​Dr. Robert Arnold Abrams is fantastic a real life-saver. When I couldn't even walk due to extreme pain, and he immediately. He discovered I had gout. Whether I'm in for a serious issue or just routine callus and nail care, he is consistently kind, humble, and highly experienced. He even keeps the mood light with great dad jokes!​ The office staff, especially Jose and Yvette, are equally empathetic and efficient. Andrea I don't really know. I'm sure she's nice. When I Get There I am almost always called back immediately; the longest I have ever waited past my appointment time was 10 minutes. He's the type of doctor that will call you to check up on you which I love so much. Not many doctors call you and ask you for a follow-up. But he does he make sure that you're okay. Waisted 6 months of my time to just refer me back to my pcp! After I did everything Dr. Abrams ask me to do for my situation and right when I was hoping to get medication to help treat me AFTER ALL THIS WAITING he was all of a sudden "worried" about the contraceptives I am on, worried that I could get pregnant at the same time of the medication he's supposed to give me! He didn't bring that up when it was on my chart SIX MONTHS AGO!!! And I NEVER said I was trying to get pregnant and i kept pushing that I was here to treat the PROBLEM I AM HERE FOR! But Abrams kept insisting this "I could get pg he doesn't want anything to happen to the baby" I'm sorry, aren't you a podiatrist not an OB?! Abrams even said he dealt with older patients when prescribing this medication and I'm sure those patients are on stronger and a lot more medications but instead Abrams is "worried" about my one little birth control pill and I could still get pregnant narrative, WHAT?! I am confused??? This is why I am on contraceptives, sooooo?!? What are you talking about???!? Also his staff is friendly but two times in a row misscheduled me even after they wrote it down on the little reminder card for me and there was no confirmation call to confirm the appointment NOTHING.. I was the one calling to confirm and even almost having me do their job for them by asking me to make sure I call the lab to fax paper work to Abrams in time for my appointment (REMINDER THAT THEY MISSCHEDULED) bc they have trouble with this lab before BUT shouldn't the staff be doing this to ensure a smooth appointment for both the patient and the doctor?!?? Instead they were calling the DAY OF my appointment for my lab results and I was even calling out of frustration cuz either way if it was the labs fault or his staff?!? IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE ALREADY, INSTEAD ABRAMS AND HIS STAFF PLAY THE BLAME GAME...instead of doing their job!! Absolutely RIDICULOUS! With all this said I left his office with nothing solved just frustrated that my time was waisted for MONTHS after I did everything he had instructed me to do! Dr. Abrams is one of the sweetest men around and is truly caring ... the staff on the other hand is atrocious!!! They are rude... over scheduling appointments... overall rude! The wait time is beyond stupid. They don't care that people have a life to lead and tell you that "the doctor is running behind".... Be prepared to wait and wait!!!! Hi all, if you like to wait for hours on end for a 5 minute check up, this is definitely the place for you. It doesn't matter if you have an appointment because either way it will take around 2+ hours. The staff is also not friendly at all, always in a bad mood. I recommend these ladies get another job since this is clearly not the job for them. There are a lot of elderly people that come here and i feel bad for them because they just wait for hours and hours. Only reason this place gets a 2 stars is because Dr abrams is clearly a very experienced pediatrician. read more

I called for a last minute appointment and was so lucky to get a same day appointment for my daughter who fractured her ankle. Once I arrived the girl at the front desk was in training but luckily the office manager helped her and figured out all my insurance information even was super patient with my insurance. They were fast to get me in a room. Dr. Abrams is definitely an expert. Very intelligent and well spoken, he seemed to care and explained everything to my daughter and went out of his way to make sure she was comfortable, that her shoe fit well and that the cast wasn't too tight. He even gave a little history of how long he's been in business. I really appreciated his knowledge shared. Very awesome experience, he even opened the door and walked me daughter all the way out. To begin with, I personally work in the healthcare industry. Front staff is not kind at all. Especially the elder lady that sits in the back, she always had attHe definitely needs to have a staff meeting with them to make patients feel welcomed. They are sometimes very unprofessional about the way they talk to patients. The male MA is the only one who is kind of nice and seems to know what he is doing. The MD himself, well...he cares for his patients, But he is very very old school and very unsanitary to be honest. He touches wounds, touches objects/tools, touches his phones; and all this while wearing the same pair of gloves. I would recommend the whole office need remodeling. I get it's a Private Practice, but they definitely need an upgrade. Also, the front is always always messy there. If you can choose a better office, I WOULD SUGGEST IT TBH. UPDATE* The doctor himself fell asleep on me while working on my feet...definitely filing for grievance. read more

Dr Abrams has been treating me for a fracture. My pcp referred me to him and I must say since I didn't have a choice of podiatrists and I didn't have much time to do my usual research, I was skeptical. Despite the some times long waits in the waiting room, Dr Abrams and staff are awesome and worth the wait. His assistant Jessica is beyond friendly and easy to talk to. You could tell she is very knowledgeable about her job. Dr Abrams is very pleasant and easy going. He always makes me laugh! He is a great Dr and I'm almost sad that I won't be visiting him as often as my fracture is healing. Thank you Dr Abrams & staff.. You're the best! read more

Appointments are useless. I was scheduled for an appointment at 9am and 45 minutes later I was still waiting in the waiting room. Why did I make an appointment for? It took over an hour for him to take me in and the two ladies up front were too busy chatting away and answering their personal cellphones. I had to ask them if there was any paperwork they needed me to fill out since it was my first time and she said, " oh yes". If I had an option, I would never ever come back here. I rather pay out of pocket to get decent treatment than go to a place my insurance covers. ***it is now 10:30 and I am YET to see this DR. I was unhappy with 8 week waiting period I had to get an appointment. The waiting room was small. The receptionists were very overworked and it seemed understaffed. My best friend went to him to fix her ingrown toe nails. He was agressive and ruff. The procudure was very painful and the result was awful. It looks like it was done by someone that never had any medical training. The nailbeds looks like they have deep holes. This is the BESTEST podiatrist ive been to. I swore by my 1st podiatrist but dr abrams completely surpasses him. He has been treating me for several months. He has even given me 2 cortisone shots...one in each heel. He promised he would be gentle and it would only hurt a little bit! He was right. Those were the best cortisone shots I ever gotten. The doctor is sweet, funny, a talented photographer, and very caring. I wish I had met him when I first started having problems with my feet. His staff his as caring as he is. read more

I had been to one podiatrist before Dr. Abrams. That doc gave up on me after I purchased $400 orthotics that didn't help. Dr. Abrams figured out part of the issue with the orthotics and has continued to work with me on correcting the rest. Yes, you may wait a bit, but he gives EVERYONE the same consideration. Took my teenage son to see Dr. Abrams. The wait time wasn't too bad. The Doctor was awesome the staff and his assistant where very professional and nice. My son was very comfortable with him. Dr is super funny and knowledgeable. He reassure my son not to worry that everything would be fine. Cracked a few jokes to help my son with his nervousness during the toe nail removal. I too, waited a bit over my appointment time but upon hearing what he was dealing with and that one of those issues was very serious, I figured I picked the right guy. If I came in with an issue that I thought was minor that turned out to be more serious than I thought, I'd want the doc to help me right then, not in another day or week. When my turn came, he was thorough, willing to answer my questions, very methodical in the procudures he provided and never once did I feel like I was being rushed. Kudos to Dr. Abrams for being the type of doctor that we all want, caring, thorough and patient! As for his office staff, all very capable and friendly. For those naysayers, maybe you need to realize the world does NOT revolve around you and you only and before you get cranky about waiting, try and find out if he's dealing with something unexpected. Some day that unexpected emergency may be you or your family member and you'd want him to take the time to help right then.
