She actually sat down with us went over everything, answered all of my questions, and did a very thorough examination of my boy. She set him up for referrals just to make sure that her suspicions can be ruled out or treated. I'm very impressed with her, not so much with the wait time... but just for her I will add another star and continue to come back.

Our son had severe reflux, with pain and excessive spitting up. While Dr. Mehta would keep having us back at our insistence, most of the course of our son's reflux treatment was suggested by me as a result of my google searches. Had I not been so involved, we would have stopped at trying one unsuccessful medication and constant misery for our little boy. I was also given very wrong advice, about limiting my nursing sessions with my child to lessen his spitting up. A baby knows when they are hungry and it is not my place to stop that and listen to the crying. Finally seeing a specialist and getting the correct medication, on the other hand, helped tremendously. On the plus side, nobody here ever suggested I stop nursing and switch to a specialized formula, which was very much appreciated. I did not feel like the doctors were interested in creating a relationship with my family. There were also long waits and scheduling mix ups. You can't talk with doctors or nurses on the phone, you must come in for an appointment. We have been with a new pediatrician's office for a year and are much happier now.

He always has a smile on his face and genuinely seems to love what he does. There have been so many times when I waited until the last minute to get a physical done for school, and the friendly office staff always found me an appointment. I've also had to call a few times after office hours, and was able to reach Dr. Mehta through the answering service. The other reviewer said he makes you come in to the office a lot, but every time I have called him, he has given me advice on what to do, and told me to make an appointment only if I'm not feeling better. Honestly, I want to go in to the office and see a doctor when I'm sick, because he can't really "see" me over the phone. The office is really nice. They have a separate sick-child and well-child waiting area, which I really liked. They have a huge flat screen TV in the waiting room as well as plenty of toys and books to keep kids occupied while they wait. I know I'll be taking my kids to see Dr. Mehta!

I had planned to discuss birth control, but I didn't feel comfortable bringing it up with my parent in the room and didn't want to ask her to leave myself. I think it's important for teen patients to have some private time with their provider so they can ask questions and be honest, especially about topics like safety, mental health, and reproductive health. Big fail on the behalf of this provider, will stay at this practice but I will be switching doctors.

She refused to sign the physical form unless he received the vaccines, even though I explained the urgency of needing the paperwork for school. The visit felt unhelpful and like a waste of time. I'll be finding another clinic that listens, communicates respectfully, and works with parents on timing and concerns. Also, the scheduler should mention who i am seeing if i am seeing a nurse or a doctor. I will not go back there, it was a waste of time, we can find another doctor who can listen to us and really care.

They always return my calls so quickly and even when I had hesitation about the delivery facility Judy took time to make me feel comfortable and didn't get upset with my concerns. They all seem to want what is best for my baby and my own needs. I have literally postponed a military move thats close to my family just to stay with this team and thus far I have ZERO regrets. I hope I continue to have a positive experience with this office and will update my review once little one arrives!
