LONG REVIEW ALERT (worth the read): Before I get into the review, I need to provide context. I don't wear makeup. Not because I think "all-natural girls do it better". On the contrary. I believe make up is an art and women who are good at it are bad-ass babes. I'm just lazy AF & happen to be blessed with poppin ass skin. That being said, I'm going on vacay and wanted to add a little glam to my life. I didn't want to fully commit to a lash extension, so my friend told me about a lash lift. Basically, your lashes will stay curled for 6weeks and you can go about living your daily life, not worrying about maintaining them. She recommended I go to her lash girl, Lily, at Babe Cave. The Babe Cave is located in a residential area, within an office building complex. There's plenty of street parking and a parking lot. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but the inside is any glam girls dream. The design is cozy and chic and immediately relaxes you. Lily walked me through the service and took some before pictures. The process itself was simple. I basically laid there for 30 minutes with my eyes closed and she did all the work. She was so easy to talk to and funny. By the time I left, she probably knew my whole life story! The results of the lash lift were incredible!!! Since I already have thick lashes, the curl made it seem like I had extensions! With or without mascara they look great. My boyfriend has always been in love with my eyes and told me "The lift gives your eyes more room to shine" . I'm completely obsessed and will be back. $65 for 6 weeks, it's totally worth it!!! I also checked her lash menu and it's $150 for extensions and $60 for a fill. In a city saturated with lash esthetician options, Lily is a refreshing soul and a expert at her craft. I've had my lashes graced by Lily for over a year now and have never missed my biweekly appointments with her! Her keen eye caters to all and any looks that best compliments my lifestyle and features. She's always willing to accommodate my preference and schedule, and I'm happy to say that my own friends have followed suit and are her clients as well. I followed her from salon to salon and was thrilled when she became co owner of The Babe Cabe. I felt so comfortable with her since day one which is important when it comes to my vajayjay. Do not go here for lashes! I went for a fill and scheduled my appointment online stating I was a new client with lashes. I drove over an hour to get my lashes filled in and the lash artist proceeded to tell me she was going to charge me an additional 40 dollars because I had them done somewhere else. To be clear this was after they charged me at the time of scheduling the appointment 85 dollars before I was ever there for the appointment. I have had my lashes done for over 7 years and was never charged anywhere else prior to the appointment. I went to the appointment and the lash artist refused to do a lash fill. She tried to tell me she was going to take them all off and charge me for a full set because she thought my natural lashes were "too damaged". She then proceeded to tell me if she did a full set she would not do them at the length I had. I stated I wanted them at the current length and then all of a sudden she didn't have that length of lashes. I refused to pay for a full set and said I would go somewhere else and she proceeded to follow me to the door telling me how damaged my lashes were, etc. I then had to email and message multiple times asking for a refund because obviously I had no service completed. I got an email back stating they don't typically refund for services but they would do so this time. I'm sorry but what service did I have done??? I drove 2 hours for nothing and had to go somewhere else for my lashes!! This is the worst lash experience I have ever had and I cannot believe if I would have not asked for a refund they would have kept my money for not performing any service!! Unbelievable!! read more
