I went in worried how long it would take for my truck to get fixed. I have an extended warranty and didn't know how long they would take to ok the work. Recently had 2 vehicles serviced at Tasca and neither went well. First I have a GMC Canyon Denali that has a lump in the drivers seat. The seat foam and cover have both been replaced and the irritating lump still persists without resolution. Wife has a Buick Cascada that had an oil leak which cost me $220 for diagnosis (I already told them what was leaking and where) and was informed that the replacement part was discontinued and left with no resolution. Also had a 15% off coupon that was never applied and turned up missing. So I took it upon myself to locate a new replacement part which I ordered from a Chevrolet dealership in Texas and was shipped from a warehouse in Lansing Michigan. Installed it in 25 minutes. This dealership doesn't operate the way it did when Dick Norris was in charge. Doubt I'll be back or offer a recommendation to anyone. read more

Very poor performance in repair of a vehicle. Took two months to do repairs electrical system didn't work properly after the repairs. It worked before they began their repairs. They wanted to be paid for the damage they have done. Tires on the vehicle or different sizes and rims for the front and the back. Reading the material, it is NOT covered. It was my mistake in believing the girl that sold it to me.....She also wrote it was for 7 years but it was only for 6 years. [I have it in her writing]. We had the car for 3 years it didn't need inspection! Great service here! Drove in with a flat tire & was immediately attended to. Got me in but had to get the tire, I just left it there over night & picked it up in the morning. When I got there the LOW TIRE PRESSURE light was still on, I looked at the new tire & it was half full it seemed, so I let Jordan know & they took the van back to the service station & fixed it. This is an honest and reputable dealership. They are one of the very few dealers not charging a "market adjustment premium" during the chip shortage. Mr. Norris, himself, made a point of greeting us when we arrived from Orlando to pick up our new vehicle. He informed us that he has never charged above MSRP in his 40 year plus career. Dean Nebbaki was a great and transparent salesman. No hidden fees. He spent over 30 minutes showing us the bells and whistles on our new Yukon. He held our vehicle for us, which arrived several days early, while we were on vacation even though it was end of month and folks were offering above MSRP. BEWARE OF THESE LIARS! I purchase a used 2011 Nissan Pathfinder from this dealership last month. I asked about the Private Tag Agency of $165 that was on the purchase order and loan agreement as I just paid same fee at another dealer for a new jaguar F-Type and it was only $24. I was confused. It was explained to me by the sales person like this, his actual text message: "The state used to do title work. They changed it and require dealers have it done by an outside agency. It was figured in the other day under govt fees. The yag agency fee should be less than the $250 stated as it is a transfer. Can be as low as $50.00. What ever prints from DMV. That what you pay. We are not allowed to charge extra." This was a total misrepresentation of the fee as it is pure profit to the company outside the filing fee of $15-$20. i then asked the F&I guy who told me it is determined by a 3rd party and they have no control over that fee. The next day it was still nagging at me so I called the dealer and asked for an itemized list of who that fee is paid to and the same F&I person told me he had no idea and transferred me to accounting. The accounting department explained to me that it was Dick Norris's fee and profit to the company. I was completely lied to by this dealership as I pressed several times before buying the car. Doug Norris, the rude general manager explained both his employees knew what the fee was and should have explained to me it was their fee and profit to the company. I asked for the fee to be refunded due to the misrepresentation and was told if I dont like it I can return the car which I did. I ended up taking the car back after discussing with my partner. Bottom line is this dealership will Lie, Cheat and Steal to sell a car and should NEVER be trusted. Go buy a car someplace else as these people are liars. Poor service! Dropped off vehicle at 9 am with check engine light on - they assured me they would look at it and call me that afternoon. I explained that I was from out of town and would pay uber to get back to hotel. I also let them know I needed to leave tomorrow afternoon if possible. Never called. I had to call 4 times to get the service rep who had no voicemail set up. He explained that at 4 pm I was next in line and he would call me. I called back at 530 and was told they never found the time to hook my car to the computer and all techs leave at 5. I picked up the vehicle the next am - two uber rides and they never even popped the hood. I did not expect a quick fix but I do expect honest professional communication. Avoid this place. read more

I have bought 6 vehicles (4 new, 2 used) from Norris over the past 26 years and I just purchased the 7th (used) now that it is Tasca. I have had the same salesperson (John Bruno) and service manager (Brent Boostram) work with me for the past 26 years. This is one of the hand full of dealers that I have worked with over the years that have that kind of employee longevity and that is a big deal for me. When Dick Norris owned it, Mr. Norris always said hi when I was in for maintenance or other work. My most recent purchase was a used Jeep that my youngest son wanted as his first car that he bought on his own. It was a 2016, but with low miles and it looked great. Based on the car fax, there was routine maintenance done, new brakes, rear shocks and rotors turned and some other things that in total came to $1,500 that the Tasca put into it before putting it on the lot. I am very well versed in buying cars, so we were already pre-approved and had decent amount to put down as well as a very old trade in. The transaction was great and we felt the price was fair. We picked up the car on Saturday the 8/20 and went through the finalities of the deal with Rachel in finance who was great to work with and explained everything to my son. We left the dealer to go find a big parking lot because now I had to teach my 22 year old son how to drive a 6 speed manual. Took him about an hour until he was comfortable with it and he has been on his own since. But, this next part is where the 5 stars really are called for. About 2 hours after leaving the dealership, the engine light came on. I called right away and since it was late Saturday, I was told to bring it in first thing Monday. In the mean time, I had codes checked at local auto store and it came up with an O2 alarm (common, no biggie) but the other was for oil pressure. Car was running fine and temps and pressure seemed ok so I wasn't that concerned. Read on some forums, that this is somewhat common in Jeeps as well. Took it in on Monday morning and my advisor was Arielle. She had everything ready and took the car and I got a ride home and went to work. Later that morning, I got a call and email that the oil error was pointing towards pressure sensor. The quote to fix it was $700 and I was told sales department was going to cover it since it happened right after we left. Came in Monday evening and it was done and ready to go, but the bill was $1,000 now because the filter housing that pressure switch goes into was replaced as well. Sales department covered the new cost. So, I left to go home and I got a couple miles down 19 and the engine light popped on again. They were closing at this time, but I called and they would be ready for me in the morning. I stopped and had code pulled again and it was same error. Dropped off car Tuesday morning and got ride home again and later that morning Arielle send me email with quote that since the pressure sensor and filter housing were replaced, the next stage of troubleshooting was the solenoid was sticking in the oil pump and both needed to be replaced. That was quoted as a $1200 fix. At this point, I am somewhat concerned that I might have got a dud car, so I stopped up Tuesday night after work to discuss, because sales was hesitant to cover this round. I met with sales manager and Brent and we talked about my concerns that the engine light came on so soon after leaving the dealer. I was told that there was no indication of this alarm while they had it and I had no reason not to believe them. I would think after knowing them 26 years and with them being in the business that long that they wouldn't think of pulling anything like that on a long term customer or any customer for that matter. In the end, I felt that I did by a 6 year old used car and things like this happened, so I offered to split the cost with sales department and they agreed. Had to wait a day on parts and picked it up on Thursday the 25th and drove it around town and then to work and monitored temps and pressure and all good and ran great. Purchased a used 2020 Inifiniti QX80 in April of 2021 from this dealership. I live out of state and the salesman I worked with was fantastic. He provided up close and detailed pictures to me of any and all flaws that he observed on the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle and arranged shipping to my state. It is now more than 5+ months since I purchased this vehicle and the dealership has not licensed the vehicle in my state. The title clerk has failed 3 times to send me additional temp tags, so my vehicle goes past expiration on temporary tags each month. I've spoken with management and they claim the delay is because they use a third party for licensing. I understood that process, and just wanted to make it clear that I need new temporary tags PRIOR to the current month expiring. They have failed again for the third to to provide this. If you are purchasing a vehicle from out of state find another dealership. This dealership will give you the runaround for half a year or longer with delays in getting you tags. read more

The below email was sent to Brent Boostrom in response to an email asking about my last visit. He's completely ignored my email for over a month, but I did receive another from him inviting me to share my experiences on social media. Here you go, Brent! Concerns? Absolutely. Jack in your south county Service Dept. (on Belleair Road & US 19) told me two bold-faced, outright lies. When I called to tell him the Eclipse needed an oil change and that a "service Engine" light was on, I asked him whether I should bring this car to the north county Service Dept., or if he thought they could handle the repair there. He told me to bring it there, so I did. When he called later on, he said the car would need to go to the north county Service Dept. after all, but that he would see that it was driven there and back (lie #1), and once that had been done he would call me to pick up the car. Later that day he called and said, "The car is ready" (lie # 2). Within 24 hours of picking up the car, the light came on again. I called and Jack told me to take the car to the north county office - no explanation, no apology - just take it there & ask for Lenny, so I did. When I arrived, Lenny asked to see the bill from the south county service dept. He pointed out that the service needed on the Eclipse hadn't been done, and then he showed me that I hadn't been charged the $75 for the necessary service, as if that made a difference. He didn't apologize for wasting my time. He didn't offer me a discount. I had to make an unnecessary trip, using my gas, wasting my time, because Jack of your south county Service Dept. LIED to me - twice. When Jack called to tell me the car was ready, I presumed that he'd done what he told me he would do. When the same light came on & I called Jack again, I expected at least an apology. When I had to bring the car to the North County office, I expected Lenny to acknowledge your company's short-falling, make-up for this waste of my time and gas, or at the very least sympathize. None of my expectations were met. I have been a loyal customer since the day you opened your prior location on US 19. The most pleasant car buying experience my husband and I have ever had. We bought a used Mini Cooper and didn't have to haggle over the price, it was a respectful and to the point exchange and both sides came to a mutually agreed price. The process to get financing and everything else with the titles, etc. went very smoothly. At no point did we feel the typical pressure or discomfort we have at other dealerships. I highly recommend Glen Hebert and Dean who processed the paperwork side of things, it was even enjoyable at points with interesting conversation. About a week after we purchased the car I was noticing some issues so I spoke with our Glen who arranged a service appointment. They really took care of me, addressed a software update for which they needed the car the whole day. I was given a gorgeous new loaner SUV and picked up the MINI that evening, free of charge. Purchased a 2009 Cadillac Escalade hybrid and everything went fantastic from the reps to the vehicle. However, as the saying goes when everything goes correct something isn't right. Well here goes. Vehicle was purchased on 08/30/2018 and was taken in for service due to a reduced power issue. The rep max Johnson said that is was an emission problem and my warranty didn't cover it. I paid for the repair totaling 426.13 upon review of my other warranty they didn't have one file from GWC this is a covered repair and I need to be re-imbursed the difference minus my 250 deductible. I took my vehicle in on 12/29/2018 to get an oil change and an issue with the system stating that hybrid system needed to be serviced. Jordan the representative came to me a little over an hour later and stated the hybrid battery needed to be completely replaced per rep Alan brajevich. However upon the work completed about the emission issue it stated that another 27 multi point vehicle inspection was completed. I have a completed inspection form assuming completed prior to the sale of the vehicle and Brent Broostrom stated that the hybrid battery was not tested for functionality. And are saying that it will be $4,868.23 to get this completed. However since the inspection was not performed the vehicle was sold unsafecand not in working order and did not inform that this was an issue with the vehicle prior to the sale and this needs to be solved by the dealership. To add salt to the wound they said there is now way to check to see if they hybrid system is working prior to the sale. I would recommend this dealership only if you are buying a brand new car. If you are buying an used car, triple check everything on their 172 point inspection. I had a problem with headlights and was going back and forth for 2 weeks for them to fix it. 3 times I returned the vehicle to their service. They got it right from fourth time. If we could give -10 stars, that would be more accurate!! You only see the real side of Dick Norris when the deal doesn't go their way. So, granted, you'll read some positive remarks about situations that played out well but if you happen to be in scenario where they don't come out ahead, you'll see how fast their attitude, as a team, turns against you. We came to see and purchase a used Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Our salesman was a nice guy on the surface during the customer courting process but he didn't provide any back up support once things went south. We caught him off guard on a call later and he was an expert "bob & weave" artist and provided zero follow-through on his word when it REALLY counted. Our credit score is in the 800s and they presented us with a full point higher rate when we later compared with another dealership using the SAME EXACT LENDER. But at the time, we signed the contract to purchase this vehicle trusting them and their process. However, we did not bring the vehicle home. Once home, we found a better model of the same vehicle elsewhere and spoke to this dealership and without asking for better consideration, we were offered it immediately and wholeheartedly. We saw the stark difference in business model, ethic, and customer service as we delved into the prospect with them! So you know: in the state of Florida, you must drive off the lot with the vehicle in order to complete the transaction. This is called "Accepting Delivery". KNOW THIS. Call the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles to confirm for yourself: If you have not accepted delivery, the car is not yet yours. They berated and threatened us with lawyers when we quoted this Florida statute. They flatly claimed the law is a "lie" but we have FULL CONFIRMATION from the state to the contrary. We are very literally operating within our rights and we should never have to be subject to threats and intimidation JUST BECAUSE things weren't going in their favor. The vehicle never left their lot and within roughly 72 hours, we notified them of our intention to withdraw from the transaction based on our findings. Two upper-level men stood and shouted at us in their showroom in front of their own customers (cue threats of lawyers, etc). We left without the vehicle. They have ignored every phone call and email ever since requesting our deposit money returned. So we've been forced to involve the state to retrieve our deposit. So unnecessary. So petty. Sure, Dick Norris might ignore us and drag out the process of getting our money back, but they haven't ruined our ability to get into our dream car. We are very happy with the transaction we completed with Courtesy Auto Group yesterday! read more

I DO NOT recommend getting your car detailed here. The service provided was absolutely terrible and was only refunded for the detail (lack of) inside the car. Whether they are selling you a car or buying one from you, everyone should be treated with respect. This most certainly did not happen in my case. My wife and I just sold a car to them and it was unpleasant from the start. We had issues with missed appointments, lack of returning phone calls, forgotten paperwork (on their part), and the list goes on and on. I would suggest buying from a dealership that realizes the customer has choices. In a world of wants vs needs, usually buying a car is a "want" and someone can easily go elsewhere. read more
