I would give them a minus rating if there was one! I met with the owner, Ron Zotovich, and he provided a proposal that I approved. They were supposed to come to remove and replace my old gutters. They did not show up the day they were to do job. They came another day but they just removed my old gutters. I was told they would be back the following Monday. They never showed up and no phone call. I called them and left two messages. No response for over three weeks and still no gutters and no response. And to make it worse, I had no gutters during the recent rain storms and more rain to come this week. What a horrible company! Now I have to start over on finding another company. read more

Ron and Richard displayed the utmost in their commitment and integrity. I called them and asked for a quote on a semi small job and they immediately scheduled an estimate visit. From their very first comments it became very clear that they were experts in their field. Upon agreeing to the scope of work along with a price I told them that because this was a smaller job that I was comfortable if they had an existing job near by to just give me a call and come by. That was on a Friday morning and by Monday mid day Richard was able to stop by and complete the job with excellent results. These guys were "recommended" by Home Advisor because of their "great ratings" and service. I should have checked the Yelp reviews because the rating that they have is accurate. I had an appointment scheduled with them and they rescheduled at the last minute. I called ( went to an answering machine) and left a message to call so we can coordinate a new time and date. I did not receive a call back. Then I get a automatic email from Home Advisor letting me know that they were coming today at noon. This is without clearing the appt. with me. Called them back again and got the answering machine again. I never got a call back from my 2 messages and they never showed up for the appointment that they jammed on me. Moral of the story: don't use this company and the Yelp reviews are so much more accurate than Angi and Home Advisor. read more

I wish I had read the reviews on Yelp before I hired this company. I would have gone with someone else. This is a family owned business and the father does the estimates. He was lost - didn't have GPS on his phone. He gave me an estimate that included the building of a French drain - he explained the whole process to me and when the installers came out, they said - Oh no, we don't do that. I pointed to it on the work order and they just shrugged their shoulders. I had to call them for the estimate, twice, because they didn't return my call. The installers were supposed to be here between 9 and 9:30. At 9:40, I called and asked for an ETA. What I got was - oh yea, I was going to call you. One of our guys called out, we had to reshuffle the schedule. Which is understandable, but that fact that I had to call THEM, is unacceptable to me. And the clincher on this - CASH or CHECK ONLY. The absolute worst company I've ever worked with. Ron was the sales rep that I dealt with who was nice in the quote process but as soon as I gave him the business he was completely unprofessional. They didn't show up when Ron said they would more than 5 times. They dragged out my job so long it cost me so much heart burn with my customer. When they didn't show up they wouldn't call, I'd have to call to get a rude response from Ron. He even threatened to postpone my job because I called him too often because they didn't show up. I selected Able Rain Gutter from an assortment of providers through Home Advisor. The salesman was prompt and courteous and then the troubles began. Successive delays in getting the project started and impossible to contact them unless you get lucky and someone actually answers the phone. They mis-measured so the job had to be completed in two phases days apart. A few days after the job was finally completed I discovered one section leaked at both ends of the gutter run. I contacted Ron and he assured me it was a warranty that would be corrected. It's now two weeks since that conversation. Wendy promised me I was on the schedule for yesterday and predictably no one showed up, they did not respond to my SMS message or email. Beware! The installation went well but we experienced a leak several weeks after and have tried to contact Able to resolve the issue. Usually they don't return our calls or email and when they have it's always some excuse given that they can't send anyone out to assess the problem. Don't even bother calling. I called two weeks ago. A lady answered the phone and we made an appointment for this past Saturday. She said she would call me later that day to confirm a price quote. She never called. Two days later I called, there was no answer and the voicemail was full. Over the next two weeks, in anticipation of my upcoming appointment and still needing to know the price, I called SIX times. Every time it was the answering machine and "voicemail full". When it gave me an option to send a text for a return phone call, I did. Twice. No return call. The Saturday of my appointment came and went. Of course, they never showed. This company has been hired to install rain gutters on my building in Anaheim (Stadium Lofts). They are over two months behind schedule. The building is huge with many units (over 100) However, there is no reason they should be this behind. We were given a revised schedule of when to expect them to install the gutters on my part of the building after they were over 6 weeks behind. The scheduled window of time has come and gone again and they have not even started on my side of the building. We were told to move plants away from the railing so they have safe and easy access while on their ladders. I am not moving my plants again until I see them outside my window. There is no reason they should be this behind. I see one or two workers a couple of times per week. One would think they would send more people due to the fact that they are horribly behind schedule. We had a downspout come loose from the second-story gutter right next to our front porch. These folks did everything right. Wendy answered the phone and scheduled a visit by Kevin for the next day. He looked at our problem and made suggestions to improve the original downspout routing, including a color choice that matches our house. I have been a business owner for many years and I am a very reasonable considerate customer. I had the worst experience with Ron of able rain gutters! Ron is a lying thief! He needs to rename his company "UNABLE" rain gutters! I paid over $800 to have my gutters cleaned only to discover when they left my entire front gutter was filled with roots and water. I called Ron out to come look at it and he did come and he promised me he would take care of it promptly. I have called him once a week for 4 months and he continues to promise he is coming "tomorrow". He is clearly never coming. He yells at me many times when I ask him very nicely to finish his job. Sadly, I will now have to take him to court as my gutters are filled with rain water and damaging my entire facia board on my home. Ron does not care about his work and will LIE TO YOU for as long as it takes for you to go away! Please save yourself heart ache and DO NOT HIRE this company.
