Saying he doesn't do "Pinterest" tattoos and would rather free hand something. Hmmmm. Despite making an appointment a month earlier, and sending several drawings for ideas... nothing was drawn up. He crudely drew mine on paper in about 5min and just drew on my boyfriend with a Sharpie. We should have walked out. I WISH we walked out. Instead we ended up with cover-ups over Rick's work for HALF of what he charged us. Do yourself a favor... make the drive to ANYWHERE but here. Rick... we're looking at the same pic right? Your tattoo is the crooked, uneven one. I wanted something beautiful... too bad I had to get a cover up to achieve that. No budget was ever discussed. As my boyfriend had spent a few thousand dollars in your shop... I doubt that is the issue. Blame the customers for poor quality and sub-par work??? That's phenomenal business practice.

I hit him up on instagram a couple months ago about a tattoo I have been looking to get. We made the plans and I booked the appointment about a month ago. I came in today at 4 and we got started. In a month or so we will go back and add some water color coloring. The shops clean and all the artists have unique designs, and loads of talent with affordable and competitive prices. When I was all done I got to take my pics and we put a nifty bandage on it (normally just used to the plastic wrap) and the normal instructions for taking care of it. Super happy with it!

We ended up with 4 different artists and all walked away happy. They got us in and out way faster than we expected. My tattoo is healing nicely. Most of us got a 2nd skin wrap which was really awesome too! The location was perfect, right next to the casinos and several bars. The shop was very clean and classy. They seemed to practice good sanitation in between each tattoo as well. I hope to take my husband back to Clay one day for an awesome anime tattoo.
