I had Romer's Roofing replace my old, noisy garage roof turbine vent with a new O'Hagin vent, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. They were busy at first, but I appreciated that they followed up on their own and gave me a specific day they could come out -- no chasing, no back-and-forth. They showed up exactly when they said they would and gave me a heads-up before arriving. The work itself took about half an hour, and everything looked great when they were done. The best part is that the vent is no longer loud and squeaky. I can actually sleep now when it's windy... well, theoretically, but at least it won't be because of the vent anymore. I had some roof tile damage after a wind storm and contacted several companies to get an estimate for repairs. Romer's roofing got back to me quickly and set up an estimate for the next day. The communication was great and the appointment was set. The morning of the estimate Romer's roofing called me and gave me a 30 minute heads up and showed up on time. The roofer listened to my concerns and went up to my roof. After he was done he showed me several pictures of the damage and of some other items he mentioned were worth fixing. He was never pushy and never tried to sell me a new roof. He stated the repairs were simple and would buy me many more years on my roof. I received an estimate the next day and was able to schedule the repair. The day of the repair came and I received multiple pictures of the before and after process. They were extremely communicative and explained what they were doing. After the repairs were done they texted me a few days later and asked if everything was as expected. My chimney topper flew off during the Santa Ana winds and landed with a thud in front of my house. I sent a Yelp request to multiple roofers, and Abraham from Romer's Roofing was one of the first to offer a visit for a free estimate. Abraham was friendly, through, and provided great service for our roof! He found some broken clay tiles which he showed me photos of, and explained he could fix those too along with replacing the chimney topper. He was honest when he told me a new custom chimney topper would be very expensive, and instead he was able to hammer out the dents to reuse the topper we had - I really appreciated how straightforward he was in trying to reuse it, especially when other roofers just said I had to get a new replacement roof (without even visiting physically first!). He fit us in the same week, mentioning that it was going to rain on the weekend so he wanted to try and get it fixed quickly. Great experience, although my house was a 2 bedroom, my roof had the original Wood shake roof + shingles so the job was heavy in the beginning. Given everything that had to come off my roof, that was a huge task, alot of trash. Then came repairing any damaged areas, and replacing and reapplying sheathing which again is a HUGE job. I was on site from beginning to end and they were done within 2 weeks, I think thats amazing timing. When i initially called, I loved how they were happy to pass by towards the end of the working day to give me a quote and give me a assessment, many other companies take so long to come and see you, but Abraham was super positive and helpful. In terms of pricing i think it was very fair and the workman ship was spot on. I would say if you need a roof, call Abraham and get a quote, the communication and turn around was great.
