I am a local realtor and I needed an emergency roof inspection because I was trying to meet my timelines. The first roofing company screwed me over and gave me no useful information on a roof inspection other than a handful of pictures and a couple lines that said they cannot make any recommendations or certifications because they didn't work on the type of roof (tar and gravel, older home) that was on this house that I needed inspected (look for my review of the Roof Doctors if you are interested). Long story short is I needed a some sort of roof inspection with useful information to pass on to my clients, so I decided to call Above All Roofing Company. Justin is one of the owners who took over for his father who started the company. I explained the situation to him on the phone and he said explain to me that pretty much very few roofing companies will certify or repair tar and gravel roofs now days and that the best thing is to just replace it when it's time. Even though he did not work on those roofs either, he was willing to go over to the house to look at the roof and give me his two cents about it the following day. After he checked the roof out he called me (I couldn't answer), so he text me his findings. Basically the roof is old, has some rusted flashing and areas around the flashing had been patched in the past. Overall, looked ok at this time, but couldn't guarantee life of the roof. The best thing was to replace the roof with current methods (rolled roofing) which to convert over was a lot of work. Of course he is in business to make money, but he was honest and said the roof may hold up for a few more years. He did offer a written quote on a new roof replacement and did not charge my clients a roof quote inspection fee to help save us some money! They are also solar certified so, they are certified to disconnect, remove and reinstall your solar panels to repair your roof. This will save you some time and headache from dealing with your solar company or maybe your solar company went out of business like mine did. Justin knows how to run a successful business! Just be honest and don't try to nickel and dime potential customers! If anyone is looking for a roofer, give Above All Roofing Company a call! The estimators were extremely fast in coming out and giving me a quote and super friendly! Their pricing was very fair, and it made making such a big purchase easier. As a first time homeowner big projects such as a new roof felt so daunting. The crew worked diligently and finished up in two days, and that included new gutters as well! The crew also did a great job cleaning up. We love the look of our new roof, and now we just need to paint to match. The seamless gutters were such a nice addition to our new roof as well. We needed a little bit of dry rot repaired, and they communicated that early on so we were not surprised. This being a locally owned business was also a nice detail. Alert! I had a very bad experience with Above All Roofing Company. They installed my roof June 2024. By July 2024 my roof appeared to have lumps and waves on the front part of my roof in front of my house and over the garage door. The Owner of Justin Banard- Above All Roofing agreed to fix my roof, he scheduled an appointment to do the repairs but never showed up. After getting about 4 other estimates from different roofing companies, I decided to choose Above All Roofing for a couple reasons: 1 reason is because my husband works with someone whose family own's the business and the fact that it's family owned is a big thing! We love supporting family owned businesses. The 2nd reason I chose them is because they were lower then some of the other estimates I got and had good reviews. The third reason is because I loved how they were the ones that took care of the roof permit with the city and handling all the inspections before and after the work was done! Some of the roof companies I inquired about wanted the owner to get the permit but Above All Roofing made it easy and did all the hard work for my me. Above All Roofing replaced my whole roof, replaced all the dry rot and also all my gutters and downspouts in about 2 days! They scheduled me in about a week after I inquired about getting an estimate and they came out to do the work the 1st week of December before all the rain came. They did such a great job and I'm so impressed with the quality of the work and also the customer service I was provided from start to finish! I didn't even have to be home for the estimate or while they were doing the work which made life for me so much easier as it can be hard sometimes to leave work to tend to house projects. OH and I forgot to mention that I live in Hercules and they are located in Fairfield, Vacaville, and SF and they still came out all the way to Hercules to do the work! Fast Response, However I do not recommend this company Above All Roofing Company for any work. I felt I was over charged. $950 for resealing a roof vent plumbing pipe and pushing back a few tiles in place. The estimator did not do a complete inspection of the roof on the second story as I asked for and was gone with in minutes of arrival when I went back out to check. I never received a detailed repair work order to see which repairs where needed. I signed a estimate letter thinking more work was required. My fault, assuming I was dealing with a trust worthy company. No option after the minor work described above was accomplished and the repairman asked for $950 Check written. I emailed Above All Roofing company with my feedback no response except for a paid in full invoice. A military/Senior discount is indicated in the company's ad however neither was applied to my estimate. I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran. Find another company to accomplish your job. read more

Nothing but good things to say about Above All Roofing, from my first phone call to completion. I love that it is a family business. I feel like I talked to the whole family at some point throughout the project. The price was fair. They fit me in to a busy time and managed to come out between rain storms. It took exactly the two days they predicted and when it rained the next day, I was smiling! They had a lot of guys on the crew to get in and out quickly, each one was courteous and clean. There was some dry rot uncovered, which they fixed. They cleaned up at the end of each day and, after using the blower, my driveway was cleaner than when they started! Called Above All Roofing on Tuesday, Robert came out next day had estimate delivered too me on Thursday and new roof by Monday. Price was fair, the thing I liked was that his company was not going to sub out the gutters like some other companies were going to do. Robert explained too me the new rules regarding the energy star requirements or new insulation requirements. He was also the only one that mentioned to call Directv to have my dish moved. This was the company our realtor used for our roof inspection for our recent home purchase. I called them this Tuesday and was told Bob would call me back the same day or the next day. Nada. Finally he called me Thursday night (no apology) and said he would be out today between 11am and 1pm. I rearranged my whole day to make sure I was here during that time. At 2:30, I had received no phone call regarding tardiness or rescheduling, so I finally add the call to my long distance mother that I had been putting off. At 2:40 the doorbell rang. I was in the phone, but looked out to see it was him outside. I told my mom that if I got another call if have to go deal with the late roofing guy. Did he bother calling WHILE HE WAS HERE AND LATE?? Nope. I sure could use $10,000, but I guess this company isn't interested in money or decent referrals. Luckily? There are A LOT of roofing companies who do want my money. If you give a professional 3 hours to show up, and they don't even have the courtesy to call you before they show up almost two hours later? Sorry. I don't have time for that. read more

Ten years ago this company replaced some gutters on my home. A month and a half ago I wanted the gutter re-sealed and there was part of the gutter that needed to be reattached to the home. Obviously I call to set up the maintenance appointment. I get a call back and I'm told two weeks. Two weeks past and not a single word. So I call again. Yes, Yes, Yes........... I'm told. We will be out there to fix it in .............you guessed it...............two weeks. Not wanting to wait too long and anxious to get gutter repaired, I call 13 days later to find out where I am on the repair list of priorities and leave a message as no one is a answered my call. Six days after I call and leave a message, I finally get the gutters fixed but not by Above All. I got it fixed by another company the SAME day I called them to repair gutters. Still no call received by Above All Roofing. I suspect I will be waiting for awhile................. read more

They were able to get the job done in one day! Bob was honest and up front about any needed repairs/replacement. Would highly recommend. These guys came to my rental in Crockett and did great work. This was not an easy job at all. First of all the house is not near the street, and it is located on a hill. The front of the house is one story, but because of the hill, the back of the house is almost 3 stories high. Four other companies passed in even being considered for the job.
