The timing was awful as I was set to start driving to Boston right after work for my daughter's wedding. Not only did they take me right away, but they were able to replace both break lines before my shift ended. I can only imagine how disruptive it was to their schedule. They could have charged me triple what they actually did and I would have happily paid. It would still have been cheaper than two plane tickets and a rental car with less than 24 hours notice. Came time to drop vehicle in drive way and I was informed that I needed to pay first. Said ok and gave my debit card. As the driver is about to process he stops and says that the total is $260.00!! I said what - felt bad for driver and I understand he is just the messenger. Told him to wait I wanted to call in and discuss this first. I speak to a man who was so RUDE and he informed me that it is $4.00 a mile from where the driver is at the time and the driver was way out town somewhere. I said that was not explained at the time I scheduled, and he said **** you and hung up on me. Went back out side and now driver is on phone with the office and he informs me that they will not take debit now - I had to pay cash or zelle to the owners account. Driver asks if he can sit down - he was just completely crushed! He stated he can not do this anymore people are always so mad and him and he is afraid he is going to run into the wrong person and get his *** beat! He ended up dropping our car in the drive and drove back to the shop and quit his job!!
