Workmanship, outstanding, couldn't ask for a better crew. They were quick and speedy once the work started. I had a new roof put in by El Dorado. They came out, took the old roof off on day one, they did most of the repairs on day two and finished on the third. All the workers kept the area clean and hauled all the junk away. All thumbs up. Their communications need a little work. It was a little painful getting in touch after the estimate. I had a pretty hard time putting myself on the schedule, confirming things. Poor customer service. I got their name from Angi, requesting an estimate for a roof. They texted back they'd get back to me to setup a visit. Since that text I've had 5 other contractors in to evaluate my roof. If a contractor makes an appointment and misses it with no call or text, there will be no second chance. Poor customer service. No show on the starting date even though I called two days before to confirm it. They didn't pick up the phone or respond to my voice mail. I was told the owner was out of town, and everything seems to be falling apart while he is gone! I wonder if the owner is really aware of how awful things are at his company. Staff is highly responsive in Yelp replies, but not with phone calls or even scheduling someone to come over to see if they could help us with repair. One of the roofer employees was nice enough to give us his phone number to call, but we were only able to get ahold him 2x...just to ask him to go over and help with us a leak repair in the kitchen. Marcos, the crew, as well as the office staff were beyond amazing! I requested quotes on Yelp for fixing several areas of dry rot on the eves of my home as well as fixing or possibly replacing my gutters. El Dorado Roofing contacted me immediately. I then spoke to Marcos over the phone and scheduled a consultation with him for the very next day. He was extremely professional, friendly, on time, helpful and very knowledgeable with what needed to be done. He addressed all my concerns and sent out a quote that afternoon. Their pricing was very reasonable and in line with another quote I had received a while back. What I really appreciated is that Marcos was honest and gave me his professional opinion on certain gutters that were actually still good and didn't need to be replaced except for the downspout. I did have a few other companies come out to give a quote for the job which those other companies ended up being double the cost if not more for the same project. In the end, I decided to go with El Dorado Roofing and I'm so glad I did! Spoke to Marcos again after signing the quote and he and his crew started the job the very next day! They showed up on time, took the necessary precautions with wearing masks, were professional and efficient with getting the project done. It took 2 days to complete and Marcos checked in along the way. His communication was top notch! If I had a question, I was able to get a hold of him right away and he kept me in the loop on timing with my project. Each day after the crew was finished, they cleaned up everything which was also very nice. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I HIGHLY recommend El Dorado Roofing for your next project. I am so grateful to have their help with replacing my ridge tiles and pipe seat seals. Marcos gave us a good price for the work. He just proposed the repairs that needed to be done. Other roofers proposed replacing the pipe seats instead of just re-sealing them. That would have cost a fortune (required removing solar panels). The fall is very busy for them! Marcos, Orlando, and Karla are a great team. From other reviews, it looks like they are on fire - and I'm happy for them. Very responsive and helpful. They came all the way to Marin to give us an estimate and tarp the leaky roof while we waited for the rain to subside for replacement. They also worked with me via the iphone - so I could oversee a roof replacement long distance. They sent pics of the permit, progress pics, and finished product pics (it looks amazing). So if you have a business trip - this company can replace your roof and keep you in the loop while you're away. They also fit my house in during rainy season. Thank you! Have a Roof leak after Oct 24th 2021 Storm! Called El Dorado Roofing per Yelp Reviews! Responded and sent a person out to inspect! Said wasn't too big of a job and gave me an estimate and also one for gutter cleaning. After accepting estimates and several emails,texts they said couldn't do job until late December! What???? Save yourself the headache. I had previously posted a favorable review at the prompting of El Dorado's salesman. The job went smoothly and I assumed I had received quality materials and workmanship. Since then, my two-year-old $44,000 roof El Dorado installed has leaked in three areas, causing water damage and rotting to lumber. For half a year I have been asking the owner to be accountable. I had to contact the California Contractor's State Licensing Board (CCSLB) and file a formal complaint, and now hire a law firm with whom I will begin the required mediation, arbitration, and, I suspect, ultimately, litigation. I spoke to the CCSLB's "expert witness" contractor who inspects claims made against contractors for the board and they asked for the name of the roofing company. When I mentioned the name the rep said, "Oh, yikes, we get a lot of calls about jobs they have done." read more

At first I was excited about this business. Dan S. came for a quote promptly and quoted a good price. After that, they fell off the face of the earth. Calls to their office would not be returned. I reached out to Dan S multiple times, and I thought I had the job schedule only to have them not show up. Repeated attempts to reach out were unanswered. I gotta say, these guys, Orlando, Marcos and crew are amazing! They are efficient, clean, fast and super friendly! The respect they showed me and my family while replacing our roof was the best I have ever seen from a contractor. And I use a lot of contractors. Their professionalism and courtesy were very much appreciated! My roof looks amazing and it was like I blinked and they were finished. Went above and beyond with my gutters, down spouts and even helped me with loading up a few things I have been needing to get to the dumps. Today I had a new flat roof installed , I picked TPO roof with 1 inch insulation as it white and long lasting . I called the office about a week ago, she told me Orlando will call back and he did after 10 min to give me a quote . He also came by to look at the roof and said the team will come on Saturday . Today at 7 AM the team was on my roof tearing the old one and install the TPO . Orlando came out and looked at the porch that needed a new roof. Made a great recommendation to solve an almost no slope roof problem. Same type of long warranty, but with different material and installation work. Our new membrane roof was installed along with new gutters. Every day they left the grounds spotless, and kept the front gate closed so our dog would not get out. The guys worked hard on the roof as our 95 lbs dog kept an eye on them from below.
