things, yet she steered me wrong. Long review alert : Let me start off by saying I've been coming here for over 20 years. I'm from the era with Dr.Ragsdell and Rose . Before Dr. Clayton joined the team. I love this company and I've continued care here as an adult because I love the service. Fast forward I came here last month and found out my insurance had cancelled me ( due to an error w| my current employer). I asked Noemi Why I was not informed prior to my appointment. She snapped back saying " I'm telling you now" I thought that was extremely rude. She lacks customer service , she doesn't answer questions in a respectable manner and she completely disregards what I am saying when I speak . I let it slide I didn't say anything I proceeded with my sons appointment. Fast forward to my appointment in which I had to reschedule once my job updated my insurance info. I was 9 minutes late to my appointment. As long as I have came here I was always told I get a 15 minute grace period. I actually called and said I was running late and was told to still come and that it was ok. Since Noemi is the first person of contact ( so unfortunate) I initially spoke with her. She then proceeds to tell me the appointment after me checked in already and I would have to be after them ( 2 people) I asked her why? She proceeds to tell me " because your late and they were here first " I told her that I called and was informed of a grace period . She then tells me there is no grace period when they are fully booked" She was very argumentative and I just did not want to argue because if that's the case I should have been told that over the phone . I sat down and attempted to wait. After an hour I realized I had still not been called and had another obligation I had to get to. I got up and asked her how much longer it would be she replied " When the two people that came before you are finished" I couldn't believe how she was talking to me. I couldn't believe none of her peers stepped in and corrected her or tried to help in a more professional manner or try to smooth things over with me. It was completely baffling. If it wasn't for Dr. Clayton I would NEVER come back here. Ok I was late but to be treated with such disrespect is completely uncalled for. I'm giving a 3 star for the history I have with this business . But if I had to rate this woman it would be a 1 star. She is the worst. She lacks empathy and has absolutely terrible customer service . Customers should be able to ask questions without the employee being so defensive. We have that right . God bless this woman she may be going through something and this is the only reason I remained calm and kept my composure. Ok so I'm glad I'm not the only one on the rude workers haha I was skeptical to say something but most of the women are lowkey rude. Got there first in line but somehow the person that had the later appointment went first even with me having submitted my papers first and was told it was my papers that "came in later" but then admitted she wanted to serve her first and she said "no one has ever got served first upon immediately walk in" was interrupting when I spoke (it was the woman taking the exam in the entrance of the office) Most of the staff is cool there's probably about 2 bimbos that are rude, have no built communication skills, lack customer service bad. It really brings down the environment when u have women acting/working like that. If ur expecting an appointment JUST KNOW the next person behind u will be served first regardless if u get there before the next client/finish ur paperwork. The person in the back was also kinda passive aggressive while getting my recept bc i accidentally pressed something on the ipad that had to do with delining a recpt but she was able to pull it up in the system in 3 seconds but she was just kinda passive aggressive when making a comment as to why she needed it. Overall, everyone else was amazing HELPFUL and had POSITIVE ENERGY.some of the staff definitely needs customer service training. Other than that I love this spot they help out w almost anything eye related and are at a reasonable price and they also take insurance. read more

Being called back the staff was very warming, kind, accommodating and knowledgeable along with Doctor C who is very personable. Also ensured I had the most comfortable contacts for my eyes. Since I wear both glasses and contacts. I would've given 5 stars, however when searching for a new set of glasses. There were three woman at their desk in the back that didn't offer once a lending hand or asked if I had any questions. When I did ask a question it was as if I was a burden to their day. I've been going to this facility for a few years now for my annual eye exams, and I have received phenomenal service every single time. The wait time has never exceeded 20 minutes, even on the seemingly busier days. Everyone is prompt, professional, welcoming, and polite. I have seen Dr. Clayton and Dr. Bradley and they are both fantastic. They are very knowledgeable and they actually make you feel comfortable, almost like you're family! I have yet to come across doctors who are just as (if not more) professional, yet very friendly and warm. Even when I move back to Orange County I will definitely be coming back here. read more

My family and I have been a patient of Dr. Ragsdale for more than 15 years. He recently retired and I've been seeing Dr. Clayton here for couple of years now; so far, I'm pleased with his work and bedside manners. Just because this is a new location, doesn't mean it is better than the old one. It's just bigger. As far as the cleanliness and overall look/feel of this facility... well, for the last 15 yrs., they've always maintain a clean and comfortable setting with clean and updated equipments. This facility also offers a wide range of eye wear or frames. They carry brand name frames like Oakley, Rayban, Harley Davison, Gucci, Versace, Ralph Lauren and etc, but they also carry inexpensive generic frames. In case you can't find what you're looking for in their display, they also have special order catalog. Another plus here are their timely delivery of your eye wear. Two weeks means 2 weeks or sooner, never later. Office staffs are consistenly friendly and accommodating. Due to my work schedule, I often request for the last appt. of the day; which at times, I still come a bit late. So far, they seem understanding and takes me in without issues. I was also accommodated once or twice for a request of a same day appt. The eye wear department also cleans, fixed and adjusted all my eye glasses for free of charge all throughout the years, even at those times when I did not have eye insurance. We have been going here for years. Dr. Clayton has the BEST staff anywhere. They acknowledge you with a smile as soon as you walk in and make you feel welcomed. Dr. Clayton is awesome and does a very thorough job. The back office is also very helpful. They assist you in picking out your frames and letting you know what your insurance covers. I was referred here by NVISION in Newport Beach for all my pre-op and post-op LASIK appointments since it's closer to home, and I am so glad they brought me here! I used to go to Inland Eye Specialists in Murrieta, but I may make a change to come here from now on! The service here is FAST. I have never waited here longer than 15 minutes. Honestly they seem like they just wing it on prescriptions I went for contacts and they were trying to send me home wearing contacts that I couldn't see in. I just went to get a second eye exam elsewhere after they checked my glasses and my eyes, the glasses(I got from them months back) weren't anywhere close to my correct prescription. read more

I have been going to them for several years but this year got no help when trying to pick out a frame and not thinking until after I picked them up and paid for the glasses did I stop to think I paid more for the glasses I got then the prior pair which was designer and had more stuff added such as transition on the lenses. When I called to ask them to explain the bill the girl was rude and told me to call my insurance to confirm what they pay. I don't doubt my insurance it is how they came up with the pricing. I had referred someone from my office to go there but will now tell her not to. 2nd visist, rude unwelcoming and unformative. Came in as in an emergency just to repair the frame, took about two weeks to get them back. They must of had a long day today because when i asked what to do as this was just the second time id been here they said go to the back after i waited for someone to acknowledge me i walked to one of the ladies asked what to do, i was here to pick up my sons glasses and was told i needed to sign in with out her even looking at me as if she had too much to do to properly greet. Once it was our turn, glasses were for my son, i asked the lady that was helping me to price quote me some other glasses my son had seen, she said oh honey they are 149 for frame plus 79 lens so they are not cheap. Like wow ok what uf i wanted to buy them, so im finally done time to get a receipt, printer wasnt working properly so i asked for this girl for a clean print and after she rolled her eyes she walked to the front as if she was bothered i had asked for a clear print and now she had to leave her desk she gives me the receipt i said thank you not even a hope to see you back or anything else i can help you with.... i have an optometrist they are in corona and yes its worth the drive because they are welcoming and helpful! read more
