I rarely put in reviews but I wanted to share a hidden gem in our community. I have been going to Rosemary for over 5 years now. She is the best aesthetician I have ever used in the last 20 years I have been getting this service. Her prices are the lowest in the industry and she does a very thorough job. She takes the time to listen to you and does her best to give you what you are looking for. She has NEVER upsold. I am in my 50's and my skin looks better than in my 30's!! I've been going to Rosemary for years. After receiving a luxurious, and highly overpriced hydra facial from Las Vegas, I was hellbent on finding something similar back home. After a ton of research... enter About Face and Rosemary! I typically receive facials on a monthly basis. I think I've tried everything she's offered. I always get the hydra facial accompanied with something else (e.g. wet dermabrasion, dermabrasion with crystals, or just an anti-aging mask. Each session comes with extractions, and my skin feels clean and baby soft afterwards. I had 4 sessions of the micro-channeling, it's definitely a more aggressive procedure and you do come out looking like a ripe tomato. But a day or two later your skin will be glowing and soft like a baby's bum. Highly recommend About Face to anyone looking for a good esthetician! read more

This review is based on the service given and not necessarily the business itself. I came here through a Living Social deal for a Hydrafacial. The office was quite nice and provided a very relaxing atmosphere. Rosemary is a very pleasant person to talk to and throughout the facial, she put me at ease. Once done, my face looked and felt refreshed. However, a couple of days later, I noticed my face was starting to peel and it looked as if some parts of my face had suffered minor burns. I know it wasn't intentional and was due to the products used and the sensitivity of my face. If you don't have overly sensitive skin, then I would highly recommend getting a Hydrafacial, especially one from Rosemary. But if you do, inquire first about the products that she will be using on your face to make sure you don't suffer from any adverse reactions. read more

I'm very happy with the results of a microderm facial purchased via Groupon. Rose is a calm and knowledgable esthetician who takes time to educate customers about routine skincare at home. There was no pressure to purchase skin care lines, though there were nice products displayed for those interested. I thoroughly enjoyed my facial. Rose made the treatment comfortable and relaxing.The microdermabrasion itself wasn't painful. It stings slightly, but the results are well worth it. My skin feels and looks softer and smoother. Like a lot of other Yelp reviewers, I found Rosemary through a LivingSocial coupon. I was breaking out with cystic acne and it was driving me crazy. For those who are lucky enough not to endure them, most cystic acne is caused by hormones and are incredibly deep and painful. If I don't put a lot of benzyl peroxide on it every moment of every day, it usually leaves a strange scar/bump behind. I had about 2-3 of them on my nose (which caused me to panic because I usually get one at a time), I was desperate to figure out how to get rid of them. I was on the prowl for microdermabrasion deals (facials tend to make them worse!), but then came across Rosemary's hydrafacial deal. After researching/looking into it, I decided to give it a chance. I wasn't able to use the coupon until recently and by then most of the cystic acne had disappeared, but one cropped up just in time for my appointment. At this time it was at its worse. Any poking/prodding (like with a black head remover tool) would have agitated it and caused it to swell. Rosemary did her magic and it actually WENT AWAY. I had never had cystic acne disappear so quickly!! Not only is Rosemary friendly and sweet, but she's also ridiculously gentle! I felt relaxed and at complete ease throughout the session and my face felt AMAZING afterwards -- fresh and renewed! She showed me the oils and whatnot that were in my skin and it was really gross (but cool) how much dirt/disgusting stuff was locked in my pores. I discovered this place because I received a gift certificate for a hydra facial from a friend. My first comment is to never judge a book by its cover. It is located in an office-like park. It's not a fancy office park, but there is a lot of available parking. Oh... and the parking entrance and exit are one way. I assume it is because you will have a sharp hill upon entering the parking. It's like going up a roller coaster. Click. Click. Click. So, be careful. Now for the service. I only had one other hydra facial before. It was at a beauty school. Enough said. So my expectation was low to neutral... and then I had the facial. OMG! I felt like I was being operated on. Rosemary took special care to unclog every clogged pore I had. Who knew I had so many? It had been awhile since my last facial so Rose had her work cut out for her. Rose has this machine. It's like a mini vacuum with water. It felt a little like microdermabrasion, but wetter. Then came the extractions. Oh my. Rose should be called THE EXTRACTOR. That part is never relaxing. It's like the necessary evil of the dentist. It sucks getting your gums and teeth poked, but after your teeth feel so clean. So, same premise, but with your face. After the extraction she does one more of the hydration facial pass... and then a nice mask where you and your face get to relax. After the mask was my favorite part. Rose took off the mask by massaging my face. Oh heck yeah!! I love have my sinus area (nose and brow) massaged. Then a warm soaked fragrant (geranium and lavender) towel where you get all cleaned up. I've been going to Rose for the Hydrafacial for almost a year now. She has lots of good coupons out there for the facial. I HIGHLY recommend the facial. I'm 40, and my skin is not what it used to be. After I have the facial, my skin is so clean and so clear and so shinny, its amazing. Any acne i had during the facial disappears the next day. I would go every few weeks if i could. I found out about Rosemary from my friend, who has been going to her for about a year and swears by hydrafacial. She informed me that there was a deal running on Amazon Local and i jumped on the opportunity and got one. Needless to say i loved it, Rosemary spent almost double the time with me performing the treatment. After the facial session i bought the 4-pack of treatments. I have to say, this is not your regular "fufu" facial, where you just get a mask, massage and a light cleaning. This is a deep cleaning and exfoliation of your skin&pores with a special equipment (a machine). Its a vacuum based skin abrasion tip which is loaded with various serums. Rosemary was very informative and professional, made the whole experience incredibly pleasant. On my first visit she did the following: cleansing, hydrafacial, light microdemobrasion, extractions, a calming mask at the end. Made a few suggestion after the treatment how to take care of my skin. I've used two so far and can see an improvement already, I'm gifting my third facial to my boyfriend, which I thought was nice of Rosemary to allow. (Some spas can be really strict about those sort of things.) I will be repurchasing another package and adding the red light for added collagen boost and to help with my uneven skin tone. She is honest and has a no pressure approach that I really appreciate. I am really glad I did because my experience has been wonderful with the treatment and service provided by Rose. Rose delivers her service in a rather nurturing manner and is very accommodating when it comes to scheduling an appointment. She not only provides a great product but gives advice on how to keep your skin looking great. As for the HydraFacial it is unlike microabrasian or a chemical peel, it is less abrasive and within hours cosmetics can be applied.
