I recently got micro blading done here at the salon. My micro blading technician is named Tiffany. She gave me excellent service, she told me what was going to be done, she explained the pain level, and she also did it at my pace since I am sensitive to pain. The salon itself is very beautiful, clean, and inviting. The staff was so welcoming and I really appreciated that. It really hurts me to do this because it's such a pretty and neat looking salon and I've never left a one star review before but I have never been this disappointed after leaving a salon. My hair was already dyed blonde and my roots are a dark brown. It was my first time at About Face today and my appointment was with Amanda at 11:30 and I left at around 2:30. I have been dying my hair blonde for two years now and never had the issues like I had today. The all over color was okay but my roots hurt my heart to even look at. I have attached pictures. A lot of my dark hair is showing and orange blotches are everywhere. Some spots it's a lot of the dark brown and some are the awful orange. Anyway you look at it it's just awful. I pointed all of this out to Amanda and she agreed that there were orange spots and my natural hair color was showing a lot. She gave me a small discount and said I could come back Next week to get it fixed for 50 dollars... I don't know if I will go back. I'll probably just call and cancel because I don't think I want to spend anymore money here. The pictures don't even do the justiceJust disappointed. read more

The entire staff is so kind and welcoming, and you can tell that the people who work there enjoy being together. Kiersten Tucker has been my stylist for the entire time. She is comical, fun-loving and extremely personal and caring. She really takes the time to hear what I'm looking for in a color/cut and will offer honest opinions and alternatives if something won't work or look good on me. Sometimes I am just getting my greys covered, and other times we get adventurous and try several colors. She helps me to get a little outside of my comfort zone and try new things. I LOVE this salon! The environment is very relaxing and inviting. All of the staff are super friendly and professional. And my hair has never looked better :) Every single stylist there is very talented with their trade. Kiersten Tucker is my favorite stylist to go to. I really enjoy going to this salon. It is quiet and relaxing but also very warm and inviting. The staff are very friendly and the salon is just gorgeous. I followed Valerie to About Face from another local salon and always look forward to my highlights and cuts with her. I actually travel from out of town to see her. She always listens to what I want done with my hair but then also suggests finishes that will really help me achieve the look I want. David did an awesome job on my super curly 3B 3C hair. I went in asking for something a little different- a curly fringe bang. Not only was he an active listener, but he gave me some tips for some issues I was facing. He gave me just what I wanted, was great to talk to, personable, and did an awesome job. He was very profressional and knowledgeable. He had a lot to tackle, but he did it amazingly and took my wild curly hair head on. Receptionist (Owner's Mother) very rude and demeaning. Two weeks after purchasing 2 products for $50, I decided that the products weren't worth the $$ so I called and asked the owner if I could return the products w/o my receipt (couldn't find it anywhere). She said no problem. Got to the salon a few days later where the "mother" said NO, I could not return the product w/o a receipt. I told her I had already called and got the OK from the OWNER. She continued to give me a hard time about it and then after picking up one of the tiny bottles she accused me of using half the bottle before returning it . I HAD ONLY USED BOTH PRODUCTS TWICE!!! Apparently I was the one ripped off when I purchased the product. It was very demeaning to say the least! While waiting for her to refund my credit card, I came across my receipt... so thankful I did. Hopefully, she felt condemned for her behavior! I will NOT go back!
