This is a great little shop in Lee Heights that offers high quality (though not outrageously…read morepriced) Women's fashion and accessories as well as adorable high end baby and toddler clothing. They also offer a great selection of unique gifts and other special items that you can't find at the countless big box stores that have taken over almost everywhere else here now. It's like visiting...Etsy...in person. If such a store existed of course. Obviously only a very very small, and very highly curated BIT of Etsy, but still...it's etsy-esque. In a good way. Well worth a visit. Especially for those "extra hard to shop for" and "already have everything" types. They're also great for the many miscellaneous gift needs that pop up throughout the year for coworkers and teachers and other people you might not know very well and whose gift options fall uncomfortably in between even the classiest target dollar bin options your best friends might love, and the fancier more expensive fare reserved for one's own children, close relatives, spouses... The "I don't really know what, but ideally something special and memorable and cool" gifts for all sorts of things like secret Santas, teacher appreciation, miscellaneous baby/bridal showers, office party exchanges, attempts to gain favor or acceptance from cringey or critical or perfectly lovely mother in laws...etc. This place is perfect for all of those and more. I've found awesome Christmas presents for my mother here two years in a row now, and many fun things for myself as well. Best boutique baby clothes section I've seen in the Arlington area, actually. Oh! And Scout bags galore!

I need to report an extremely disturbing experience at a Nordstrom Rack store during a recent visit…read morewith my husband. We were shopping for outfits for our son's graduation, which should have been a positive and memorable occasion. Instead, I was subjected to unprofessional, confrontational, and ultimately abusive behavior by a fitting room associate. Upon approaching the fitting room, I followed the associate's directions regarding where to place my cart, although her instructions were inconsistent and unclear. Inside the dressing room, I found a shirt that had been left behind by a previous customer. After trying on approximately seven items, I returned them to hangers and exited the fitting room. At that point, the associate demanded that I remove and hang the shirt that I had not brought into the dressing room. I explained that it was not mine. She became visibly frustrated, entered the room herself, and then shifted her focus to insisting that I return all of my items to the exact locations on the sales floor where I had found them. I placed the clothing neatly on the rack provided near the fitting room, which is standard practice in most retail stores. I declined to return the items to the sales floor, as that is typically handled by store staff to ensure proper organization. The situation escalated significantly when the associate followed me out of the fitting area and toward the front of the store, continuing to confront me. She then called me a "horrible human being" and used an additional demeaning term toward me. Racially motivated ! Being followed and verbally insulted while exiting the store was both shocking and unacceptable. I think she forgot what her job actually was and that was too curate the clothing, and to rehang them up she had the nerve to continue following me and would have exited the store to follow me. Had someone else stopped her I am a 50-year-old customer who has shopped in retail stores my entire life, and I have never experienced anything remotely like this. This interaction was not only unprofessional but crossed the line into harassment. this incident be investigated thoroughly. No customer should be treated in this manner under any circumstances. I would also appreciate a response outlining what steps will be taken to address this situation and ensure it does not happen to others. Huge thumbs down to this store and this horrible little twit

This was a Lion and Tigers and Bears OH MY situation! It's quite crowded in here. Not cluttered but crowded. They have soooo much stuff and it's all in order. This place could be 2-3 floors easy!! I saw all of my fav brands at great prices. They have a huge selection of high-end wear for a great price. They have a huge selection of summer, spring and winter wear. The cosmetics and body care... chef's kiss!! They have everything in every color/ scent/ size!! Cool accessories, luggage galore, etc. I did not take a gander at the shoes as I had a show nearby to attend. I bought 2 gorge blouses and a short sleeve loose fitting denim blue top. I will revisit very soon for some more shopping greatness.

But the best part really is the warmth and care of the staff at this particular location. Everyone is wonderful but, to me, Anica really goes above and beyond. She is attentive, taking the time to understand what I need and help me find what works for me. She has a great sense of style too! Whether she's helping me at the store or via text, I can always count on her help to make the most of the pieces I have. She's just absolutely delightful and I have a great time every time I go in the store! PS. Everyone is being really careful and safe with COVID prevention procedures as well so don't let that prevent you from stopping by!

Out of town shoppers BEWARE…read more One extra star because I still love the clothes but the customer service/ return policy is completely laughable. If this review seems exhausting to read, imagine how exhausting it was to live it. I came to the Georgetown store while visiting town and was hoping to try on a dress that I'd seen online. Unfortunately, they only had the dress I wanted in one-two sizes larger than I am. The very friendly sales lady insisted that they could ship a smaller size to my home (in Denver) for free and if it didn't work out that it would be easy/free to return. Well, that's not really true. Low and behold, the dress came and didn't completely fit. Totally fine - I knew it was 50/50. Online customer service: So then I went online to try to return the dress - but weirdly the order number kept coming up as not valid. Phone customer service: So then I called the customer service number on the website and a pre-recorded message said it was a 3 minute wait. I waited about 15 minutes and then hung up. Then I called back, "3 minute wait" again, and after a while I got a pre-recorded message saying no one was available. Then I called back and again, another "3 minute wait" and I requested a callback. 3 hours later someone called me back. She asked for my info and only found orders from over a year ago and very rudely and unapologetically explained that that was outside their return window. Only after I mentioned that I purchased something in the store did she tell me I'd have to call the store directly. Turns out even though the store had all of my information from my online account which was how they had my address and email in the first place, for some reason they keep orders separate between online and in store (why?!?) Store customer service: so then I call the store. They seem completely confused by my request to return something and took down my number to call me back in "a few minutes". No call for most of the day. Called them back and was finally told that I would have to ship the item to the store at my expense. Oh and by the way it must be back within 14 days of delivery so I might want to ship it back immediately (LOL). And when I mentioned that I was told it would be free to return, just a "yeah that's not true". Great. So I just shipped the dress to the via USPS at a cost of $20 to me. The whole experience probably added up to over 2 hours of my time. My guess is if they process the return at all, they will add some sort of fee on top of it and I won't see my $440 any time soon. I'll update once everything is sorted. If you live near the store you probably will never experience this circus, but I have no idea how Alice + Olivia could stand behind such an asinine policy that not even employees at the company seem to have a grasp on.
