They did this all at a reasonable price and with a pretty quick turnaround. Fast forward a few months later, my car had some issues that the dealership is trying to blame on aftermarket speakers. I brought it back into Car Tunes and they very quickly brought it back, opened the door panels up and assessed. They brought me back to show that their work was done right. On top of that, they spent the next 2 hours performing tests to determine what may be causing the issue - all at no cost at the end of the day on a Friday! Speaking as someone who has worked at a local, family owned business for 6 years, these are exactly the things I'm looking for in any company I do work with. Someone with pride and ownership in their work. I will continue doing work with this company and recommending this company to anyone needing any audio improvements. Unfortunately the windshield of my new Volkswagen was hit by a rock and cracked…read more I called my Dealership Kuhn Volkswagen, Tampa and spoke to Earl, the gentleman who recently serviced my car. I asked if they do replacement windshields. Earl was extremely helpful and said they use Performance Glass and Tint. He said if I give him all my information he will set it up. He told me that Performance Glass and Tint will order the new windshield and come directly to my house to install it. My husband spoke to Andrea At Performance Glass and Tint and she explained that after my insurance approved the windshield she would order it. She also explained that after the window is installed another tech would come to recalibrate the safety features into the windshield. This morning at 8:15 AM Christopher arrived with the new windshield. He was fast and efficient. He explained everything to my husband and informed him that someone else would be by to do the recalibration of the safety features. Christopher explained to my husband that we shouldn't use the car for 1 hour. My husband explained to Christopher that on a previous car we had a cracked windshield and we called a competitor windshield company. They were going to replace it with a generic brand. Christopher informed my husband that this windshield was a "Volkswagen windshield" and not something generic!! At 10:20 am the tech arrived to reinstall the safety features. I highly recommend Performance Glass and Tint. They are professional and the entire process was efficient and easy!

We had to wait a few days for VW parts to arrive. Christopher showed up early. Got right to work. Shortly after, two helpers showed up. It took 45 minutes to replace the windshield. He explained everything he did. He said another tech will be here later today to re-calibrate the safety features that run off the rear view mirror. After the windshield set I have driven the car and windshield appears solid. So far i'm very happy with their service.

I was wrong and there is a reason professionals exist. Not only were all the cords confusing they were poorly spliced and connected. I showed up to Car Stereo Shoppe and they were quick and professional. They explained why my plug-n-play theory didn't work and how they were fixing the wiring and gave me a fair price. I was in and out within an hour. I left the shop, but didn't think to check each speaker, but noticed my sub-woofer was no longer working. I called them and they had me swing in and resolved that issue within minutes. Nice group of guys who are good at what they do, both professional, fairly priced, and dependable.

I've thought long and hard about this review or even the option of not leaving a review at all. But…read moretoday after noticing a SECOND Diesel leak, calling for customer support, having been given none and to ultimately being hung up on by Rob, I decided to review needed to be made. I did my own research and found the products that I wanted installed on my truck which were a Retrax and a ATTA combination fuel cell and toolbox. And doing my research I found that Sound Waves was an authorized dealer and installer for both. So I called him up and spoke with Rob who said both could be installed on my truck and in the way that I wanted them installed. I told him that I would like to place the order and asked him to give me an out the door price, which he did. I then put a down payment of half of the price and waited for the parts to arrive. Once they arrived we set up an appointment time and I drove out to Tampa from Orlando to have everything installed first thing in the morning. After many unforeseen issues between the retracts and the fuel cell combo and 11 hours of work, the install was still not complete. We had to reschedule for the following week. And when I arrived for the second time, Rob did not communicate with the install team to let them know that I was coming. Either way they got me in about 20 to 30 minutes later and I stayed there for nearly 9 hours well they tried to get everything installed and working properly, which did not happen. I ended up having to come back a third time after leaving the retracts there with them so they could work on it throughout the week to get fit it up properly and to investigate all of the wiring issues to get the fuel pump working on the fuel cell. When I showed up none of the work they said they would do during the week had been done. But nonetheless they were able to work on it on the fly and finally get it installed and working properly. When it was all said and done they tried charging me an extra $500. I argued with Rob and he reluctantly refunded me $250. A few weeks after having the system home I noticed there was diesel leaking from the truck. Upon further inspection I found a Cut and open wire and a hose clamp that was not tight with the hose cut on evenly. I was able to tighten the hose clamp and stop the diesel leak. About a week or so later I noticed another diesel leak. Upon further inspection I found diesel covering the frame of the truck in the side of my factory fuel tank. I called Rob and try to explain to him that this was a problem and needed to be fixed and he told me that if I was able to get the truck to them that they would take a look at it. I asked if he would cover the cost to have the truck towed from Orlando to Tampa and he said no. I asked if he would cover the cost of me taking the truck to the Dodge dealership to have them fix the issue and he said no. I asked if I would need to hire an attorney and he hung up on me. I then called ATTA and explained the situation to them and how they installed the system, because I had to help them do that all three days I was there, and they told me that Sound Waves installed the system incorrectly. ATTA agreed to send me the parts directly for me to fix on my own. This is not exactly the way I would expect business to be done on an install of over $5000. I absolutely do not recommend going there for service, although Pete seems to have a relatively level head and we're not stressed and on a timeline does good work.

I had purchased an upgrade kit for online that was supposed to be an easy retrofit. Unfortunately I didn't know my current radio was modified by the previous owner. Lonnie presented me with all the possible options and risks installing my retrofit unit. Ultimately, I decided on recommended system from Audio Itch and it worked perfectly! I appreciated their attempts to complete my initial service requested, but the value in the end outweighed the risk a frying my Porsche system.
