I can't give this company any stars when I've possibly given them 1k for a repair that I may have not even needed but, I had to give a star in order to post my review. I was there initially to get my rotors and pads replaced. I'd been hearing some noise on the rear drivers side and thought it could've been a wheel bearing. After speaking to the shop about this and my car currently has the tires, rotors and pads off and ready for the new ones, or so I was told so now I need to make a decision regarding the bearing. I pull the trigger and tell them to replace the rear driver side bearing with no troubleshooting of any kind from the tech to verify if in fact is actually is the bearing that's the issue. I dropped my car off at 8am and didn get it back til noon the next day. I was told that the bearing had seized really bad and that's why it took so long. How am i to believe him when this is the same guy that told me that not only the passenger bearing needs to be replaced but also the rear passenger tire has some significant play in it when you move it. I decide to go another route and reach out to another shop. First off, I couldn't believe the price he quoted me to replace the rear passenger bearing, he had sold then. So I say ok let's do it. I make it over to the shop, they put the car on the lift, they guy comes out of the bay and asks, have they shown you how bad your tires are? I said no, they invite me into the bay to have a look at the rear tires. They were horrible, I could see bald patterns, small pieces of broken belts and that explained the noise I was hearing. They went a step farther and one of the techs and myself went for a test drive. Everything he was explaining to me in terms of noise you'd hear from bearing noise, we did not hear. The obvious was to definitely replace these tires because they could've gone out on me at any moment. Tires have been replaced and the tech took it for a test drive, absolute silence. If the tech at Zabor would've been more professional and conducted his troubleshooting methods properly, I may not have needed the rear driver bearing I mean, I can't take his word that the bearing was bad when he's the one that told me the rear passenger was going bad and that there was play with wheel when there absolutely wasn't. read more

We recently took our car to Automotive Instincts to have the brakes replaced. My husband and I are newly back in the area, so finding a mechanic is always a bit nerve wracking. There was no reason for us to worry with A.I.! Stephen provided excellent customer service and went over all the options and possible costs with us after looking over the car. We ended up having a pretty straight forward brake replacement done. The staff was great, they called us with updates and the price for the service was very reasonable. I had to get my front brakes replaced, and was recommended to come here by a friend. Making an appointment for the next day was easy enough, and the shop was simple to find. Ultimately, I paid about half of what I was anticipating, and the work done was great! It only took them about an hour and a half (normal time would take 3 hours). The techs were friendly, and talked over everything with me well in detail first. I have absolutely no complaints, other than I wish I lived closer to them so I can justify bringing my car in for the routine oil changes. They are as friendly and as knowledgeable as you'd expect, and had a mom 'n pop feel to the shop. I have a hard time believing that you could do better taking your car in anywhere else. read more

I brought my suv for an oil change. When I got home oil was leaking from the drain plug. I thought it was residual from changing and didn't get cleaned but the leak was from the drain plug. I checked for tightness and it was tight. I returned the next day and the leak was fixed. However my concern after talking with co workers is the plug was cross threaded and the drain plug threads are damaged. They will hear from me if damage was done. I will not know until my next oil change which will differently NOT be here. I will not recommend to anyone this place. read more
