Sir-I don't want to go back and forth about this issue on this forum. I had placed an order upwards of 25k. 1.My builder came to you with these 3 items and very clearly told you that the finish/sheen of these light fixtures is very different from the sheen of the faucets.We could have accepted a slight shade variation but this was way off.The fixtures were mostly unopened except to take a peek at the finish.At this point,you should have accepted it as all products that have not been opened or altered with in any way can be returned for a refund.But you refused to do that. 2.There were no more returns other than this.We had a tentative list of fixtures to be ordered but we had to cancel them because they were backordered and our house inspection was due in 3 weeks. I was going to order more fixtures in future but sadly I have lost trust in doing any business with you.You have to build a long term relationship with a customer.Sadly,that did not happen in my case. read more

Came into showroom, seemed like a well put together place. We did end up purchasing two outdoor lights and a Chandelier from them. Initial interactions were pleasant and helpful. Then things got interesting. Initially I thought it was odd that everything we looked at was not available rather had to be ordered. We still went ahead and ordered because we liked what we found. We get their recommended Electricians name and number. We give him a call and he was "chippy" to say the least. Bad attitude and extremely expensive. So, no go with that guy. We get home, wait THREE weeks for the lights to come in. No one calls us to let us know they had been sitting at the store for a few days. We go and pick up the lights and that friendly helpful polite staff turned into matter of fact and rude. We get them home and realize the chandelier by our own fault is the wrong color. Then it gets more interesting. We call to ask about swapping and it was pretty much extra crappy attitudes from here on out. They sure took our $900 in cash when we came in to pay. Now they are saying they can do the refund but have to give us a check and of course nothing is in stock so no way to simply swap. We get the check and the manager just kept trying to "school" us on how we were planning to install the chandelier all wrong and how we are not doing it up to code even thought that is how it is currently ran and hung and passed a recent home inspection when we brought the home. This is a case of stay in your lane and know what you are talking about. Maybe you are right maybe you are wrong...but selling lights does not require you to bombard a customer on these things, it wasn't like a "hey by the way, be careful or cautious doing it that way." It was way over the top and then to be rude and have attitudes is unnecessary and then to not even have $455 in your drawer to give us on a Friday afternoon is ridiculous. AVOID! They are super friendly and helpful until they get your money and then watch out. No customer service from that point forward, zero professionalism and add it mother / daughter attitudes on top of it. AVOID! read more

Echoing service issues noted by others. Our first impressions: Custom home builder referred, and so we sought out this small store located in a not-so-great neighborhood. Some reasonably good inventory, with younger folks sitting around - on several visits' experience, most seem there to do some unknown admin work and were unable to answer basic questions on products, pricing and availability. Only one or two more experienced were able to do basic sales, product info. Our next impressions and experience: Owner was unavailable for meeting over the course of several visits and three weeks; so, we went with products recommended and parts specified by her sales staff. Several weeks to order, not great price point. Eight weeks after moving in electrician still cannot get lights to function, and owner, finally available after repeated failed attempts to get lights working, claims that we should have talked to her (note: count on sales reps at your risk) and no responsibility ('you're not our customer [the builder] is'). In any case, she is right, we are not, and will not be, their customer. Better options, inventory and service to be had elsewhere in north Dallas than we experienced at Lighting, Etc. read more

Couldn't be more pleased with my experience here. I went in thinking they'd have a great selection of quality lights (which they do) but that I'd be paying a lot for that high quality... I was wrong! Unfortunately, after spending thousands of dollars with Kay and company and being abruptly told that after barely two years they do not stand behind their products or installation, I have to give this company a very negative review. Go somewhere else. My builder recommended them and while at first I was very happy with the many products I purchased, and the initial installation, one lousy fan stopped working - twice - and after the second time (again, we just installed it in May 2017) Kay totally blew us off and said "we only do installations and after a year we don't do repairs so go hire an electrician". After the fan already stopped working within the first year so obviously was defective from the start. Very disappointing and again, there are many other options in the DFW area and I would strongly recommend you find another place for your lighting needs. read more

They really listened to us in terms of what we were looking for and the price point we were staying in. We were able to send them videos of our space so they got a good idea of where we were working. my wife and I ordered a light only after being told it would take a two weeks to come in. After 15 days, I called to inquire on the status. I was told they would have to check with the supplier and would be called back, which nobody ever did. Between my wife and I, we called a total of 6 times hearing the same thing and again never being called back. Finally, I said I wanted my money back and the response I received was "ok", no I'm sorry or anything! Never again will I shop at this store! read more
