After doing a lot of research in a very short amount of time, and calling other roofing companies who ghosted us, Above All Roofing literally came to the rescue (on a Thursday) within 48 hours of us calling, assessed the damage and began work the next week. Tim even came out on a down day to temporarily weather-proof the situation because he had checked his app and saw a 40% chance of rain. Thank God he did because that turned into a 100% chance of rain for 36 hours. He and his crew (Jorge and the others whose names I didn't learn) were courteous, professional, tidy and efficient. I got the estimate to install a new roof on my house and the detached garage, then a few weeks later contacted Tim to show me some actual samples of the roofing materials and have some questions as well and he replied he cannot be in my area for the next 2 weeks and that's fine with me I'm not in a hurry. So we set up a day and time he NEVER SHOW UP AND HE NEVER CALL OR TEXT, so the next day I texted him what happened, his response he was not able to get the samples, and no more words if we reschedule or what, so I waited another weeks and never heard from him again, so I texted once again and his response he will call but as usual never did. I understand that they were so busy but the thing I don't like when you don't response. That's a very bad customer service. Well maybe now the job is more than he can handle but who knows someday he might be the one chasing to get a job. I believe in KARMA. This is in response to Tim's reaction to my review. First the sample is not a big deal, I can get that in the building supplies place. My problem is that you said you will come by on Thursday afternoon because you are in my area, but you never show up no text or call. Next day Friday still no text or call so I decided to text you in the afternoon to see what's going on, and yes you responded the reason why you didn't come by, but your response was only after I reach out first. However you didn't say if we will reschedule or what. Regarding the question that I have, it didn't arise when you came because I didn't have the proposal yet and it's not about the rafter. Then on Sept 01, I texted you again if you can call me when you have a few minutes so that we can talk, I never heard from you again and four days later I texted you "OK THEN" that's all I said, then you texted me back and said I'm sorry Gary I'm busy on a job in Big Bear and you said you will call back on Tuesday and you never call or text. A much needed repair of the leak around chimney prompted me to start looking for a roofer before the rain comes back. Tim responded fast, came for an inspection and estimate and had it repaired within a week after that. Pictures showed a beautifully repaired perimeter of the chimney. We were referred to this company by our painter. All started out well, Tim Cardena arrived for a estimate in a timely manner, and that was about where it ended. He told me he would send me the estimate and schedule the repair for the following Thursday/Friday. I waited for the estimate that never came and his repair that never happened. I called several times to inquire about this schedule, with no response. A courtesy call if he weren't interested in the project would have been appreciated, but to just not respond to several calls, is just plain rude. Tim's lack of response delayed our project for two weeks. I was very fair and gave him the benefit of the doubt, but giving him respect was not retuned.
