We had an awesome buying experience thanks to Taylor. I found her through her Youtube RV walk thru videos and we found her to be incredibly courteous and knowledgeable. The best part is Taylor truly cared about finding the right fit and her sense of caring has continued on well past the sale. We're first time RV'ers so lots to learn but Taylor has been there with us every step of the way to ensure our questions have been answered. When I couldn't figure out how to make our hot water heater work, Bill H. was reachable on the first try over the phone and patiently walked me thru the process. When I couldn't complete a DIY suspension upgrade project and ended up not being able to remount the old rear bump spring, Billie got me in the next day to complete the job. Everyone at Transwest has made our first RV buying experience a very pleasurable one. We'll undoubtedly be a repeat customer when we look to upgrade from a Class C to A in a few years' time.

I pointed this out and they said they'd need it another day to complete it. Then they wanted to charge me $1200 to "repair" the abs light that was on. I read their repair order and it said the "abs light not on." But they charged me anyway . pretty disingenuous outfit

Dealer lacks integrity…read more Our 7-month-old trailer needed some warranty work done. I called Trailer Source Inc. in Longmont, Colorado, asking if they would handle the warranty repairs for us even though we had not purchased the RV from them and was told that, yes, they would do the warranty work. They contacted Winnebago and got approval to move forward with the repairs, and an appointment was made. When they trailer was taken in for the appointment, we were told that there should be no issue in having all the repairs completed within the next three weeks in time for a trip we had scheduled. After one week, I reached out to see how things were going and was told they were waiting on parts but that the time frame for repairs still looked good. Week two, I reached out and was told the same thing. I asked what repairs had been completed and was told none but that the tech had looked at everything and would start on the repairs soon. Week three, same. I called the day the trailer was to be picked up and was told that none of the repairs had been made. I went to the dealership and spoke to a service manager who told me that the dealership never should have taken in the trailer for repairs. He said it was their company policy that they did not do warranty work on trailers that were not purchased from them, and he said they would not be completing the repairs. In disbelief, I explained how they had filed the claim, received approval, made an appointment, and kept the trailer for three weeks. I asked why I wasn't ever told that they would not be doing the work. He repeated their company policy and stated that the person I first spoke to was new and made a mistake. I think the "right" thing for a decent business to do would have been to complete the work they had agreed to. This is not a company that I will do any business with in the future.

Avoid their service department at all costs!…read more We needed service on our RV to replace a damaged awning and other related repairs. First, let me say that it is impossible to actually talk to someone on the phone. You call and it tells you to text a number. We started with that and got a response asking us to bring it in that day. I rearranged my schedule to drive it up, encouraged by their initial quick response. When I arrived, there was no record of them actually knowing that I was coming, despite the text exchange. However, they had Brandon come out to look at my camper. He inspected it and showed me some details - so far it was going well. He said he would have an estimate later that afternoon ("in a few hours"). That was a month ago. They now ignore any texts that we have sent asking for an update. Absolutely no communication from Brandon or anyone else there. It is impossible to actually get someone on the phone. What a waste of my time. They seem to cherry pick their jobs and ignore everyone else.

I say again, because I had already installed a new one. The parts guy, Daniel, was a total gentleman. Very knowledgeable and really nice. I figured there would be NO WAY that they could get me in on short notice, but just inquired with Daniel. He turned and asked Sara, the sweetest service rep ever, if they had any technicians who could look at and get the situation figured out. Seriously, she has the brightest blue eyes and smile. A real pleasure to work with. Luckily they had just received notice of another client canceling their services appointment. She got me right in! What they thought might take a half an hour actually took 3 1/2 but that's OK. It turned out the work I had done was (almost) right, and the real problem was the regulator. I guessed at that, but, wasn't going to try and tackle that on my own. They got it figured out, fixed it and got me on the road! It probably cost me a little more than maybe some other shops, but not much. The service staff and techs are consumate professionals. I appreciate that so much. And as for the cost...... I know the owner donates hundreds of thousands of $$$$ (truly) to some very important organizations and scholarships. So as for this visit, I was not unhappy about the cost. I figure whatever "extra" I might have paid is going to good use. Well paid, long-time employees, and worthy charitable organizations. THANK YOU TRANSWEST!
