I got a call this afternoon from the front desk stating that they gave my children incorrect information and that both my children needed root canal and had cavities. I asked them why the Dr Did not call me or my husband since we can't go in due to COVID and she said she didn't know. I asked why were my children told one thing and know she is pretty much telling my my children need hundreds of dollars worth of work and she was like I don't know. I asked to have the records and a letter stating what was needed and she said she couldn't send that to me. I told Her I don't understand why a front desk is telling me this information and not a doctor. We went to this office to take care of my wife's root canal as well as a crown. She was infected in…read moreher gums while we went there so they gave her antibiotics. Then they did what they were supposed to do, and even after they were done, my wife kept saying that her teeth were hurting so they just kept giving her antibiotics. She kept having to go off and on with antibiotics. Finally, two years later, her mouth was infected, and we went to a specialist that this same doctor Dr. Aiman from star smiles dental group told us to go to, and that specialist told us that when they did the original procedure at star smiles dental group they only cleaned three of the four canals that were supposed to be treated and that's where she was getting. The bacterial infection is the fourth canal that was never treated. I had to pay $1800 at this specialist as an emergency situation to clean up her gums as well as redo the root canal and they put a temporary that was only good for one month. Before I went to the specialist, Dr. Aiman told us he would do the crown at no charge to us for our troubles. When we went back to go get sized for the crown, he was saying that he was going to charge our insurance again. I told him you said you were not gonna charge us because if we God forbid needed another crown for my wife they won't allow us through our insurance because you're charging a second time for a crown that should've been done right the first time. I would be aware before going to this dentist because I end up having to spend thousands of dollars out of my pocket because of their mistake that they are not standing behind. When I was talking to Dr. Aiman he was saying that he no longer wanted to talk to me because he had a heart condition and could not get mad and talk on the phone. He told me that twice and then hung up and could care less about taking care of my wife's situation. Now we are stuck with a temporary tooth that is about to be bad in two weeks and have to go to an emergency crown somewhere else and pay another large amount of money because of their mistake. And I do not want to forget to mention that there was another client there with the same problem and infection because of them in her mouth. I would never go there be aware and save your money and go to somewhere that knows what they're doing.

Front staff Annie and Jose always greeted us with a smile. Now, after many years she has her smile back. The temporary dentures were modified a few times for comfort. Final set we heard the phone call with the denturist company. Dr. Shieh always double checked the dentures fit. My wife says look for yourself.
