After two disastrous stays at other deceptively rated PT facilities in Moorestown (Cambridge) and Voorhees (Autumn Lake), I can't praise the Medford Leas Physical Rehab facility enough. We experienced a clean, friendly, unpretentious environment, a very high quality of care, highly skilled English- speaking staff, a generous hotel grade menu, and a "go the extra mile" attention to individual patient needs. Medford Leas Physical Rehab not only gave our family member the encouragement one needs when they are down, but they restored our family's faith in humanity after experiencing two prior facilities that can only be described as "holding facilities for the unwell." Kudos and thank you Medford Leas. One final, unfortunate word, care like this is obviously more costly than those understaffed Medicaid warehouses that now represent the majority of residential PT/convalescing facilities. Your private insurance carrier may balk at the rates and your co-pay may be prohibitive if they consider Medford Leas "out of network."

I called to set up a tour for my parents, and upon hearing that my mother has a memory diagnosis, they immediately told me she would have to move into assisted living -- independent living was not an option, in their view. This despite that fact that my mother is still early in her diagnosis and functioning independently, and a higher level of care than she actually needs would definitely compromise her health rather than improve it. When I said I thought there must have been some miscommunication, I was told no, that's just how their "qualification process" works. That's actually the *absence* of a process. If they think they know what a resident needs without actually taking the individual into account, I hate to think how else they may discount residents' individuality there. All other CCRCs we toured (4 of them) were in agreement that my parents are both a fit for independent living. I feel like we dodged a bullet by not getting any further with Medford Leas. Especially if you have a loved one with a memory diagnosis, make sure you find a place that wants to ask you questions or meet your loved one *before* determining their level of need.

*Warning* I just here on Saturday, 5/11 for a termination due to severe hyperemesis at 9 weeks…read morepregnant. I just left the ER at Jefferson Einstein last night at 11 because I had to get another D&C to remove RPOC (retained products of conception) that were still in my uterus after the surgical procedure at the Cherry Hill Women's center. My white blood cell count was also suggestive of infection, so I was receiving doxycycline via IV. Also of note, there is no use trying to call the nurse line on the discharge paperwork they give you as the phone number shown on the paper is not a working number (pictured below.) I was rushed to the ER for chills, severe lower back pain, and severe abdominal cramping such that I could not sit or drive. The 800 mg ibuprofen they prescribe at the clinic did not touch the pain, so I was offered oxycodone in the ER. If you don't want to risk this happening to you, I highly recommend trying to have the termination done in a hospital where they are more thorough and held to higher standards. The doctor told me he performs abortions on nearly 40 women in one day. It's not worth risking your life to come here. Someone called me from an unknown number claiming to be from the clinic and said she'd seen my review on here. She asked me to text her a picture of my driver's license to get a copy of my medical record. I didn't feel comfortable texting that to someone I don't know is from the clinic, so I refused. She then told me I couldn't have the copy emailed to me directly. She then told me that she was feeling threatened by me. She had not acknowledged the mistake, she had not apologized, and she offered nothing to make this right, let alone show concern for my health. At that point, I realized that I was not going to get anywhere with her, so I hung up the phone. I would not recommend these clinics and would instead suggest Planned Parenthood. Retained pregnancy products can cause septicemia or at worst turn into a cancerous tumor, so it's imperative that you go somewhere that values your health enough to properly do the procedure (or admit and apologize for an indisputable mistake.) I've already filed a complaint with the NJ Department of Health.

The equipment (at least on the 5th floor, where I visited) looks modern, and the facility is clean and well maintained. Then, I had the pleasure of meeting my technologist, Alicia, and I fell in love all over again with Jefferson Outpatient Imaging!!! Alicia was SUPER friendly, very caring and helpful!! She truly cared how I felt and wanted to make sure I had a great MRI experience with them. To be honest the entire staff treated me the same way! I do recommend this facility to my family, friends and, NOW, the World too!! However, I MUST let you know I would have given a 4-Star if it was not for the services I received from Alicia, Jenny and Natalie because there is NO handicapped button to push to enter or exit to assist patients with walkers, wheelchairs or canes and there are NO grab bars to assist with getting off the MRI table or dressing room area. I called to make an appointment and found out they had an appointment 2 days out at their Marlton location. I had to admit. The Yelp and Google reviews had me worried about snarky staff and long waits. I arrived early. They are bottom floor in the Rothman Institute building. Suite 101. I checked in with no hassle. I was there about 20 minutes early and I think I was taken back five minutes after my appointment time, so not too bad. The staff member (unfortunately don't recall her name!) was great and had me in and out of the xray room in about 15/20 minutes. Then I had to wait for a cd copy in the lobby but it only took 10 ish minutes or so.
