First time out, spends 3 hrs getting pump pulled out and then determines its burned up.. sets up a temporary sump pump and they charge us 650 DOLLARS AN HOUR for 3 hrs of work. Mind you, we spent hours prepping it before their arrival to make things easier.. they even commented on how "nice" that was. Returns back 2 days later and installs new pump. Charges us $2,000.00 dollars for new pump that can be found for $1,000.00. 24 hrs later, the new pump burns up because they did not flush the house... Then tells us we were "lucky" that the new pump was under warranty. Replaces with another the next day and charges us an additional 1800 dollars.. During this time, hot water heater goes out but are able to replace with a new warranty water heater. Final bill $12,000.00.. to replace a warrantied water heater and shorted grinder pump, twice.. after they messed it up the second time. A bid was never given and we just assumed they were decent people and would charge a standard master plumbing hourly fee. Find another plumber, these guys will screw you.

Had them out couple weeks ago & they said the AC had leaks in the coil & leaked out the freon. They charged the freon but said they couldn't fix the leaks the whole coil needed to be replaced. All the freon they added leaked out. Had another company out & the guy showed me the large leak in the coil. He welded it, pressured the line charged it back etc without a $3000 new coil plus labor bill. I'm very confused if these guys I've used for years didn't know how to fix the problem or what? I liked them & the service every other time (prob 4 other calls for annual servicing etc). So use them for easy fixes I guess.

I told him (Edgar Rangel) what the problem was. He said he would come out the next day and give me a FREE estimate. I did select him because he is in my area. He said it might be the toilet or the drain. He showed up the next day, Saturday, on time. After just a couple of flushes, he knew it wasn't the toilet. Told me he would get the small wire thing, snake? Try that. Told me that would cost $100. He could do it right then. That was great and a very fair price. It was then or come back sometime Monday. Told me it would only take about 15 minutes. He got the toilet to flush much better but explained that there seemed to be something there causing the snake not to easily be fed past the P-trap. Mr. Rangel than told me prices to expect if this happened again. Sometimes the toilet is just incorrectly mounted. Since I'd had guys out here replacing floors & had to pull the toilet, that's a possibility. Or he would need to get a bigger snake. That needs the toilet to be pulled also. Quotes for each. It was all I could do to keep my jaw off the floor. Again, very fair prices if I needed him again. This is a very nice man. While he was there, I asked him about my hot water heater. If it should be replaced because it was 9 years old. Wow! He told me a price range but better than that, suggested I go to a Lowe's or Home Depot & buy a hot water heater alarm. I had no idea that existed. And he showed me the steps to turn off the water AND power to my electric water heater. He shows up in a well-marked company van. I felt comfortable inviting him into my house. He sounds almost too good to be true but he's the real deal.

The city stopped work on my home because of the plumbing issues and I had to hire new plumbers that used the correct piping materials and properly installed/moved the pipes.
