I have had 2 dogs taken care of by Dr. Singh since 2022. I appreciate that they really care about their pet patients, have reasonable costs, and always take a transparent and straightforward/no BS approach. I have gone to Dr. Singh for regular vaccines, surgeries, prescription meds, and lately euthanasia for my old dog. 10/10 service each time. I'm so thankful for Dr. Singh and Marcos! In 2022, my senior dog Clifford needed an emergency surgery to remove multiple bladder stones. I initially took him to an emergency vet and they quoted me $12k for surgery. The next morning, I called Aborn Pet Clinic and Dr. Singh said he would take us in that same day, quoting only $1500! After surgery, Dr. Singh called that everything went well and he was ready for pick up. However, there was bleeding from his stitches since the surgery was complex and Dr. Singh offered to let my dog stay until closing so they can monitor him. He even offered to keep him over the weekend and would come in the office to check in. But we wanted my dog home to watch 24/7, so we came back ~7pm to pick him up. Dr. Singh then thoroughly explained the aftercare/cleaning process, medication, stitches removal, etc. At checkout I was expecting a much higher cost (since the surgery was more complicated, extra bloodwork, anesthesia, extra monitoring, special meds), but Dr. Singh still only charged me $1500! I asked him twice mentioning the extra care needed, but he still kept his word and maintained the original cost. Even after we took him home, Dr. Singh emailed us to check how my dog was doing over the weekend and he responded quickly to any questions we had. Removing stiches a few weeks later was quick and easy. Thank you Dr. Singh and Marcos for saving my dog! The emergency surgery gave us 4 more years with him. In 2026, when it was time to put Clifford to sleep, we also went back to Dr. Singh. He showed great sympathy to my family and explained the process in an informative and caring way. He allowed our whole family in the room to be with Clifford when he passed. My dog hated the vet's office, so we are so grateful to be able to be with him at that time. This is the most unprofessional and cold clinic I've come across. I was recommended to go here by a family member. My senior cat has been very sick and I scheduled an appointment with this doctor (Singh). My appointment being out two weeks. I've called many times, 80% of the time they don't pick up their phones and the voicemail is completely full, so unprofessional. I was told to email any prior records via email so he can get a better idea. The exact day and time I emailed the records, he writes back like a child and says can you come now at 3pm. Which is two hours away from the appointment time, I live an hour away and am working like adults usually do. I asked if there were any other times, His response was well I'm ready, your schedule is busy. I've never met someone more cold and have no care for patients or their pets. If I was treated this way as a new patient, I don't want to know how regular patients are treated. This is suppose to be a doctor who can't even spell properly and speaks like a child with 1-2 words per communication attempt. Please do us a favor and learn some social skills. Pets are family for some folks. You might be doing this for the money or doctor status but we take our pets very serious! Response to your comment- you are entitled to your opinion and I am as well. As usual, Dr. Singh did a wonderful job of cleaning my dog, Macallan's teeth. This review is mainly for a family member's dog. My brother-in-law is taking care of his sister's rescue while she is recovering from surgery. I'm not sure this 14 year old "pup" has ever had his teeth cleaned. They were covered with tartar and his breath was horrendous. Dr. Singh went "above and beyond" with this guy and made his teeth very nice. He only had to do a couple of extractions and his breath is SO much better. He also removed a growth on his nose and clipped his nails. Hopefully, Boone will be able to go home soon and stay. Today, my chihuahua mutt had to get an extraction for one of his teeth and had a deep cleaning. It was 400 and included anesthesia and a nail cutting. I was very scared when I saw that my dog's teeth was wiggly in the front, so I called Dr Singh and we walked me through everything. He quoted me for 600 max if both if them needed to be extracted but when I got the receipt back it was only 400 because only one of them needed to be extracted. A colleague of mine recommended this clinic, as she mentioned that the veterinarian is a family friend of her father. I scheduled an appointment for my two dogs after enduring a month-long wait. Regrettably, I was not informed of their strict policies regarding barking and the use of strollers, which are only communicated upon arrival. The information provided on their Yelp page reflects differing regulations. I arrived at the clinic with a dog stroller, as I am alone with my two dogs and one of my dogs is in recovery from intervertebral dry disc disease (IVDD), making it impossible for him to stand or walk for more than five minutes. The individual inside did not even attempt to listen to my explanation.His demeanor was quite disrespectful. He conveyed a sense of dissatisfaction with his role, suggesting that he was merely performing his duties without enthusiasm. He will not hesitate to cause you embarrassment in the presence of the other pet owner who was present..!!!! It was indicated on their website that they preferred a quiet environment; however, it may be suggested that this preference is incompatible with their chosen profession as a veterinarian, as they will inevitably encounter barking dogs and meowing cats in the course of their work. DO NOT GO TO ABORN PET CLINIC. We had an appointment at Aborn Pet Clinic at 8:00 a.m. and drove all the way from Burlingame because it was recommended by a friend. We woke up early and brought our French Bulldog, expecting a decent experience. Instead, it was one of the most unpleasant and unprofessional visits we've ever had. When we arrived, the man at the front desk (I'm attaching his picture) was extremely rude. No "good morning," no greeting -- just coldly told us to "have a seat" multiple times, almost like he was rushing us. He gave us a form to fill out, which had several detailed questions. As we were completing it, he abruptly told us, "Just put your name and phone number, that's enough." If that's all he needed, he should have said so from the beginning instead of wasting our time. When they came to take our dog, it was done roughly and without a word. No chance for us to say goodbye, no time to explain that she's friendly or what she likes or doesn't like. A man came from the back, didn't say a word, just grabbed the leash and took her away. It felt very cold and uncaring. We asked what to expect and how long it would take. He told us "about two hours," so we left and came back around 10:30 a.m. After all, our dog was having a lump removed from her head -- we were naturally worried. But when we returned, instead of an update or reassurance, he snapped at us: "Did I call you? Why are you here? Did I call you?" We were stunned. We explained, "You said it would take two hours," and we had come back 2.5 hours later. He just rudely replied, "Do you think we just throw the dog on the table and it's done like that?" The sarcasm, the lack of empathy -- it was shocking. He then said he'd call us around 12:00 or 1:00 p.m. and told us not to wait there. On top of that, I believe there was racial bias involved. My in-laws were speaking Chinese, and I could see how irritated he looked. I'm white, my family is Asian -- and based on his behavior, I strongly suspect racism played a role in how we were treated. This was the worst experience I've ever had at any pet clinic. I've had pets since I was 10 years old, and I'm 40 now. I've taken pets to clinics across the U.S., Europe, Dubai, and Canada -- and I've never been treated this badly. You're paying for a service, and you expect your pet to be treated with care -- not like a burden. I absolutely do NOT recommend this place to anyone who loves their pets. Avoid it at all costs. The man in charge (possibly the owner) is rude, unprofessional, arrogant, and in my opinion, racist. I even question whether he genuinely likes animals. Chose this place back in March for my kitty's 6mo neutering. Chose this place because of 3 reasons ... multiple referrals, good neutering price package , and it's reputable. Because of its good pricing, you'd think this place is a low cost clinic but it's not. He just doesn't charge an arm and leg Dr RaJ S was very informative and responsive - i had a bunch of questions regarding the neutering . Neutering procedure was scheduled for 8am/dropoff and 1pm (or when call) pick up. He called earlier than expected around 10am for us to pick up Bear. Procedure itself was less than 10mins and the remaining time was for post op monitoring. Cost Breakdown : $380 total !!!!! - $350 total for pre-op lab blood work ($150) and neuter procedure ($200) package. Also comes with a nail trim and pain injection anesthesia * cat have to be at least 4months old with both (2) dropped testicles for $200; extra cost if both testicles are not dropped * you don't need to get the $150 lab work done , but you should to ensure your cat is in optimal health for surgery and if he/she isn't allergic to any medication ( anesthesia , pain meds etc ) - additional $30 for antibiotics ( doesn't come with the neutering package ) Results: Bear was loopy after the surgery and sleepy throughout the day. Surgery was successful and clean- no side effects. We got him a cone to wear for 1 week. He looked completely healed and back to normal after 3-5 days though . Tip: -inquiry and book appointment on Yelp messages. He responds the fastest thru that method vs calling in. His voicemail storage is maxed out too so if you call during a busy time ( most of the time) and no one picks up, you can't even leave a voicemail. - no food or water after 10pm night before surgery - they only accept healthy, tame, and mellow cats-- no feral cats ! - pets should be in secure carrier for drop off I would come back here for other cat services or if I have another pet to be neutered :) read more

I'm very happy I decided to come to this clinic for my dog's dental cleaning! Booking was quick and easy via Yelp messaging. 8am drop off, 12~1pm pick up. Very reasonable charges- literally half of what my regular vet quoted me! At pickup, I paid $600 total for my 10-20 lb dog, no tooth extractions or aftercare medication required. I was nervous because my dog is 13 years old and long overdue for dental work, but he was ready for pickup just after 12pm, and he came out alert, happy, and no more stinky breath... just shiny white teeth :) and Dr Singh kept mentioning at pickup that my pup was a good dog. What more could I ask for? I appreciate the simplicity and straightforwardness of this visit. He is friendly and although it was our first time here, I already feel he loves his animal patients. It went by so smooth, great communication, kind service, & reasonable pricing. My cat was having diarrhea this week for 3 days straight and he gave me an at home solution that worked!! I've moved around a lot and have tried different clinics who will tell you to just bring your pet in and run tests aka spending money for the smallest things. Some staff even tell you they can't tell you anything until you actually bring your pet in to see the vet.
