I asked for a undercut on the side and the lady who cut my hair pretty much started taking off chunks off the top. This lady went too far in. And now I'm left looking stupid. I almost told her to shave my head but that would look even worse. I ended up letting her finish. I told her I didn't like it at all. Had two cuts here in the last month and I honestly couldn't be happier with the cut. As mentioned, it does take time to get a cut, and the seems to pretty busy on the weekend, but come in after 4 and it's no problem to get in a chair. Only been twice and from what I've heard all the barbers are talented, but this guy Allen is seriously talented and you can tell he takes pride in his craft. The guy has a great attitude and his personality and talent has left me with a pretty good impression of this spot. Being open til 12pm is a serious plus as well for all is workaholics!!! read more

This barber shop has a great crew ! This barber shop feels like a friends house. Ricardo has cut my hair for over 15 Years and I still keep coming back even though I'm far from this location. I last came here a few years ago - my bf got a haircut there and it didn't turn out well and they made him bleed with the razor blade sideburns trimming but...I like to give places another chance, unless they absolutely cause catastrophe, which this place didn't. I thought it was going to be packed on a Saturday afternoon but it wasn't. 2 other people were ahead of me but it was pretty much empty. The guy who cut my hair, I did not catch his name, but he said he and his sister own the business. He did a good job. I asked him to cut my hair very short since the weather is so hot in the valley in the summertime, and he did. I didn't really want the razor blade thing at the end but I held my breath and let him do it. I paid $20 for the haircut. I shall return again sometime!! read more

Good place for a haircut. They are open late. So that's pretty good for when u need a last minute cut. I needed a cut today so I came because it's open till midnight. The lady is alright. She started my cut but had the guy finish it because she didn't know how to use a razor on me. N she trimmed my beard even though I had told her not to. But fuxk it. The guy finished my cut. I do give the barbers 3.5 stars, but the wait is down right a one star! Better yet less than a star! The wait time for a haircut is ridiculous! I don't think any one should have to wait longer than an hour and a half for a haircut! Each person takes literally almost 45 mins PER HEAD! This is absurd! I used to go each month here for my haircuts expecting a certain level of service.Dissapointed this time around.Lady on the corner booth called me since she was vacant and did a disaster of a haircut. Went in today at 6:30 pm and was still in the chair at 8pm with ricardo trying to 'fix' the haircut.Hot towel was left on my face for a good 20 minutes till it went cold and the chair massage was well a joke.Lady was clearly a novice but with the regular guys like Ric and Andrew not around they are your last resort if you are flying out for a meeting the next morning andhave gone to the shop expecting a certain bar of service.Worst part was Ric had the audacity to ask for a payment.This is not the way to treat your regular customers.Sorry guys but you have lost my business.Warning for others: This place is now a training school...Avoid ! read more

I've been coming to Ricardo for many years...10+. Before he even had this shop and I've never had a bad hair cut. I consider him my friend and the best Barber I've been to. I have read some of the comments people have left and think some are from a very spiteful person who was at one time a business partner with Ricardo. He has never said a mean thing about any race or about anyone in my presence....ever. He's very professional and as talented as you will ever find. Ok yes if you don't tell him your in a hurry you could sit for 30 minuets getting your hair cut. But get real !!! he's in demand and people can come in a and distract him, call him and just talk as a good barber shop environment has. If you want the best you have to take the good with the bad..... Oh and did I mention his prices are working man prices.... If you want pampering go to "Studio dumb ass" and pay out the ass. Had the worse experience ever!!! I would never recommend this shop to anyone. Regardless of there availability hours, at the end of the day it's all about customer service. In particular Jason. My son was next to get his hair cut, we decided to go with Jason, being a close friend had recommend him to us. So after he finished up the guy before us, he advises us that he will be taking a 45 min break. Which was fine with us, being he had been there all day, totally understandable. But for us to be waiting for almost 2 freaking hours and with no update on his return, is definitely the worse customer service I've ever had. I mean, at least have the courtesy of calling the shop in order to advise your next customer on when you'd be arriving, but not even that. The owner even had to call him multiple times seeing he knew how upset we were getting, and this dude Jason did not even respond. Besides the owner trying everything in his power to have us stay, I would still not recommend this shop to anyone, especially getting a haircut by Jason. read more

If you want a real barber this is the place to go to. The guy that cut my hair was Ricardo and he is a Pro. Busy on weekends and nights. I have gone 3 times now and each time I have been happy with the cut. I have never tried any of the other barbers as I have always waited for Ricky. The people here take their time in cutting your hair. Not sure how the others are but I have not heard a customer complain when I was there. As inexpensive as they get. Usually come here for my cut, today the hours say 10am till whenever. The fact is that it's 11am and still closed ON A MONDAY. WTF.

My hairstylist, Yesenia, just moved here and she did another excellent job on my hair. My hair is very dark and I've always wanted red hair. No one has ever done what Yesi did, I've been getting complements from left to right. If any female is looking for a real hairstylist, Yesi is your girl. I would give this place 5 starts but the only down fall is that there is no heater. Now that the weather is too cold they definitely need to keep the shop warm. read more

Five stars! They will give u the dopest cuts ever and for a reasonable price

On a Sunday around 6pm I needed a desperate haircut, my favorite place Angel's barbershop in Chatsworth was closed for that time, I yelped local barbers, this place popped up, seemed promising. I walked in, it was completely empty, while it was, the lady worked there looked at me as if were about to rob the shop. I asked if they were still open for business, she continued to look at me with fear and responded with a short "yes" answer. We starred at each other, yet for another moment, waiting for her to at least ask me to have a seat. I had to ask if I can have seat. She said yeah, (I should have left before asking to have a seat) I asked for a taper fade, which I always do, I'm sure any haircut is pretty easy to do when doing a follow up cut. Well this lady messes it up by cutting the top sides super short, no fades at the sides, took 15 minutes to complete, charges me $18 for a POS haircut. This place should be called "Absolute garbage."
