The guy there couldn't find it among the racks and could've easily said they don't have it, but instead he asked if I had a few minutes to wait and then disappeared into the basement I think. Came back about 10 minutes later with a whole box of them so I could see which one fit the best. They just don't do things like that anymore in this high speed Amazon world. He went the extra distance for me and I'll always give a shout out to excellent service.

The service and attention to detail is the opposite of what Ed provided and guarantee he made to customers. I had a large project that I wish I went with another painter for. After pointing out the lack of quality across the work (top of doors not painted, streaking, chipping, primer issues), it was redone but at another significant expense charged by E Booth. Essentially paying twice for quality that was still poor - and should have been done properly the first time. I had to bring a new painter in to complete the job professionally. I went to Aboff's to replicate a can of paint that I purchased at an Aboff's in 1985. Although…read moreAboff no longer carried the brand paint I had, the Manager of the Syosset store, J.R. Cruz, was incredibly helpful in helping me figure out how to touch up my railing with the small amount of paint I had left in the bottom of the can, which was buried under a crust that had formed over the past decades. Accordingly, I was able to complete my touch up without having to buy a quart of new paint, and to finish the job with a minimal amount of work and without having to repaint the entire railing.
